Another question please. Regarding finance, at what rate does CIC do their conversion in knowing if you have enough funds for study. Is it at CBN rate of 252Naira/CAD or at PTA rate from Nigerian banks at about 300Naira/CAD??

I did a change of name (addition to my surname and shortened my middle name)if any one has done this you'd know the problem

So just one time no denial nor delay I want to give glory to God

I did biometrics on 26th of may
Called for medicals on 17th of july
Went for medicals on 18th
Approval yesterday 28th of July

Not knowing I had gotten an approval yesterday at the salon I didn't read the message well (I got it from my visa agent) I was still worrying a little yesterday night cuz I really want this visa to be approved so I can get this over wiTh

It's only God that made this possible only God and if you don't believe have faith and pray during though times mehn nothing will work out

yes you will be corrected. If you the paper route you will be required to submit your passport with your application. That's the norms for paper route.

Hello good people of NL, please has anyone being able to submit at VFS office either Abuja or Lagos without submitting your passport. I don't want to go online route cos I have quite a number of paper documents to submit but I don't want to submit my passport cos I will be needing it and it's kind of urgent and important I have it with me. I opened my account and saw original passport request. Im confused, im not even done with my medicals. Has this happened to any other person?

After 23 weeks, plus 1 CSE and 2 mails. I got approved today.

Won’t be able to submit my passport till Monday, because I am already preparing for EE and doing my IELTS on Saturday.

got my trv approved yesterday but I am presently in Enugu. Thinking about using a courier service to bring it down here but while going through the vfs website they said
"Applicants have to come in person for collection of documents or ""PAY FOR COURIER AT THE TIME OF SUBMISSION""
Does it mean it's too late to use a courier service since I didn't pay for that when submitting ny application?
And if it's not too late,how do I pay for the service since it's stated on the site that payment has to be in cash at the cvac counter?

Hello guys, my travel visa has just been approved this 20/07/2019 for my Master's program in Engineering Management at University of Ontario Institute of Technology (UOIT) and i am to begin my program this September 2017 and i can't find accommodation yet. Is there anyone around Oshawa who can help me with accommodation for just a few days or weeks just for me to sort accommodation. I promise my stay will be very short. Original passport request this morning. After a denial, to all those who got delayed, please address the Visa officers concern in a detailed SOP and provide all necessary documents to support your situation. God would guide you through. I applied on July 4th.

I actually got to know this thread since last year, but I was a silent observer. I finally tried to post comments and ask questions around may before my application for trv but couldn't, due to login issues. I had to apply like that when I couldn't ask my questions and fortunately with a little help from friends and great help from God my trv was approved. I don't know if I count among the monikers you spoke of in the above comment, but these are my details.

University of British Columbia- applied December 7th 2016, admission march 30th 2017, Trv applications paper route with upfront medicals- may 26th 2017, approved July 7th.

This thread really helped a lot and gave me hope through it all, especially that motto "it shall end in praise, I kept declaring it. I really wish everyone the best and I pray that God turns all tears to great jubilation and laughter.
