@Seseco; most of the persons that suffered the same fate that you suffered were non-indigenes & I Can probably guess you are a non-indigene too. The job was supposed to be for 1300 non-indigenes (10% of the whole). But more than 2000 non-indigenes merited the interview, so they just have to choose the best 1300 among them. This is not the end of the world dude! Be steadfast & 100% prayerful as a better opportunity will come knocking

Those confusing themselves. UBE is under R/State and whether UBE or PPSB, We Will All Be Paid Equally... R/State pay according to certificate/Qualification not board. The trend from the lowest to highest paid certificate is: NCE>HND>B.Sc>M.Sc>Ph.D

Hopesweet: Bros, many people are rushing for federal work, becos their pay is very high, more than any state civil service in Nigeria, except in Rivers state, where lecturers in UST earns higher than Uniport lecturers. my sis works as a non- teaching staff in a federal university and that is her pay for a start. State security service (SSS), Senior cadet officers, 'which are graduates' earns even more than 120k. My Aunt is presently, teaching at staff nursery sch. College of education (technical) Omuku. At level 8, she earns b/w 80 n 90k and many more too numerous to mention. Well! I don't know where u got ur infor.

Sister, why do people find it difficult to understand simple issues? Your sister working in a federal university & federal college of education will surely earn more than a classroom teacher. The 45k/month I told were for federal government college teachers. They earn very little. In educational parastatal, Rivers State pays more than federal. Lecturers in RSUST/RSUOE/RIVPOLY/RIVCAS earn higher than their mates in the federal universities/College of education/poly. The least paid federal parastatals are police, prison warders & classroom teachers. They all earn below 50k/month

Hopesweet: Yes, the 80k is for Rivers state civil service. Federal civil service structure for grade level 8, is about 120k and above, (This one was stated in appointment letter of one of my siblings).

@Hopesweet Federal Govt Salary scale is not consistent. Teachers are paid 45k at the federal level. 120k for level 8 in Federal parastatal is definitely not a teaching, police or prison warders. They are the least paid

Nothing to confuse yourselves about this whole induction thing... The induction has been split into four batches for four weeks... According to the permanent secretary, this week is for the first batch of PPSB whose serial numbers fall between 001 - 3500. So if your serial number falls between this range and you are post primary... Kindly check page 47/48 and know where your centre falls and make sure you report b4 10am as not to take any risk of rejection or query... G̲̣o̲̣O̲̣̲̣ƌ̲̣ Luck Mates

UBE people are a shame to this whole process... Imagine the delay & the frustration and worry in our nerves. I'm highly disappointed with those slow pokes

For the degree thing, I heard NCE & HND holders are all for UBE now while B.Ed, B.Sc, B.Art, B.Eng and other bachelor degree holders are now for PPSB. Don't know how true this is but the rumour is fast spreading like virus

Take a̶̲̥̅ taxi from there & tell them Ÿ̲̣̣̣̥ø̲̣̣̥u̶̲̥̅̊ will drop at seashell. †̥̥ђε̲̣̣̣̥ distance I̶̲̥̅̊s̶̲̥̅̊ actually trekkable but as a̶̲̥̅ first timer, Ȋ̝̊̅ J̲̥̅̊u̶̲̥̅̊s̶̲̥̅̊t̲̥̅̊ suggest you'd took a̶̲̥̅ taxi. Ȋ̝̊̅ J̲̥̅̊u̶̲̥̅̊s̶̲̥̅̊t̲̥̅̊ hope this will help. common places close to seashell are: industry rd, okrika rd, NPA quarters, harbour rd, railway, wharf (abonnema wharf) rd etc.

Amaechi & his cabinet has been as transparent as possible in relation to this job. We all know that the process has been very genuine & based on merit. To those of us @UBE, they are still venting the authenticity of our certificate. Training/Induction may come longer than expected. Let's still keep our fingers crossed anyway. Some of the information I have gotten here has been very helpful to me, that's why am still using this trend. I never insulted nor verbally attacked anyone here, I expect no one to attack me neither, cos I might not swallow the attack... Thankssssssss

wealthyprince: my friend, let us becareful, calling responsible gatemen with families and responsibility who are doing their job *crappy (meaning unpleasant, disgusting or inferior)* because of excitement or pride of being his boss one day is not encouraging, some of them have given Jobs to people through their connections and there children may be part of this privilege u are excited about...after all if we did not get d job some might still do same job whether in the state, shell or hell...they are human with secure job and there future is bright too...we are only privilege to be who and what we are...if u love them respect them and show love to them....I love u too.

The Crappy Gate men in all boards which we will one day boss them, told me that any news shall be posted to us through the radio... So I urge all of us to stop taking hearsay & stick to our radio... God has won the war for us. In the fight between Amaechi & Patience Jonathan, there will be no victor nor victim cos they are all our Rivers blood. As for the job, nothing shall shake it because its now with the various education boards and no longer with the Ministry Of Education.

It has been arranged by LGAs but the process is too slow. Today about 400 ONELGA people came for clearance but only 100 or less were cleared
