I feel weak, terrible and hopeless. I lost my job today due to management change of system, I never saw it coming, in fact it came as a shock to me. Am just confused on what to do next, I have huge responsibility ahead of me, even now, I have to find something doing or else negative thought and depression will kill me faster than gunshots. I can't cry out physically but inside I feel pain as if a knife as pierce my heart, my self esteem is weak, my life is heading on a rock, I don't bet, never drink nor womanize, I just want a better life for myself, but it seems better life might never be achieved while still leaving with joblessness and failure status.
Help me nairalander, I don't know what might become of me in the next few days or weeks.

Just like my gf, her her brother bought and changed some few house apparatus, I asked her how much her brother bought those things, she said she doesn't know. By the way, it appear the mandated road worthiness/inspection by the Lagos state government is only for private cars? Cause if truly it's for both private and commercial cars.. 95% of commercial cars in Lagos won't have any business on the road.

My own wife knows my salary, she even receive alerts of the payment most times as we use our phones together.

But I regret letting her know, she will be spending without calculating and the whole salary, finished and yet she feels there should be more money as the figure sounds huge to her ears, not minding we have a building projet at hand.

What work for me may not work for others, in my case, I regret letting her know.

See ehh, I have the most wonderful and understanding partner in the world who doesn't ask for anything but I still do not tell her my exact earning and reason being that as a man you got to prepare for unforeseen events.

If I earn 500k, she only knows of 300k there are some projects or circumstances that will come up and that excess will be needed to solve it.

Recently I had issues with accommodation. I just finished a project she is aware of and accommodation problem came up, I needed to pack out as soon as possible.

I had no money, she was aware of the lack of money but we miraculously moved out. She was surprised, where did you get money from. I told her I was doing Ajo, she was like and I didn't know about it at least carry me along. I said I carry you along but sometimes as the man of the house, bulk of the responsibilities are on me so I need to be some steps ahead of you financially, mentally and spiritually.

My woman is also working and till today I don't know how much she earns, what she uses her salary for even when they pay her. My concern is that work condition is favorable for her.
