It is not eating your capital; only if you liquidate are you going to lose your money. Equity or the stock market needs a lot of time; nevertheless, if you had gotten in earlier, you might have seen a lot of gains. My foreign stocks and ETFs returned 10 and 20% as of now; if I had started in January, each of my portfolios would be up to 80-100%.
