360command: the truth is bitter.. I was just quoting the myopic ones... My brothers(including me) usedto have this olden days views about ghana and Ghanaians until they came visiting... In ghana there is comfort but to get comfort in nigeria, we have to pay. As Nigerians we can boast of economy, population, infrastructure... That is all.. A business man(foreigner) in Ghana once told me, for you to like nigeria, you must accept their norm or you must b living in nigeria as a Nigerian to accept the country not that you have a choice but it is what it is..
He concluded to say, " what is there to enjoy if you have or make money as a business man and can't enjoy peace ( comfort). peace is of paramount importance bro. |

Pidgin2: E no get anywhere for this world wen u no "like to know more about" How does it affect you?Why not shut your trap and maintain your low self worth.Let me ask,is it popularity you are trying to acquire here or insults and curses that people have meted to you here in no small way? Look!which ever one it is,refrain ok?You are a human with some degree of rationality. You should know when the music has changed frequency and stop dancing to it.Stop all these your stalking and people badwashing. It won't earn you a dime. or popularity, rather curses and enmity.Stay off people's case because you don't know the reason behide their decisions whatsoever.Be an angel of light and not otherwise. |

AmuEwu: For your question about importing London used laptops, I'll say the market is already saturated just as it is in Nigeria. So unless there's a special way you wish to offer it you'll just end up in the crowd. In fact I think familiarity is important in business, so stick with the market you are familiar with. I'm sure you already understand how things work in Nigeria, and you probably already have some dedicated customers. I think these are advantages you already have instead of coming to Ghana and starting everything again... Remember this advice is if you want to do the regular importing of laptops and selling in a shop.. But if you have something unique to offer, then you can go ahead..
Now regarding rents. .Its crazy expensive in the capital Accra where I stay ( compared to most Nigerian cities) ... This is another disadvantage cause you'll spend a lot of money. But if you have a family member, friend or someone you can stay with, then that is a plus mark for you.
If you have any question. I'm still available to answer Amuewu thanks for the info but apart from phone and laptops biz, what other business thrives there? |

Fallawx: @CORPROYAL i live in Kenya for years . i got married to a Kenya lady and my daughter is of Kenya nationality .. Kenya govt don't like Nigerians , Our people have over used there privileges by taking advantages of their love towards Nigerians .. Our brothers in diaspora has really mess up things for the good ones to mount opportunities .
Kenya was once a great stepping stone for Nigerian migrants but now things are kind of difficult . Only few Nigerians can boost of resident permit . While some use Student permit . while some uses 1yrs Multi entry visa (renewable ) which can only be issued to someone who has spouse or family in Kenya .
The most paramount question should be '' Where in Africa can you easily acquire resident permit excluding SA '' For your friend looking out for business permit i would advice him to visit Rwanda but he has to be very careful ... The Rwanda laws are crazy but he can easily Acquire Business permit .
Perhaps you can try Zimbabwe and Mozambique
Thanks and God Bless How about tanzania? |
