Because it then becomes legitimate business of petrol exportation. Petrol usage slumped by a whooping 50%, so new buyers will be sought elsewhere |

Car Talk › Re: CNG Cost 100 Naira, Full Tank Last 170 Kilometers (vid) by Curious346: 8:09am On Jul 23, 2023 |
Connoisseur: CNG is not sold in litres but cubic meters. A 60 litres cylinder will only hold about 12scm of gas. That's 230 × 12. The standard tank that you see in the boot of different cars is 16scm.. And that will take you for say 110km.. So 230x16=? Although some Hilux and mini pick up trucks do carry two tanks. These tanks are quite very heavy . In the morning ,You always start your car with fuel , and drive for say 3km ,before you switch to gas.... Most times it's required you start engine with fuel |

Operation she?🤣🤣🤣 keymatt: This boy and many of his likes are the reason why Nigerians are suffering terribly today. Bashir is the type that will support the Devil as long as the devil is a member of his religion or ethnicity. That's the bane of the country's underdevelopment. The good thing about the ongoing operation SHEGE by thief Tinubu illegitimate regime is that Tinubu is now becoming very very unpopular nationwide. For a man who stole someone's mandate, that's a terrible situation. People are now looking forward to the Courts to do the needful 😎 When Tinubu is expelled from Aso Rock, Nigeria will be thrown into thunderous jubilation!!!! 😎 |
Car Talk › Re: CNG Cost 100 Naira, Full Tank Last 170 Kilometers (vid) by Curious346: 7:56am On Jul 23, 2023 |
You're still getting it completely wrong .. your analysis is absolutely online oriented BoldBrainz: Well, recalculating with this your updated price implies that 10 litres will amount to 2300 naira, which equals 13,800 naira for a full tank capacity of 60 litres. This amount covers 170km of driving. An additional 20 litres at 4,600 to cover for what's left of the Kaduna to Abuja distance, puts the total gas expenditure for that one trip at 18,400 naira. And you people say this CNG is supposed to be cheaper?
Even if we're to use the current fuel price of 617 for this analysis, it is still relatively cheaper than using CNG. You need approximately 25 litres of fuel to drive from Kaduna to Abuja. That quantity at 617 naira sums up to 15,425 naira. That is 2,975 naira less than you'll spend on CNG.
So what exactly is the profitable advantage CNG has over fuel? |

Yet, Obi himself lives in Lagos this your oduduwa head need resetting .. Selling gala? I also see lots of Yoruba selling kokoro, maggots and rotten crabs and 🦐🍤 inside traffic . But without the Igbos lekki and the other area like ajah ibeju etc would be a thick jungle today . |

Liter is 230 not 100. I use CNG BoldBrainz: A litre of CNG costs 100 naira.
A 60 litre tank is going to cost 6000 naira to get filled.
Driving a 60 litre tank for 170km invariably means, travelling from Kaduna to Abuja is going to empty your tank somewhere around Jere market or a bit further, and you'll have to drive into a gas station for a top-up before progressing to Abuja.
Summarily, you'll spend approximately 8000 naira on gas for the trip. Same distance that ordinarily would require about 25 litres of fuel at 190, which sums up to about 4,900 naira. Then you consider the inconvenience of driving into a gas station while on the journey (that is even if there'll be the possibility you'll find gas stations everywhere on Nigerian express ways during trips).
Oh well! |

On colos AlexBells: Dear Igbos, especially our University student don’t be part of any protest against Tinubu. Don’t pay attention to whatever suffering the masses are going through, they could manipulate you thorough your good heart to protest or even do the unthinkable, every Igbo must remember Kaduna Nzeogwu, it is not anybody’s duty to free anyone from suffering, if at all, it should be the duty of those voted for yet they the ones bringing the most pains.
Aside from that, we still have a case in court, I know tuition increase is hard on everybody, but please keep yourself safe in your school or go home for the time being, it is not going to be be easy but we are not going to be manipulated, we should rather work harder instead and overcome. Anybody joining any form of protest against this regime is entirely on your own especially if you are Igbo.
I believe that all that is happening currently is right, if opportunities can be created, so far as Peter Obi case remains in court and Tinubu is our President for the time being, I know it is hurtful but those especially that voted for Tinubu, if you can’t afford tuition, please kindly dropout instead of endangering the fragile country and yourself. As we are likely to hit the unbearable stage of pain and suffering soon if something urgent is not done, I hope everyone hang on. |
