Nice decision; however, those that made huge gains from stocks or equity held through volatility. I hope your gains compound well in MMF and wait for the next bull run. On my side, I've seen how compounding works in stocks and how it brings huge gains.

Bro, if you can top up, go ahead. Moreover, if you don't need the cash or a long-term investor, top up twice a week with any amount you wish. Zedcrest and others already had a bullish run, and we still have six months left; there will be price reversals, corrections, and others. Kindly hold through and don't withdraw your money; let it compound with your top-up, and the gains will reward you. The stock market is not for FOMO folks or those that are panicking. Next month, there will be a dividend payout; reinvest it if you can.

Chief, nice one, though; nevertheless, you missed the chance of building the X1-X10 portfolio. Next time, try and buy individual stock and do "DCA" regularly.

I have to say i’m impressed with the whole T+1. Equity funds have become highly liquid. Zedcrest paid me same day, CS paid me next day.

Some believe the bears have not even come yet and that what’s happening is mere correction.

Do not move; I recommend doing a little bit of DCA. June has always been the worst month for equity, both at home and abroad. Nevertheless, the decision is in your hand.

This is where your analysis broke down because, Can you even trust that MMF will remain steady at 11% for 2 decades without getting lesser returns, and I know It will swing up past 11% in some years too but this rate isn't steady like it's cracked out to be.

2 decades in typically enough for at least 2 macros economy circles in a country, so running your maths on a steady 11% returns over 20 years is greatly flawn and doesn't hold water at all.

Comparing it to Equities investment is abysmally redundant. I refuse to do such comparison with you, a better comparison should have been long term government BOND.


Just one good large cap company in the stock market with good capex and good dividend paying history will shatter the dream returns of MMF long term.

My foreign friends always think Nigerians are not smart; thank God I usually prove them wrong.

Mmf can never perform like stock or equity long term. Definitely not in a country like Nigeria where inflation is running at uncontrollable speed.

Being patient is always crucial because the market isn't always perfect.

It has bounced back, and more greens are to come soon; however, inflation might affect the market due to the war.

Inflation is affecting the US market; Apple just hiked its products, and the market started wobbling up and down. However, tech stocks will still see green tonight. One of my portfolios is about to return a 4m paper profit.

The market is hovering around 235k which is the black dash. The next support level is probably 225k which is the blue line below the black dash. This means it’s still falling. If it finds support at 225, then good news, otherwise the next support may be sub 200.

How do i know its still falling? The red and green bar charts at the bottom tells the story of the ongoing war between sellers and buyers . The buyers (green) are trying to defend the ASI but they are currently outnumbered by the sellers (reds).

That’s why it’s always said, before you buy the dip, have an idea of what the next support zone may be or else we use your capital to defend the ASI . It’s a noble gesture anyway

The good news is, there’s low volume, hence the dwarf bars. This tells another story which is that what’s happening is purely correction and not panic sell off. If the bars were taller, i’d have said run for your life

CS also pays during the weekend. I think NGX is now in the bearish market; things will definitely get back on track. We only lose when we sell.

CS has the highest loss protection from my observation. CS will shield your losses to the best of their ability, except its a really really red day. Zedcrest also tries in this regard but not like CS.

Paramount’s losses can be aggressive and they started acting funny some months back when they nolonger update same day.
