There was no student union at the time, it was scrapped about a year or so before that incident due to the violence that ensued during the SU election. There was equally no riot at the time. The professor's story ( the guy's dad) was accurate, I was on campus that night. I am a living witness. That guy was killed in that mosque. Nigerians weren't so aware as we are today cos the social media isn't the way it is today, else people would have known the truth. He was killed in that mosque, why lie even on the dead?

Which government agency? The late Sunday was my course mate though my senior. He was killed a night to his 400I defense after which he was to proceed for his IT.
ATBU didn't have any student union that year because unionism was banned. We fled school that day with tears in our eyes and our hearts in our mouths. Ask anyone who attended ATBU from2002-2005
Sunday was strangled and his corpse left in front of the school mosque. It was that year I became scared of Nigeria because no news outlet carried it. If it didn't happen before our eyes, we would have also doubted it.
School was closed for 3months for tempers to cool because christians were angry and wanted to fight back. I still can't talk about it without tears in my eyes

It is not bad if the pre-nursery is just one year. That will ensure that he will be in Nursery 1 by 3years 6 months, Nursery 2 at 4 years 6 months and Primary One at 5 years 6 months and primary 5 at 9 years 6 months. If he decides to do entrances into secondary school in primary 5, he will enter at 10+ which is fine. I took this route with my daughter though she did not do daycare and pre-nursery. she entered nursery at 3+ as she was born in February while my son who also did not do daycare and pre-nursery entered nursery 1 at 3 as he was born in mid September.

There must have been a solid reason for the movement. Their daycare could be filled with crawlers and that means they have to move the walkers to the next class but what I have realised is it's better for my child to be a bit older in the class than younger.

You are very correct. They had an increase in babies even my 8th old daughter joined so they requested for the walkers to be moved.

Pls my son will be two in march and his sch asked to move him from daycare to prenursery this jan. I'm of the opinion that sept is best for him when he'll be 30mths old. They moved two other children who are in the same age range and now I feel like I didn't decide properly

Finally for team April, Baby came 4th may 8:25pm weighing 4.3kg.

my edd was 23rd April from first scan subsequent scan dates varied from 24th to 30th. I carried the pregnancy with 3myomas(fibroid) so my tummy was massive. By my 40th week I was getting depressed and crying over any little thing. I entered May like I was dreaming couldn't believe I was still pregnant no sign of labor nothing. 3rd may towards evening I started feeling small pains on my waist but the intervals were long and far between it went on thru d nyt and stopped the following afternoon. I then made up my mind to go to the Hosp d following day and insist on being induced. Around 4pm that evening the contractions started again this time stronger with shorter intervals. By 6pm i observed that the intervals were less than 20mins apart so I went to the Hosp only to be told that I was 6cm dilated and I shld be prepared for delivery. Was given a bed and drip was set up then that devilish oxytocin was added. Na there I no say labor start. Jesus eh! My God oh! Nurse eh! My waist oh!By 8pm I was fully dilated and wás told to push I push oh but baby was big and I was getting tired the nurses had to start pressing my tummy and using oil to massage my perineum I was screaming for my life then in a flash baby popped out and d pain ended just like that. In my subconscious I told myself never to forget this pain so that I won't get pregnant again. I refuse to forget
She was cleaned and weighed when I was told the weight I argued with them and told them to do it again that d scale was faulty cos I couldn't believe 4.3kg could come out of my bumbum.
I was stitched and cleaned up and taken to recovery.
I appreciate this thread and all the mamas who take out time regularly to come here and keep the thread going. Cappo Patking and all April mamas we came we saw we conquered nothing broken nothing missing. God be praised forever!
