Well I won't blame Israel cause their enemy don't want peace. According to what I saw on yesterday's news, it was confirmed that some UN workers found 20 rockets in an abandoned school and turned it over to the Gaza police force and those same rockets were fired into Israel.
Another news says Egypt tried to broker a cease fire between them. While Israel accepted they acceptance was met with rockets.
Honestly I don't think you get what is going on. Hamas is a terrorist organisation affiliated with Hezbollah, what gives them the right to dictate for the whole of Gaza?
A terror group that doesn't care about their civilians so why should Israel care about them?

Do you know how many rulings by the International Court of Justice, the UN General Assembly and the UN Security Council which Israel have violated? Israel's occupation of East Jerusalem and the West Bank for example contravenes past rulings which sees Israel as an occupying force of a foreign land. It has never stopped them. It is difficult for Palestinians to be peaceful in the current arrangement. These people are imprisoned on an overpopulated strip of land with no links to the outside world, unable to travel in or out (except under rare consideration by their Israeli masters) or freely conduct any sort of international business and their occupiers and oppressors have shown zero political will to resolve their situation. What do you expect them to do? Keep kissing the a.sses of their slave masters?

If Israel is or have been violating the rulings by the international community can't they be sanctioned? IMO, Hamas would have seek for a better and safe solution to this problem instead of engaging the enemy with ill equipped weapons. I believe a peace resolution could have been met.

Oh really! i wrote one earlier but it wouldn't do justice to other movies i love so i modified ma post. Do you know how many times i've seen troy, 300, the good, bad and ugly? i can't even count.
If the title of the thread was something like "name one movie in every category you can watch over and over again" that would have done little justice.

I don't want Israel making empty peace gestures to Palestine with arrogant, condescending posturing that doesn't solve the real cause of angst. You cannot keep people subjugated in what is effectively a modern apartheid system and expect their gratitude.

Though am not supporting Israel but why fight fire with fire? Seems like Israel want to increase their boundary and hamas are giving them the cause to do so. last two weeks sunday, i slept as soon as the pastor started preaching. O boy! the man preached for 2hrs straight. I usually wake up at an interval of 25mins just to check if the man has finish quarreling with the congregation but for where! My mom was at one end eying and point her finger towards me but that one never troubled me. Normally when i sleep in church for 30mins, when i wake up i hear them saying Grace but that day's own was different. The man shouting "i'm busy talking and some here are just sleep like they want me to wish them a safe trip to heaven." O boy! some people woke up including ma uncle but for me, na dere the sleep begin sweet.
