I've not seen War Horse so I can't possibly compare but from the ones I've seen, Schindler's List and Saving Private Ryan are my personal favourites.

You should try and see it. Schlinder's list was good even though it was someone else's true life story. War Horse was an act of pure master class. After watching that movie, I confirmed Spielberg as one of the best movie director in this century.

I'm a chronic night crawler and sometimes my imagination just works overtime especially after seeing a horror movie. Watching "the monster" without getting high will make me murder the little sleep I normally get few hours to sunrise.

Back to Predestination, you said the circle started when he became a time traveller? So he travelled back in time, met himself when he was a woman, slept with her and disappeared. She became pregnant and gave birth to herself/himself and the baby grew up to be exactly just like him...Good story but not convincing enough.

Let's say I agree with the above but before the creation of the time loop, who actually gave birth to him/her? Who and who actually copulated to get her/him into the world before he mysteriously appeared to start his circle?
