Yes it is working, but not 100% .

1) it has worked in reality ,because it has helped tinubu to remain in power even after 2007.

2) it has failed to whip up hatred for the Igbos in Lagos and the southwest at large.

The hate from online Yoruba directed against the Igbo that you read on social media is actually fake . Yeah some Hausa-Fulani-islamist social-engineering agents who bear Igbo and Yoruba monikers come online to pour petrol and pump gas into the mix, but they were ALSO STABBED IN THE BACK.

I have seen about 4 Hausa Fulani Vs Yoruba wars in Lagos with my naked eyes . And some were won by the yorubas and some won by the Hausa Fulani.

In some of these fights,Hausa actually came into streets looking for Yoruba to kill, and they actually spared the Igbos they saw.


Now Igbos do not have this culture of insurrections. The yorubas have a little of it , and the Hausa Fulani are masters of it .
