Wow your timeline is just two weeks… Congratulations
Print out two copies of your passport data page
Print out the passport request letter you got and the biometric slip they gave you the day you did biometric, then your passport. That’s all

Qasak:
Hello all please I have just been sent request to submit my passport . Please I be super novice and don’t want to make any mistakes. Can you please walk me through on the process of submitting my passport for the study permit visa. Also I applied for work work co op also don’t know if that would make any changes in my application process. Eagerly waiting on your response.

You applied while your wife is still in Nigeria?
Meaning you didn’t add study permit and enrollment letter? Please I need tip cuz am thinking of applying for my partner too from Nigeria and I’m hearing I have to add my study permit they will give me at POE and enrollment letter which I don’t have yet

lawfree638:
Finally, PPR for SOWP

All glory to God.

Application Date: 13 Oct 2022
Upfront Medical Done: 7 Nov 2022
Medical Passed: 14 Nov 2022
Eligibility Started: 28 Feb 2023
BVL: 13/03/2023
PPR: 13/03/2023

The wait and uncertainty can be depressing and frustrating.

I remember someone here yesterday stated don’t bombard them with emails when I asked for IRCC email address to compare with what I have. I was so vexed this morning cos my life is almost on hold. My wife is travelling this weekend to Canada, and I wasn’t happy likewise her!
I angrily emailed various offices, knowing my application was in Kenya! I sent to Dakar, Ghana, Lagos, Abuja, London, Mexico, Qatar and more. I knew it was wrong, but I didn’t care at this point! The goal is I needed a response after sending emails to Kenya at reasonable intervals but no point.

London emailed me that my application is not with them (of course, I know). They said I should go to the general web form (they sent a link), and they will instruct someone to pick it up if I do it now with my application number. I don’t know if they did anything, but I got PPR a few hours later.

The bottom line is I sincerely thank God, and the emails I sent were pleading and angry in some parts.

It will end in praise for everyone.

No need of your dad to send you 9m.
Since it’s an undergraduate program you don’t need to be self sponsored because that would require you having all the funds for the four years available.
Let your dad be your sponsor. Let him pay some of your fees with part of the 9m, then send you 3.5m for living expenses, write a sponsorship letter explaining this will serve as commitment, also add his account statement, business registration or his payslips and pension if any to show he’s employed and have a suitable source of income to provide the fees for subsequent years. And explain lump sum in his account then you’re good to go.
Don’t forget to show proof of relationship too! Goodluck!

Please I need an advice about this please

I never applied to connestoga. My school is Centennial an No they don’t require IELTS

Omowunmi2023:
Greetings! Pls this question is for @cuppycake….did you apply with IELTS for Conestoga ? The schools I applied to are taking forever to reply since Middle of January so am thinking is applying to Conestoga for Sept intake. Pls I’ll be waiting to read from you.thanks
Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by Cuppycak3: 10:35pm On Mar 21, 2023
Personally I’ll say do a gift deed of 4.8m, no need to complicate things more. She is your sister (as long as you provide enough evidence to show this) IRCC wouldn’t worry much unlike if it’s a third party

babineli:

@Djcuppycake, abeg nah your response/Opinion on this question remain. I go buy you mac Donald when I enter Canada abeg. 😊🙏
Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by Cuppycak3: 2:52pm On Mar 20, 2023
You don’t need her statement of account since she is not your sponsor, just show evidence that she is your sister and she is supporting your studies with that money (mention it both in ur sop and the gift deed) then you’re good to go!
If possible add her birth certificate and marriage certificate and pictures with her if you have.
Goodluck
babineli:

Thank you so much, my major concern is if I’m too declare her that she’s my sister, will they request she she also submit her bank statement so they can confirm if she has enough money before she can send me 5million naira, because the truth is the money doesn’t belong to her, she was sent the money and she decided to send me the money to use as POF (living expenses) since I have the money for all my tuition fees. So the major concern is if I should claim deed of gift will they ask me to also provide her bank statement so they can investigate how her account is also run or her current bank balance statement ? Thanks so much, your reply on this is very important.

Yes I have received mine and I didn’t get any other email after the one that said it’s been returned from IRCC office to vsf office in Abuja. I just decided to go to the Lagos office in faith after 3days and it was available for pickup. I complained to them about not getting the message and they sent it after I’ve picked up…lol
Anyways the process took 2wks but I know it wasn’t up to that cuz the last email I got was after 1wk of submission, then plus weekend and the 3 extra days I waited bf going for pick up. If you’re in Lagos you can visit their office and check if it’s ready cuz sometimes they forget to send mails. I even paid for sms but didn’t get a single one.

Cath1234:

Thank you 🙏, please have you receive your passport if yes please how long did it take? And what email they will send that you will know that is ready for pick up .

Have you been sending web forms? Emails? Request for CBSA/GMC notes and know what the problem is…if you relax and be waiting for them, nothing will be done.
Anjiebaby:
Hi good evening.. my case is a little different
I started my study permit visa application in November 2021, and up till date IRCC hasn’t made a decision on my application. On my portal on the Final decision, it keeps showing; “Your application is in progress, we will send a message once the final decision has been made”
.
It has gone on for too long and I am just worried why it’s taking this long. Which has caused me to defer my admission for the 3rd time now. And my current admission is for May and still no decision has been made.

Attached is the details about my application status from my portal.

You can calculate for one year that's what I did and it worked for me. My funds available was 33k cad that I put there
SLOVFO:

Wow!
My tuition fee for the duration of the 2 years study is $20,900+$20,000 that's $40,900. And the living expenses should be a minimum of $20,000 for two years. So if I get you correctly, I should fill the form thus:
Tuition = $40,900
Room and board = $20,000
Other=
Funds available for my stay = at least $60,900

If this is the case, I may defer my application as I don't have this sum ($60,900) in my bank account.
