The problem is that those states are not wealthy as lagos, and their governors are not as prudent and patriotic as a peter obi that was able to manage scarce resources for the critical areas of need.

Lagos is an aberration. financial Resources are surplus. You can steal and steal and still have enough left.

It cannot be replicated at the federal level where the needs are much and resources are scarce.

With enough money to throw at problems, you can hide poor governance, and incompetence.

You will throw excess money at problems that it will resolve one way or the other.

That is the american model of waste. And that is the lagos model.

Throw too much money at problems and watch it go one way or the other.

The problem is that a lot of resources are wasted, and it cannot be replicated by poorer states.

That is why tinubu cannot take pride in all the other yoruba states he is controlling.

Those other states don't have the resources to bulldoze their way to solutions, and so are languishing in debt, poverty and under-development.
Their HDI is abysmal.

It cannot work be replicated at scale at the federal. We need prudence and proper resource management.
