Lol, it's sort of true yunno? I don't speak twi and it was hard for me {especially when I arrived here after a long time}. Because of this barrier sef I cannot go to the market alone. It's even affecting me at my place of work, so I'm now trying to learn it.
Are u a nigerian?How did u get the job there?Please link man pikin o.

I went to Ghana on official duty and came back safely and l think l need to add one or two things.

The flight from Lagos to Accra is 40 minutes and Ghana is one hour behind us. At the point of entry (airport), you are require to present a yellow card. Most Nigerians has fake yellow card (They pay #1500 naira in Nigeria to somebody without taking the immunization and they know), they will ask you to do another one at their airport which will cost 7,000 naira or you tip them grin. At the point of entry, they asked what do l come for and l responded l came for conference and they stamped my passport.

CURRENCY: At the airport, #1000 naira= 10 Cedes. Naira is very poor. We can see what Jubrin has caused grin.

ATM MACHINE
I could not withdraw from ATM machine despite using mastercard and verve card. I tried on GTB_ATM, Access, fildelity etc I was later informed I supposed to inform my back before l left Nigeria about the duration of my trip but l thank God, the hotel POS works.

ACCRA to TAKORADI.

ACCRA is fine and Ghanaians are friendly. In fact Ghana and Lagos look alike. their road, soil profile, roofing of their houses, electric pole, selling inside traffic etc. We traveled from Accra by road and the journey took us 4 hours. We met some checking point and they stopped us once accusing the driver of overtaking Truck while on bend grin. I laughed in 3D because this is a normal in Nigeria. They diver bribed like our police brother in Nigeria. Also they carry AK 47 not like Europe where police officer uses Pistol.

TAKORADI
The environment is sparsely populated not congested like Lagos. Good vegetation,Good road, friendly people. Fluent in spoken English and Light is stable. They have their local language (either Asanti or Kumasi is a common language) but Ghanians are friendly and peace loving people (Nothing like he is Afonja, Flant-head or Aboki cheesy). The driver told us Nigerians are many in Ghana and we saw a lot of them in local market and traffic hurzzling. The story had changed, no more Ghana must go grin.
CARTEEN
I used POS for Breakfast and dinner in the hotel. I patronized local vendor (like mama calabar shop for lunch). The only food l understand is fufu with goat meat which cost 10 cedes.

Sincerely l would have love to relocate to Takoradi Ghana but when l told my wife she said "Laye, Laye baby mi ko jo grin". I left yesterday to NIgeria and l really enjoy my stay. Pls don't mind typo error.
Nice. piece bro,i've really been looking for who will feed me with the living condition and siyuation of tjings in takoradi, hope things are not that expenive there o

I stay in Adenta & at BONDS if anyone knows there... Ghana is a lovely place to stay... Let's reason transportation... Buses you sit 5 on a roll in Nigeria is 4 on a roll here likewise 4 in a roll being 3 on a roll here... Mate as its called to our naija conductors dont hang on buses & take a sit for them self & always clean not smelling garage boys doing conductor who dont have a clue what a bath means... Expensive? Yes... But its worth a place to stay to live a peaceable life...
I stayed in.adenta down during my brief sojourn in ghana,it was indeed an experience worth recounting.

[quote author=AngelicBeing post=62211918]You are right, I was in Algeria for a conference around mid 90's, I used the opportunity to visit Oran, Constantine, Tamarrasset, Ghardiah, Ainsalah, Bouzeria in Algiers, I clubbed in Anaba with a pretty Algerian girl, drank liquor and retired to my hotel room, Algeria is a nice country but you must be good at French and Arabic to be able to communicate very well with the locals although some Algerians speak English as well, Algeria was developed by France and it has beautiful Architectural design, I like Algerian girls, and I enjoyed many of them during my visit, At Op, kudos to you, you made me recall my adventures in Algiers wink[/quoteDo they love black guys or what? Also, how much did your visa cost?

i decided to ignore you because i don't know who is running this account.. Who knows if it's that girl. And her reasoning is something else. But as regards your question about an average ghanaian citizien compare to average Nigerian.. My answer is.... Give birth to a child, leave him/her in the street to take care of himself/herself and give birth to another one and pamper and raise him/her yourself under your roof. After that, come back here to tell us the differences. Thanks
Good one man,kudos!
