How to Get Highly Targeted Visitors to Your Website!

After all the debate over website design, shopping carts and credit card processors, every website owner eventually comes to the startling realization that they need one more thing to survive - targeted website traffic!

Without website traffic it's the same as building an expensive billboard and, instead of placing it alongside a busy highway, hiding it in your *basement* where nobody can see it.

Upon realizing they need traffic, most website owners run out and start blowing chunks of money and time trying to get "hits," but they fail to grasp that there are really only three (3) reliable ways to get targeted traffic to any website.


Method #1 - Buy Traffic

Currently, the fastest way to get targeted traffic to any website involves using the little classified ads on the right side of search giant Google's results pages.

Called Google AdWords, the system allows any advertiser to open an account with a $5 activation fee and start seeing their ads appear on Google within about 15 minutes.

Advertisers only pay when visitors actually click through from their ad on Google to their website or affiliate link.

Overture.com also sells traffic by the click, but they make you wait three to five days to go through their editorial review process before allowing ads to appear on their network.

You can also buy targeted advertising on dozens of other pay-per-click search engines.

They all follow the same basic model of only charging advertisers for targeted visitors who read an ad based on a keyword search and decide to click through for more information.

A word to the wise on pay-per-click advertising: Watch your costs and track and measure everything. Even though you can get traffic for as little as a penny, you should track your results by search engine and by individual keyword if you want maximum success.

Many a company has lost its entire advertising budget paying only a nickel or a dime per click, but not watching their conversion rates and pouring money into keywords that don't convert... while neglecting the keywords that do bring sales (mainly because they don't know which is which!).


Method #2 - Borrow Traffic

If you need targeted traffic to a website, then borrow it from people who already have it... especially people with lists of loyal subscribers or traffic from search engines, affiliates, or other steady sources.

"Endorsed Mailings" and "Reciprocal Linking" by other people represent the two fastest ways to borrow someone else's traffic.

If they maintain a list of subscribers, convince them to send an email out to their people telling them why they should check out your site.

Also, negotiate a prominent link on their web pages to siphon off targeted visitors who find their website.

Often the best way to persuade someone to do this involves paying them a commission, agreeing to do a similar mailing, or providing a link to them on your site (or a combination of all three).

Imagine how much traffic you could get if someone with a list of 10,000 loyal subscribers told their people to go look at your website!


Method #3 Recycle Traffic

The most economical way to get targeted traffic involves turning one-time visitors into regular, repeat visitors that you direct to multiple sites over time.

You do this by pulling website visitors into your sphere of influence by enticing them to sign up for your newsletter, autoresponder sequence, or "mini-course."

Then you keep in contact with regular articles, special reports, and recommendations enticing them to visit your own and other people's websites.

Ultimately, every website owner should orient all of their marketing efforts towards this end of developing a stream of recycled traffic, because it costs the least and creates the best return on time and money invested.

It doesn't matter if you promote your own product, promote only as an affiliate, or some combination of the two... if you don't recycle traffic and get more than one hit out of each targeted visitor, you're making one of the biggest mistakes anyone can make online.

If you hope to have any success at all in the world of email marketing, you first need a reliable and ethical way to collect email addresses and keep in touch with your potential customers. While some marketers resort to unethical tactics to harvest contact information, this approach is counterproductive and ineffective.

Fortunately, there are tons of ways to legally collect email addresses and convince your website visitors to share the information you need for your marketing efforts. Here are 27 smart ways to gather the email addresses you need and boost your marketing success.

1.Place an email sign-up link on the front page of your website. Make it as easy as possible for customers to sign up for your email list.
2.Add an email sign-up form to the main navigation bar of your blog. Give that sign-up form a prominent spot on the page.
3.Add a sign-up link to your business Facebook page. Social media is a great way to engage with your customers and gather the marketing information you need.
4.Sign up for trade shows and bring a fishbowl or bowl to collect email addresses. Greet visitors as they arrive in your booth and invite them to drop their business cards in the bowl.
5.Post your email sign-up links wherever you can. The more attention you draw to them the more successful you can be.
6.Add a link to your email list to your email signature. You send a lot of email each day, so make that communication work for you.
7.Join local, state and national business groups and use the public email addresses of the members to get started. Encourage group members to spread the word about your company and offer to do the same on their behalf.
8.Place a clipboard next to the register in your brick-and-mortar store to gather email addresses. Follow up by sending welcome kits and coupons to new customers.
9.Host a special event at your brick and mortar store and invite guests to share their email addresses. Offer snacks and drinks and talk to attendees about your business and what it has to offer.
10.Ask your employees to gather email addresses and provide rewards for doing so. Make sure the addresses they gather are valid and freely given.
11.Offer special incentives and discounts to visitors who offer their emails. Send coupons and other offers by email to encourage list members to stay.
12.Start a referral program in which current list members get special discounts and free products for encouraging their friends to sign up.
13.Start a birthday club in which list members get special discounts and freebies on their birthdays. Everyone loves to get something free.
14.Use freebies and giveaways to encourage people to sign up. Those freebies can be anything, from product samples to ebooks and videos.
15.Upload instructional videos to YouTube. Include a link to your email signup sheet in the online content.
16.Use your LinkedIn profile to promote your email list. Include a sign-up sheet for your email list in your Linkedin profile.
17.Send postcards to local residents to promote your brick and mortar store and gather email addresses. Print a coupon or special offer on the postcards and send them out, then gather their email addresses when the coupons are redeemed.
18.Display an small and unobtrusive pop-up when visitors leave your page. Use that page to encourage visitors to share their email addresses.
19.Update your Twitter profile with a link to your email signup list. Twitter is a great tool for business, and for email marketing.
20.Customize your landing page to include a link to your email list. Landing pages are great marketing tools anyway, and this will make them work even harder.
21.Add a forwarding link to your emails to encourage current list members to share your content. Make sure that forward links to your email signup sheet.
22.Ask for email addresses over the phone. When customers call to order products, ask for an email address as part of the checkout process.
23.Offer special discounts that are available only to email list members. This exclusivity is a great way to encourage participation.
24.Run a monthly contest for free products and other goodies. Customers can enter by providing their email addresses, and the winner will be notified via email.
25.End every blog post with a call to action and a link to your email list. Use your blog as a marketing tool as well as a communication device.
26.Use Instagram to post photos of your items, then offer that item as a prize for new email list members. Add a link to your Instagram bio to gather the addresses and facilitate the contest.
27.Use your newsletter to encourage readers to sign up. Make your newsletter content compelling and interesting and make sure it is something people will want to read month after month.

When collecting email addresses, always remember that the consent of the address owner is mandatory. Never harvest an email address without consent or trick a website visitor into providing it. In the end, you will be far more successful using honest and ethical methods to build your email marketing empire.

#3 Amazon FBA


This is somewhat similar to drop shipping since you’re also finding products to sell.

The only difference is that you have to buy in bulk this time and ship it to Amazon.

In case you haven’t noticed you’re opening up a store on Amazon itself.

Why Amazon though?

Because there are a lot of buyers there so there’s a huge amount of potential for you. You just have to do your marketing right.

Think of it like this, most of the people browsing Amazon are probably looking for stuff to buy.

Also, with Amazon FBA you start your Amazon store and they will handle the shipping and refunds and what not for you. You just have to send your supply to their warehouse or something.

Pros

Higher profit margins because you get a lower price when you buy in bulk
Amazon handles the customer service and refunds for you
Amazon is a great place to sell stuff because people there are looking to buy anyway

The idea is that you create your own online store and sell products on it, sort of like your own mini Amazon. You do not need to hold any stock because the way it works is that you only buy the product from manufacturers when someone buys from your store.

Of course there are a lot of other details to take care of as well like finding suppliers who are willing to let you drop ship, etc …

But once you have your system in place and your store set up, it is just a matter of getting customers to your store.

When you’ve managed to get customers you will make money.

Pros

Don’t need to stock inventory so there is minimal risks

Can start small with a small budget since you don’t have to buy in bulk

Can potentially sell your store once it’s making money for about 20–30 times the monthly profit.

If you’re a beginner however, I would suggest you start with the easiest form of affiliate marketing, which is CPA ( cost per action ) marketing.

There’s also an added bonus of being able to rank your page on Google, getting you free search traffic. This however, will take time so this is more of a long term plan.
Use social media and forums like Quora for your short term plan of driving traffic for now.
Once you get people to visit your blog and read your page you will start getting clicks and sign ups.
This means you’ll start making money !

You might be thinking that I’m just talking crap but I assure you that’s not the case.

When I first started making money online, I thought that I’d be able to make money in about a month or two.

So I went out and bought some courses, programs, whatever.

First month - no earnings.

Second month - no earnings

Third month - no earnings

Fourth month - quit

I stopped caring for about 3 months or so because throughout my journey I’m seeing others in the same program posting their “ success stories ”.

I thought to my self - “Maybe I’m just not cut out for it.”

I would say the two skill sets that are absolutely most important to make at least $100k per month and beyond are:

1. Being able to SELL your products or services through copywriting or face to face selling

2. Being able to push PROFITABLE traffic to your specific offer from paid advertising channels (facebooks ads, instagram influencers, YouTube channel, google display network, etc)

I truly believe that if you can master these two skill sets there is no ceiling to the amount of money that you can make because as long as you can push traffic to a landing page, webinar, consultation phone call, etc at a good enough conversion rate from your sales skills to be profitable then you can literally just continue to scale your business month after month way past the $100k per month which was your goal initially.

SALES and MARKETING are the lifeblood of any business PERIOD and don't let anyone tell you anything otherwise.

If you can get customers in the door and sell them on whatever your product or service is then making money will never be an issue in your life!

My advice would be to find the best people who excel at these skills and model everything that they do while studying their skills down to the T and eventually you will become just as good if not better than them!

Hello! Earning from home has become a trend lately. And I think whomever this idea came from, was very brilliant, for helping and giving opportunities to earn more to many parents like myself, guardians, even the disabled and/or is taking care of a sick family member, and even to those people who’s too lazy to drive around just to get to the office, like myself too. LOL

Anyway, there’s tons of way to earn money from home. Just be careful though cause some are scams. You can be an English Tutor, a VA (Virtual Assistant), or a photographer selling stock photos online, or maybe an email support representative, back office (admin, HR, etc), a transcriptionist, and others even pay you for answering surveys. Anything and any job you can think of is a post most available and just waiting for applicants. But the best way to figure out ways and to earn MORE is finding out what you really want to do, your strengths, hobbies, what kind of job would actually ignite your passion? I have had a hard time finding what’s mine. LOL. First step is always the hardest as they say. Anyway, once you’ve figure it out, money will surely follow you easily.
