Nisiw365: You guys feel inferior in everything. If this same guy has igbo father and yoruba mother, you won't see Yorubas calling him half Igbo half Yoruba unlike you insecure lots Oga shut up Carrry everything for head like gala. It's just playful banter. Stop spitting everywhere. I couldn't give a fuckkk where he comes from. He is not going to give me a cent out of his wealth. But all the same , he is half Yoruba. Would you write this same bulcrap if Giannis was an unknown guy who got arrested for fraud? Won't you and your fellow Eboes have been shouting "Afonja!" all over the thread just because of his name Adetokunbo? Na wa oh! Lol. But his name is also ugochukwu. It's on his Twitter page. Is ugochukwu a Yoruba name? |

So far he bears his fathers surname, then hes Yoruba 100% While they are still debating that, the mother currently assumes custody of a child unless she is proven unfit. Na for Nigeria you still dey believe say na Papa get pikin. For yonder, na mama get pikin. Na she go decide if you get pikin or not. |

AuroraB: Because it suits you right at the moment. If it's the other way around, coming from a woman, it'd be so wrong. But then again, he's Yoruba I am a very progressive human being. I don't pander to tribal BS in Nigeria. Hard core igbos will even agree with you, but they would be wrong too. A child is biologically made up of both the father and mother and belongs to both. In the west, it even belongs to the mother more. He is Yoruba, I agree. But he is Igbo too. |

kweensheba: YOU ARE ON POINT He is definitely not onn point. Lagos has more touts than anywhere else in the country. Far far more. And they make significantly far more revenues than anywhere else in the country too. The NURTW LAGOS is the most powerful in the country too. So it makes common sense to make them as a case study, but bigotry and stupidity will make you see it otherwise. You can write to the organisation, tell them to do a study on abia and the rest of the south east so that you can sleep well at night. They have a yoruba chairman, I am sure they will oblige you. |

It's also telling that the ambassador is comparing modern Nigeria to the China of the 1920s.
Dirt Poor and broke.
It shows how backward Nigeria is.
That means we are probably in the state that America was in the 19th century. |
Politics › Re: China Explains Nigeria Loans, Rejects ‘Plot To Hijack Sovereignty’ by CSTRR: 8:31am On Jul 23, 2021 |
I also think the Chinese ambassador is being economical with the truth here.
There are real life examples of China taking over nations.
Nations that are now sovereign in name only.
Go to Zambia, the Chinese run them there thanks to debt trap. It's basically a Chinese colony in Africa.
Go to Sri lanka, China has taken the port of hambantota because they couldn't pay back. China owns it for the next 100 years.
Go to Gambia, China has wrecked their beaches by industrial extraction of sand, and overfishing of their waterways. They have taken over Gambia.
These are a few of the Countries in the China debt trap.
If Nigeria does not pay, China will collect one or way or the other.
The only thing that is stopping from being aggressive is because of the west.
The west is watching. |

Sports › Re: Meet Uche Eke, Nigeria's First Olympic Gymnast by CSTRR: 9:33pm On Jul 22, 2021 |
angelfallz: Sometimes in a bid to complain about Nigeria we make silly statements.
In the Olympics each country picks the sports that they're good in or the sport in which they're likely to win gold. Naturally, Nigerians, Africans and blacks in general are not interested in gymnastics. It's only very few blacks that do gymnastics. Do you think it is a coincidence that you have more blacks doing 100m race? Do you think it is a coincidence that you have more whites doing swimming?
The sports that we're good in like football, basketball, table tennis, running, boxing, long jump are not even getting much attention, you're now talking about sports that we don't even engage in. There is nothing that says blacks can't be good at gymnastics. The problem is lack of proper grooming at the right age. You need a world class edu-sporting syllabus and excellent facilities for young children interested in gymnastics. That is when they are groomed. It is not a coincidence that the sports we are supposedly good at are the sports we learnt from the street with minimal govt input. |

Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Proven Strategies To Reduce Employees Absenteeism In The Workplace by CSTRR: 7:33pm On Jul 22, 2021 |
Very simple.
Use a clocking device that workers are supposed to thumbprint when they get to work.
At the end of the month, any worker that is absent is deducted more than they would have earned for that day if they were punctual.
That is how my organisation does it. |
