dustmalik:If it pains you so much then ask your president to grant them sovereignty, and you would get your dream country of buhari worshipping zombies. Igbos are the most widely travelled, and the only place were your dumb brute of a president would have a semblance of a good name would be in your zoo backward country. |
ever811:Your problem is igbo? It is igbos that control fiscal and economic policies, and blow pipelines? The same igbos that have not ruled your miserable country since forever while the rest of you were electing degenerates into power. Hunger and poverty will finish off what remains of you very soon. |

You that your currency has value, are you as prosperous and developed as south korea? What is the essence of a strong currency anyway? South korea is a developed and rich country. They don't need a strong currrency, not when you have the united states as your benefactor. |
KINGwax007:If true region-wide calls for seccession starts, his likes would go into hiding which would be the smart thing to do anyway. We had many of his types in 1967, probably more Nigerianistic than nowadays, didn't stop the igbo nation from secceeding. |
bigboss80s:The west is not your problem. Look at how the west developed japan and korea. Is it a crime if Nigeria becomes another korea? Your leaders hide their uselessness under the toga of anti western rhetorics and people like you gobble it up. I can assure you that in a million years, you would not be able to confront or challenge the west, so you better learn how to elect leaders that are smart enough to leverage western developmental technologies and policies for african development. Japan and korea for example has handed over their national defences to the control of the united states in return for large american investments. The US gets allies and a sure foothold in south-east asia against communist china, while the japanese and koreans gets western aided economic development and western level prosperity in return, and i am sure their well-fed, prosperous citizens have not regretted it ever since. Hating the west is madness. The most prosperous nations in the world are either western nations or proped up by the west. |
bee444:There is nothing to be proud of here. Maybe the crude effort but that is it. A sensible igbo man would rather import automated artificial arms and legs parts from china and assemble them at very cheap prices. That is a more worthy venture. |
Nigeria is hell. Look at this nonsense. Even with the proliferation of artificial arms and legs in the developed world, you still find thousands of people in northern Nigeria walking about with no arms and legs. What are their governors and oil billionaires doing with all that money.? A smart artificial arm or leg should not cost more than $10,000-$20,000. |
Female bosses even in america are something else. Only an individual who have not played at the highest level of the cooperate sector for very long would deny this fact. Experience would help you in meandering your way with them though. |
Generalyemi:The small scope of your mind. |
Generalyemi:And here comes another. smh. |
Ucheosefoh:I will stop quoting you when you stop painting anambra people as arrogant empty barrels. |
Ucheosefoh:STFU. |
I was expecting somebody to mention the nation and osun defender. ![]() |
Nobody could even prove the article wrong. Anyway, i hope APC is God's tool for Nigeria's disintegration. Atleast, it seems like it. While they are scheming to entrench fulani supremacy in a country that is supposed to be in the 21st century, Sensible and progressive nations are jumping out of the Nigerian sinkhole. |
QuotaSystem:No. That is a pretty loopsided and parasitic reasoning. Their environment is already polluted. Not blowing whatever up will not stop it being polluted by oil production anyway. Stopping or discouraging large scale oil exploration would actually make the land to recover naturally overtime, and also preserve the crude for a deserving generation inside or outside the Nigerian nationhood. It is foolishness to allow your wealth to be carted off because you are scared of losing crumbs. It is time for your buhari to focus on northern and western resources.Everybody with a brain can agree that the niger-delta environment is tired. I don't support NDA actions because i dislike violence in every form, but i think there is a logic to it. |
. |
The story of buhari is a funny story. Forming voltron when he has nothing. Well, let his people support him with forex, afterall he is their most popular politician. A very unlikable man. |
He is a critical asset to the department of defence, silicon valley, and entire american intellectual infrastructure. Leaving the US is not an option for him neither will the US condone it anyway, due to the obvious intellectual level he plays at. If countries like russia or china gets hold of him, he is probably good enough to advance their semi-conductor cum military technologies ten years into the future, the future that america currently plays at. God bless america. |
Bari22:When your people are gunned by soldiers under buhari's orders because they dared to peacefully protest for their UN backed right to sovereignty, come back hear and tell me about hate. |
podosci:Coal is still the largest source of energy for the developed world. There is no moving away from it anytime soon due to its unusual thermodynamic properties per unit mass. I am not one to speak for the niger-delta, but there are no good choices for them. Infact i think their logic is that the oil should be left alone for their future generations since they are gaining very little from it presently. And the logic is pretty sound and forward thinking. A country like Nigeria does not deserve the black gold. Restructure your country first. Infact, there is no reason why Nigeria cannot leave niger-delta oil alone, and mark it as strategic reserves for the next generations like western nations are currently doing. Afterall, you guys have mined it enough. It is probably time to focus on other resources. |
freeze001:And Nigerians are the loser for it. That is what happens when you get retrogressive socialists. The old man thinks everybody in Nigeria is like his almajiri dependents or handicapped beggars, that need a bit of handout for monthly feeding. A program like YOU-WIN would probably confuse the hell out of him , and the next thing you hear is CORRUPTION. |
A decent programme. I was also surprised that for the first time, someone in govt was thinking. And the rigidity of the criteria was a welcome deviation from the Nigerian norm or should i say anomaly. There are a number of such similiar initiatives sponsored by the govt and private sector in america which is probably where okonjo iweala copied it from. Suited more to the first world though than that backward country anyway. Just give them #5000, pursue the PDP, and that is all. |
Saladin25:If you can't see the difference between the old sanusi with a retinue of wives already and children the age of his young wife, and the young single kanu looking to settle down for the first time, then you have a big problem. |
bilazego:I am sure the VP post for a yoruba redeemed pastor is enough to get your tribalistic juices flowing. |
BekeeBuAgbara:A bit of power can make one delusional and forgetful. |
olatunji21:I didn't say they would win. They would lose not because their numbers are not good enough to win especially when you consider how poor buhari is, but because the fight is never going to be fair. A better yoruba candidate hypothetically running against buhari will lose woefully even with all your so-called bridge. That is the power of the north. Whoever they support, even if he has a goat brain would win. Has nothing to do with alliance, just how the political balance is currently stacked. |
decatalyst:The environment is already polluted due to decades of haphazard oil exploration and govt neglect. Maybe, you should threaten them with something else. Oil pollution story is a bit stale already. |
olatunji21:Given the dismal leadership of the buhari administration, and the frustration and poverty in the air, i expect Nigerians to display passion that even money cannot buy. Atleast, i am certain, the usually docile SE would come out and vote enmass this time. I also expect the SS and the middle-belt to do much better in 2019. Though i think the northern almajiri hordes both of minor and legal ages would be a bit too much to overcome. |
freshdude99:He is going to win a second term though more keenly contested than it was in jonathan's time. His victory in 2019, would be a stark reminder of the backwardness of the Nigerian state, and the hold the poorly educated northern towel heads has on the rest of the country. I pity the SE though. Tethered to a perpetually backward nation with no hope in sight. |
bettercreature:smh. Because you managed to serve northern interests this time in buhari emergence, somehow, you believe the SW are now legitimate power brokers. lol. You must think Nigerian politics began in 2015. Why didn't OBJ lose without south western support? |
Nigga has been friendzoned. The lady has pretty average looks anyway, with an excellent voice though. He is probably not attracted to her. |
