I went ahead to do a lil analysis on the two fund managers using AI. Fund A is United capital while Fund B is Cardinal Stone. Below is the outcome.

With those NAVs, here's the actual comparison:

Fund A (NAV 2.28)
Dividend yield: 0.3082 ÷ 2.28 = 13.5%
Capital appreciation: 40%
Total return ≈ 53.5%

Fund B (NAV 2.83)
Dividend yield: 0.097 ÷ 2.83 = 3.4%
Capital appreciation: 58%
Total return ≈ 61.4%

Fund B comes out ahead, by roughly 8 percentage points in total return — its much stronger capital appreciation more than makes up for the smaller dividend.

I think CS does not have the reinvestment process; they have to first deposit the funds to your account and then credit it to your bank account.

Don't buy high and sell low.

You got in late; it is normal for equity to give you money and collect it back the next day. Don't panic sell, and you will be fine once the market is back on track. Lastly, equity investment should be held for a longer period of time to see tremendous gains.

I'm based in diaspora, however, I've been investing on tbills and stanbic mmf.

Recently I noticed that the rates of stanbic mmf is kinda low, hence I want to move my funds to another mmf that has a higher yield, from what I've read in this page I can see that FIRST ALLY, TRUSTBLANC AND STL seem to be good. However, I'll like to confirm which of them will be suitable for sm1 in diaspora in terms of customer service (like response/replies to emails, calls etc), easy of withdrawal, ease of app usage, etc.

Secondly, how do I get a CSCS account as I am planning to invest in Dangote IPO (is the hype really worth investing in it) and probably diversify my portfolio.

Lastly, let's say hypothetically, I have 100m. How would you advise I share the funds if I am investing in Tbills, MMF, Bonds, Dangote IPO. Or if u had that amount what percentage will you use to invest in the aforementioned.

While I have some knowledge about all these from my little experience and online research, I'll love to hear from real life investors who are already in the game and those with vast experience.

The stock is very cheap; you can buy it. However, check the trade volume and dive into the YTD for past years. "ATH" means "all-time high." Lastly, follow this guy on YouTube to get insights on memory and chip stocks.

Keeping ur money in MMF is a waste of time, the profit u will make in 3 months in MMF, u will make it in a week in Equity.
waiting for the market to dip again this year wont happen, after this major deep.
Most equity funds are still down, they are just rising up now. Make hay while the sun shines. Invest now and dont wait for anybody.

Some Equity fund is High Risk- High Reward (beats inflation)
MMF is low- risk-low reward (inflation will eat ur money)

Buy less when it is 'ath' and buy more when it is dipping. You can save the money in an MMF and withdraw when the dip is around the corner. I recommend Myinvestar.
