Just pick up from where we are. I TRUST YOU HAVE SO MUCH TO CONTRIBUTE. Kbs468 is busy with other Ministerial involvements. He has been stopping by to check. Stick around, you'll find him soon. I do not know if you have done the proper introduction of yourself already, but I'll like to know you more. I think we have similar line of profession. Welcome Dear! |

You and your wife just decided to leave us here abi This is not good o! I just pray this your coming back should be for good sha.Welcome Brother! |
wittyemi:God Bless You Brother for your input. I wish we could have the likes of you more! In old times when this city was still kicking with numerous comments of different sort, some other people DELIBERATELY had to preoccupy themselves with acts of constant criticisms - suggesting that the discussions should only be tailored to NYSC-related matters. Robert Greene in his book "48 Laws of Power" said: Humans are creatures with an insatiable need to see difference in others. People are WIRED differently and unless you create discusses that meets them personally at some point in time, you can't be guaranteed of their active involvement. It beats my imagination knowing that such compliments are emanating from you who do not play any active role in the 'lovey-dovey" affair which is predominant here but still share great understanding with those who care to. For some of us who 'join the train' have standard and responsible lives out here that are not a true reflection of the lovey-dovey we tend to exhibit here (Don't be surprise that some of us are in a SERIOUS RELATIONSHIP out here with either a SPOUSE or our RELIGION) . But we ONLY 'join the train' with the intent of ensuring that the primary objectives of this thread are achieved - have more information from the effect of more participation (and possibly build networks with people of similar minds). That is why some of us work so hard to hide our true identity here. Because these things have been stretched for so long, that is why people have resorted to taking the alternatives (whatsapp, BBM, and others). Remember, people invest their hard earned money making data subscription for different reasons (some of them specifically to keep up with social life). These are things that cannot be swept under the carpet. cc: Fraih |
@ Fraih, its such a good job there Dearie. I knew you will not do anything of less standard THUMBS UP! Please can you also try to attend to other discusses as well? Thanks for being a lady with a difference. Between, I have not heard from you since the other morning. I have a feeling you are being sceptical about something. I just wish I could convince you otherwise ![]() Its so nice to hear from you all the same! |
Fraih Darling is that you? Where have you been? |
Ndejiko:Thanks brother! Please make your contributions. Sosong o! |

Kbs468:Nice to see you wishing people a splendid Easter. Thumbs up Kbs468! If all Nigerians will act this way (being unbiased), we would make a better nation. Between, we are yet to see your contributions o (BUSY MAN). How was your day? |
eddykisses1:Ah ah where is this coming from now? The events and comments that accompanied you taking the 'Married' and 'Pregnant' Rukkyola into your 'supposed house' when the 'supposed husband (sent4rina)' was away, were there TRUE LIFE STORIES that happened outside Golden City or JOKES you were trying to create for the 'pleasure' and 'enjoyment' of the entire GC Citizenry? WHY ARE YOU ALL OF A SUDDEN TRYING TO PULL SERIOUS BODY LANGUAGE STUNT ARE YOU BUHARI, FASHOLA OR EL RUFAI ![]() ![]() BROS ABEG PARK WELL JOOR If its EASTER GIFT you want from me come out PLAIN and stop using INDIRECT MEANS like motor park begger ![]() ![]() ![]() In short, SPIXYTINXY, SPIXYTINXY SPIXYTINXY ooooooo, please, fill this man's empty belle tank with as many bottles he needs. You'll get your money when my next Ministerial Contracts have been implemented. Iambibi, please do same with your fruit salad. Thank you and don't mention. All the same brother, I am yet to see your comments regarding the nature of your state. We all will be glad to get your analysis as some of us have started. Thanks for your usual cooperation in trying to keep this City alive. #OneLove! |
Kbs468:1. Discover Yourself and your Gifts! Socrates the great Philosopher once said "Man Know Thyself" because he realized that the first and most important thing in life to discover yourself - to know your unique contributions to life. Many people just exist. They go along with the waves and current and anything that looks cool or trending. Their presence or absence in any place or gathering makes no difference because they are the "ME TOO" kind of people. Unless a man discovers himself and know his gifting, he'll continue to operate in the lowest echelons of life (lightly esteemed and lowly look down upon). 2. Know how to Turn your Gifting into Financial Rewards Discovering your gifts is one thing. Getting rewards for them is another. People don't pay you to do for them what they can do for themselves. THEY ONLY PAY YOU TO HELP THEM SOLVE PROBLEMS. Until you are able to turn your gifts and talents into the solutions to people's problem(s), don't expect to get paid (unless from relatives and close associates) 3. Sell you Value Proposition You can be as intelligent as Albert Einstein or as Innovative and Creative as Steve Jobs, but if no one knows you have those abilities, you will just live to be an INTELLIGENT-BROKE-ASS. Don't waste your time hanging around those critiques who see nothing other than reasons why those your products and services (skills, talent, abilities, etc.) won't work. Take them to people and places where there are appreciated and needed. Build and leverage on HUMAN NETWORKS as much as possible. (...to be continued) 4. Know the Difference between Assert and Liability A lot of people still work with the assumptions that their PERSONAL houses, cars, electronics, gadgets, clothings, et al are ASSERTS. This is one misconception that slavery has ingrained in us from time immemorial. Robert Kiyosaki in his book "Rich Dad Poor Dad" explained: "An ASSERT is something that brings money into your pocket on its own while a LIABILITY is something that takes money out." "WEALTHY MEN" spend their money and so do "POOR MEN." While it is what the wealthy men spend on that makes them richer, it is also what the poor men spend on that makes them poorer. THE DIFFERENCE LIES IN UNDERSTAND WHAT IS AN ASSERT OR LIABILITY TO YOU. 5. Read (and own) atleast 30 books before you are 30 The saying goes that two things determines where you will be in the next 3 - 10 years: The people you associate with and The Books you read. Someone else said that when you find a man of uncommon intelligence, ask him what kind of books he reads. The Whites jeer us by saying "if you want to hide something from the blacks, put it in a book." There are so much I have to say in this respect but note, the more you are diversified in your knowledge (know a lot within and outside your area of specialization), the better your chances of success in any industry. It is said that it is what you don't know that kills you. THIS IN MY OPINION, IS ONE OF THE KEY FACTORS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE MASS UNEMPLOYMENT RATE AMONG GRADUATES. This is because we are SO MUCH reliant on our schooling systems, when these systems DO NOT teach us ALL the basics we need to know that are required of us out there. Practical things like: =Attitude and Character =Interpersonal Relationship =Personal and Corporate Leadership =Time Management and Time Evolution =Temperaments =Entrepreneurship (Ability to pick anything and turn it into a business) =Public speaking and Skilful Communication =Nigeria taxes and its effect on business =Business Plan, system and proposal =Why FAILURE is a necessary TOOL for SUCCESS =Work and Dining Etiquettes =Dressing and Clothing for several purpose =Writing your Curriculum Vitae/Resume =Trending IT equipments and Office Tools =Multi-tasking =How to conduct one's self during job interview =How to manage Marriage/Love life with work and other things effectively =How to Transform your Talents and Gifts into financial rewards =The school will also not tell you that you will NEVER BECOME WEALTHY by being an EMPLOYEE (All what you will hear is study hard, get a good grade, so that you can get a good job. I LAUGH ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() )=etc etc etc etc etc ALL THESE THINGS ARE HIDDEN IN ONE BOOK OR THE OTHER. 6. Get a Mentor A Chinese adage has it that "better than a thousand years of diligent search, is one day with a great Mentor - a great Teacher." Another saying goes, "when we stand on the shoulders of people that have gone ahead of us, we see into the future." Do not only resort to getting a ROLE-MODEL, get a mentor - a person with more experience than you in your chosen field, and be HUMBLE ENOUGH to follow his/her leading and teachings. All great men since the time of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, etc have succeeded following this single principle. 7. Get (a) Professional Certification(s) Since 1989, we have moved from the INDUSTRIAL AGE to the INFORMATION AGE. In the Information Age, it is no longer how HARD you work any more that count but how SMART. As a result, two kinds of certificates are required of you in the Work Force or Labour Market nowadays: EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION (like the B.Sc, B.A, B.Ed, B.Tech, LLB, etc. that you have where you earn less if at all) and a PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION (like ICAN, PMP, CCNA, NIMN, OCA, etc. where you earn more) Believe me when I say that regardless of your Grade in School, a Professional Certification provides better opportunities in the WORK FORCE {i.e. a THIRD CLASS STUDENT with a STANDARD RECOGNISED Professional Certification stands a better chance out there than a student with only SECOND CLASS UPPER (CGPA =4.49)} 8. Know the true Definition of Love Love goes beyond a plate of Mr. Biggs, a one-time gift of golden chain, a Brazilian hair, a Blackberry phone or Car Key on a Birthday, 5-rounds of GOOD sex, broad chest and shoulders, nice lines extracted from Ramsey Noah, Sexy eyes/looks/endowments, etc. In Marriage, you will need much more than that (which I know that is where most of us are headed). Love does not stop as an EMOTION - Love is COMPLETELY A RATIONAL CHOICE. This is because when the HEAT (challenges of life and of the relationship) begin to show up, those EMOTIONS die off temporarily or completely. The only guarantee at this time in your relationship is the REASON(s) you cannot let go (Which have to be set aright from the outset while thinking rationally). Love is not blind - that is an illusion. LOVE SEES CLEARLY AND MAKES CAREFUL CONSIDERATIONS BEFORE MAKING COMMITMENT. Some of the greatest qualities of love are found in 1 Corinthians 13:4-7. In all my reading, I've not been able to find a perfect replacement for this. MY PEOPLE, MY EYES ARE GETTING HEAVY. PLEASE DON'T BE SELFISH OOOOOOOOOO! TELL US ABOUT YOUR STATE OOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Kbs468:Good Morning Mr. KBS468. I think the report from this link: https://www.nairaland.com/3010320/president-buhari-presents-10-months-scorecard has it that the TSA recovered N3 Trillion which will come handy during the implementation of this year's budget. From a similar report I saw (stating that there are about 260,000 corp members to cater for in this fiscal year), I made the following analysis: PART A Transport Money for 260,000 Corp Members = N3000 x 260,000 Corps = N780,000,000.00 Allowance for 260,000 Corp Members a Month = N19,800 x 260,000 Corps =N5,148,000,000.00 Allowance for 260,000 Corp Members a Year = N5,148,000,000 per Month x 12 Months = N61,776,000,000 TOTAL = Transport Money for 260,000 Corp Members + Allowance for 260,000 Corp Members a Year = N780,000,000.00 + N61,776,000,000 = N62,556,000,000.00 + Contingencies (Cost of Camping, etc) PART B Transport Money for 260,000 Corp Members = N3000 x 260,000 Corps = N780,000,000.00 Allowance for 260,000 Corp Members a Month = N40,000 x 260,000 Corps =N10,400,000,000.00 Allowance for 260,000 Corp Members a Year = N10,400,000,000 per Month x 12 Months = N124,800,000,000.00 TOTAL = Transport Money for 260,000 Corp Members + Allowance for 260,000 Corp Members a Year = N780,000,000.00 + N124,800,000,000 = N125,580,000,000.00 + Contingencies (Cost of Camping, etc) MY PEOPLE, I ALWAYS TRY NOT TO BE AN ADVOCATE OF CORPS' ALLOWANCE INCREMENT. BUT FOR THE SAKE OF THIS ANALYSIS IN RELATION TO HOW 'MONEYS' ARE BEING SPENT/DIVERTED FOR SEVERAL REASONS THAT CAUSES LITTLE OR NO EFFECT ON THE NATION AS A WHOLE, IS APPROXIMATELY N127 BILLION NAIRA TOO MUCH TO SPEND ON CORP MEMBERS WHO HAVE GONE THROUGH ALL THE 'HURDLES' OF BEING A GRADUATE? MY PEOPLE, THIS IS THE FIRST THING I'LL DO IF I BECOME THE PRESIDENT FOR 1 WEEK! GOOD MORNING ALL! cc KBS468 CROBBOY:NB: Most of what I speak here are in Parts and Summary to give you a fair understanding.
