now this is a principle I once struggled with personally for a long time.

We have an almost uncountless stars and planets scattered around the entire universe.

Within our galaxy alone we have more than a trillion stars (sun). With some of these stars a billion times bigger than our sun.

And some galaxy are so far out that we'll never ever reach them even if we are able to travel at the speed of light or even if we surpass the speed of light.

But let me explain this concept in a very simple way. We have over $2 trillion currency in circulation in the world today. And at the moment, the world population is only at 8 billion.

The dollar in circulation is over 200 times the total number of people in the world.

But even at that, there are people in this world who will never see the dollar currency with their eyes till they die.

These people will never believe that there's anything called the dollar out there except their local currency.

It's the same with the universe. It is so vast that aliens if they exist, they may never make it out to reach us and regardless of how much we try to reach them, we may never be able to reach out to them due to the vastness of the distance between us and them.

More so, let's even talk about size. How do you see or even communicate with a being that is almost the size of your planet? I mean, compared to the size of an ant, we are like the planet.

What if the only aliens out there are actually as big as the planets we inhabit? With such size they can move about without the motion being perceptible to us.

After all, who's to say, life (if we can call aliens that) can only exist within the planet?

That's why I call all these sightseeing stupid and for stupid people.

They see aliens that are almost like human beings. Except those aliens are from a planet similar to earth, they can never have our features.

Our features are adapted to this planet. When we travel a little distance to the moon, we need endless extra features and a unique suit to help us survive. When you see astronaut dressed in their suits, do they look all normal to you?

Now talk more of an extraterrestrial being from outer space. They will have no iota of semblance to us because their features will be adapted to their planets, talk more of walking freely and breathing in our air comfortably.

And then there's this lone notion. We are all alone. Simply because there's life here doesn't mean it's a must for life to be anywhere else.

We could be all alone. The universe may be vast but without repetitions. Look at our faces, over 8 billion people, yet no two individuals are exactly alike.

On a bigger scale, the universe could replicate such uniqueness such that no two points in the universe are exactly alike. I mean look at our solar system, no two planets are remotely alike. By varying just the distance from the sun, the conditions of the planets are varied.

Then what more if we vary the sizes of the sun, the distance, the size of the planets, the distance from and to the center of the galaxy and so forth.

The conditions are endless.

We may never know. But believing that aliens are visiting us, to me is pure folly especially when they are made to look like us. if you consider how much we have searched for, how much we have longed for a companion in this world and how much data we have looked into. Yet absolute silence.

This is a male version of the yesterday thread which was created for ladies

Most ladies that commented yesterday ended up talking about men when it was explicitly stated that men should not be blamed.

While others said they need their independence, some say they are impatient and others just got bored with relationships easily.

Today, let's us guys talk about why we can't keep a woman without blaming the ladies.

I'll go first as a guy.

Currently I'm in a relationship with a girl I really like and I think she loves me a lot too. We've been together for more than 3 years now.

Anyways, before her, I was mostly in and out of a relationship before you can blink. I get angry easily and then ghost on the girls.

I am an angry dude by default. Not the kind of anger that will punch you or break things. It's the quiet type. Just go mute and before you know, you don't hear from me again.

Still happen with my current babe regardless of how much I try to control myself. But somehow we've managed to walk through the muddy waters for over 3 years now.

Many others but I think majorly that my anger and impatience were the core reasons why I can't seem to get women or keep them for long in the past.

No one is perfect, definitely not me. But knowing your problem is usually the first step to solving them.

So let's hear from you guys. Remember, this thread means for you to take the blame and not push it to women.

Your POV is not what I meant. Many women I know cannot keep a man due to them being independent, not for fear of this being taken. In simple terms, as an independent woman, you become allergic to BS. The fact that you asked ladies, but the men are all over the thread insulting/abusing thier mothers and sisters is enough to explain why keeping men might be difficult. Men can be inhibitions, they don't give space for thier women to be fulfilled in thier own rights. They see ladies as elements to complete thier own picture without caring much about the ladies' picture. In fact, men want to evolve while ladies don't, and that's not practical. This mostly apply to African men. So asking the women to say why they can't keep a man without blaming men invariably implies you've already concluded it is the woman's fault. In other words, you've already blamed the women and you're just forcing them to accept it and 'confess' thier guilt.

Finally, it's not anyone's duty to keep anyone. People either stay or go.

why a lady cannot keep a man does not equal to blaming men neither does it absorb men of the blame.

Rather we are focusing on the other side of the coin which we don't often talk about: ourselves.

It's easy to point accusing fingers at other people and other things but yourself. The aim of this thread is to point that finger at yourself, dig deep and see if you can cast any blame on yourself.

This is a thread for accountability not accusations. Like you Just did accusing men in everything you did instead of taking stock and trying to be accountable.

If all men are the fault, then what of those marrying and those who have stayed in marriage for 30 or 40 years?
