This is EquityM, bro. The market might not be going as planned; just relax, and when the bull returns, you will definitely smile. Trading stocks or investing with equity fund managers takes a lot of patience; red means your money is not a dubious scheme. If you started in January or late December last year, you won't give a dime about what the market is returning at the moment. Keith05cool: One thing is, I direct my complains to the investment package and not to any individual, but some people are bent on using it to insult someone indirectly, you wouldn’t assume you are more intelligent or literate than the next Man because this is a faceless forum, I joined this group when it started with EquityM from the other mmf group, please if you don’t know how to talk it’s better to be silent, and I said please, there are few people who don’t make any comments anymore because of such shits, abeg make some people Dey try to use their brain instead of their ass to think and please respect is reciprocal |

The dip will surely come today or tomorrow. Yakubu is the real deal, and Micron is surely making gains from the AI momentum. 🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑 The KOSPI is up; we might see some modest green today if it closes in green at the end of the trading session. auschris: I ended up taking $1100 today. Micron did great today. I expect some profit-taking tomorrow. I'm positioning to take the dip |

Koru did 30% yesterday, and its cousins did 10%. FLXK did 6.99% due to the fact that it didn't see red last Friday. auschris: I understand SK Hynix is coming to the US market soon. For now, we are only able to invest in it via ETFs. For now, KORU is short term for me cos of its high volatility |

FLKR should do 10% tonight. auschris: I understand SK Hynix is coming to the US market soon. For now, we are only able to invest in it via ETFs. For now, KORU is short term for me cos of its high volatility |

Haha, I heard Korea is planning to initiate another KORU stock soon; this year is definitely AI's year. I will start eating free food at my work to invest more in my portfolio. auschris: I just took a $550 profit from KORU. |

How many stocks do you have, bro? Aradel is cool; just wait for it to dip more and enter. welzyj2: Great!! Personal trading is more rewarding.
In the midst of all the red. Okomuoil just paid me dividend, na to use am with my Fidelity money plan for Aradel
You remembered I have been monitoring Aradel since its bull run. Waiting for more dips then I enter |

Yes, bro. Most of the world leaders are also investing in stocks. Donald Trump also promotes some stocks on his social media; the only option is to relax and build generational wealth without panicking. Allboiz: That's true. Some years come red. I noticed it in ngx as well.
Stocks is really a long term investment. All funds should not be dumped in it. You should have a ratio between equity and mmf to balance things. |
Investment › Re: Equity Investment. by CSblackpink(m): 10:09am On May 26 |
If I had started in Jan, I would be 95% up. I recently knew there are negative years whereby no profit will be made for those years. Allboiz: Beautiful |
Investment › Re: Equity Investment. by CSblackpink(m): 9:53am On May 26 |
The market is up today, and I only need 3% to recover from the losses. Buying the dip actually was a blessing in disguise. Allboiz: That was massive. I hope you've recovered from the loss. |
Investment › Re: Equity Investment. by CSblackpink(m): 9:46am On May 26 |
I used to be like him; trading foreign stocks has really tamed my views on stocks. In the last two weeks, I had a paper loss of 15% of my capital in just 4days. Allboiz: As e con dey complain anyhow...
It's obvious he has little knowledge of how this thing works. |

Lol.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Allboiz: I believe you are aware that you can invest directly in stocks so they won't be able to steal your money again. |

KORU (the Direxion Daily South Korea Bull 3X Shares ETF) is designed to be a short-term day-trading tool, not a buy-and-hold investment. You cannot hold it long-term because it is a leveraged ETF that resets daily. It aims to deliver exactly 300% of the daily performance of the MSCI Korea 25/50 Index. Gratefulme: Oh, I thought you are o. |

I'm not trading it; my broker does not have it. Currently doing FLXK:L and some Asian stocks from Taiwan with Intel. auschris: Did you exit KORU? |

Today and tomorrow are looking solid; Samsung already agreed to pay their workers well, and KOSPI and Samsung stock bounced back aggressively today. However, I'm hoping the USA and Iran come to an agreement soon, as the market is always reacting negatively whenever bombs start dropping. auschris: Hoping for some recovery this week. Last week and the early part of this week were very bloody |

Yakubu dealt with me last week; my brain had to do a factory reset. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 Iamblessed8888: 😂😂😂 Yakubu is dealing with us here |
Investment › Re: Equity Investment. by CSblackpink(m): 9:38am On May 21 |
Wow, "100M." CS should treat us; if not for this thread, no one wants to have any dealings with equity funds. Good luck, bro, and may God bless your investments. StockJamesStock: I have just subscribed to CSOF.
Thought about this question as well, but in the end, the facts that the company that has been operating for almost 20 years, is recognised as one of the top stockbrokers in the country (which also means they'll have access to great deal flow) with very positive ratings from international agencies etc, all tipped the balance in favour of CSOF for me. In fact in doing my research i realised that Zedcrest has appointed CardinalStone multiple times to lead their (the broader Zedcrest Group) commercial papers issuances. So if Zedcrest trusts CardinalStone, why won't I trust them too?
20% difference in it's single first year is not enough reason to invest that amount in a fund that hasn't reached 6 months old. My goal is long term capital appreciation (I don't intend to withdraw the money in the next maybe 20 years) so stability is more important than momentary gains. I guess if one was planning to withdraw in less than a year the calculus might be different.
In all, after the initial year lock-in period or a couple of years, if it looks like Zedcrest is consistently outperforming, nothing stops me from gradually moving over profits from CSOF to them or even do another bulk deposit. |

My bank here has an option to use a third-party broker to purchase Intel and NVIDIA. After doing some detailed analysis, I decided to go with Intel. My portfolio is heavily allocated to "tech stocks." Alaska90: Intel ? You get mind oh Anyway I am also chasing Intel but I am using Option trading to see if I could get some.....I have a 127 sell put option on it expiring next week friday. If I am assign my average price will be 116 which I am a bit scare of..too high. But they have paid me premieum on the contract already. So I cant lose both way. |

Haha, I'm not into Koru; however, I just bought Intel. Iamblessed8888: Exactly Bro. That’s the plan. Dont put all your funds in koru o better to do sound stocks of solid companies like Amazon and co |

Wow, looks amazing, bro. Yakubu is always grim and a blessing in disguise as well. However, as Beeron mentioned earlier, one needs to know when to get in and buy in order not to buy a falling knife. welzyj2: Trading has been my anchor in this current market situation. My only stock this Yakubu season has reduced my profit: NGXGROUP. I entered at 130+, so I'm still fine with some little profit.
Status of my ngx as of 2da....will delete in a bit
This new market timing has changed a lot in the market dynamics to be honest from my perspective.
Great to know you have moved funds to foreign stocks. Once the Nigerian market wants to go into another bull ride back in very hard oo |

Alright chief, I hope you can dive into stocks once you have made a lot from equity funds. Iamblessed8888: Nice one chief. Fugaz is the top banks - First Bank, UBA, GTB, Access and Zenith |
Investment › Re: Equity Investment. by CSblackpink(m): 3:05pm On May 20 |
Yes, bro. This week, I bought some units at $94 from $105, and right now Samsung labor Union called off the strike and the land is green at the moment. Beeron: That seems automated with limited control from your end. That's smart.
What you basically just explained is compounding and not trading. That's Warren Buffett's strategy.
Nice one. |
Investment › Re: Equity Investment. by CSblackpink(m): 2:52pm On May 20 |
My broker has a robo platform that buys the dip when my ETF moves away from its portfolio allocation. If I don't buy the dip, the robot will sell my units to raise cash and buy the dip. Furthermore, buying the dip in foreign market is quite good for me as I need more units in a cheaper price to meet my goal. Furthermore, the ETF prices are usually unstable when the market opens, It might dip heavily today and tomorrow morning, it will bounce back aggressively. Beeron: I keep stressing brooo, don't buy dips everyday blindly, resources are scarce. Please reach out to always know when to begin buying dips.
Secondly, FUGAZ are strong large cap bank stocks; the likes of Firstholdco, UBA, GTCO, Access, Zenith (FUGAZ) |
Investment › Re: Equity Investment. by CSblackpink(m): 2:37pm On May 20 |
Cheers, chief, am doing well at the moment. What are "FUGAZ" stocks? I think my risk level has advanced to stock trading. Tech stock has been bleeding for the past weeks and I've been buying the dip daily to average down and accumulate more units. Beeron: How is it going over there, Chief?
Nice strategy moving your funds into foreign stocks, but it might be worth having a second look into buying large cap Nigeria stocks and forgetting them till any year you decide to move back to Nigeria, if you ever have such plan to retire here. Even if you don't have such plan, you can still invest and get the reward in the future.
The reason is Nigeria is still an emerging market, most of our stocks are still under valued so if you buy and forget now, you essentially buying at a discount. If anything, just invest in the FUGAZ stocks and continue to invest abroad. You will be glad you did.
Happy Investing out there Chief. |

How are you, bro? How is your trading going? I don comot Naija equity and am now fully into foreign stocks. welzyj2: 😅🤣🤣🤣
The current yakubu hasn't affected our gains at all
It's only individuals that started maybe early this month that could be close to their investment capital
More Yakubu and Kanayo will still happen during the course of the year. |
Investment › Re: Equity Investment. by CSblackpink(m): 8:58am On May 20 |
This is foreign equity; you can buy Naija equity when it's dipping as well. Ogborokiri: Can we still buy the dip on equity |
Investment › Re: Equity Investment. by CSblackpink(m): 5:03am On May 20 |
Samsung is going on strike; those trading foreign equity should expect tech stocks to bleed more aggressively. However, now is the time to capitalize on the chaos and buy the dip. During times of chaos and turmoil, wise investors relax and make money. |

Thunderatic Yakubu has entered the foreign market. I'm going to buy the huge dip today. Emzedz: We need kanayo today oo
