I lived in Oyo state during tenure of Akala and I saw the era of "Constituted Authority" (Ajimobi).
At least Seyi Makinde constructed standard, high quality roads, what did his predecessors like Alao Akala and Constituted Authority do?

Bros there is no governor that can solve the issues from previous administrations 100% but he performed above average at least, give him that.

Now compare him to Davido's Uncle (Gov Adeleke the makossa dancer) in Osun state who doesn't even have the cognitive ability to run a state but found himself there, wouldn't you be praying for a governor like Seyi if you were from Osun state?

Makinde really tried as Oyo state governor. I hope Osun state would be lucky to have such a good or even better governor. Not the one dancing Makossa everywhere without passing ordinary WAEC.

The pay isn't something you can find out on the internet, but rather from the institutions. Only thing is that WAEC is a regional body, so their salaries might be more competitive and the job tasks might be less stressful compared to lecturing.

Assistant registrar at WAEC is a non-teaching role, while Assistant Lecturer is a teaching role. Each job requires a different motivation and skill set.

First of all, what do you have a passion for? If you like teaching and know how to impart knowledge, go for the lecturing, but I cannot guarantee proper welfare in a Nigerian university, that is the fact.

But if you prefer an office work where you will deal with files and records, with very little academic input or requirement, the WAEC job might be for you.

Dating the younger lady is not a guaranty that she would be any better. Any lady who has no paying skill, trade skill or anything legit to foot her bill before herb24 will definitely end up like the 30yr old with a bitter experience because no matter the love a guy has for her he will definitely leave once he notice she is a bug and liability. But some guys will spend foolishly on a lady ignoring this red flags, go as far training her without marrying her proper only for her to later dump them for a guy who has done nothing for them. That LG covers the whole of the aforementioned area, including Ajao estate, Ire akari, Okota/Ago and Isolo, which areas are dominated by moderate and very decent Yorubas. They have lived peacefully with every other tribe for uncountable years. Those areas are dominated by people of different tribes and not the Yorubas. The area, including Ajeromi/Ifelodun, Ojo, etc, are not APC dominated areas. Ojo fell into the hands of APC in 2019 owing to the selfish performance of the then PDP people.

When people like you talk tribalism, think first. Youths like you have your minds muddled up by politicians. All Nigerians are free to contest elections anywhere that they please, if the are popular there. Our constitution guarantees that. If your people cannot contest elections outside their tribal territories, then they must check themselves. It means that they have issues mingling with others.

As for South Africa, their own karma is coming. They should learn from Ghana what happened after they chased Nigerians, Togolese and Burkinabes out of their country in 1969. Dapo Abiodun is a disaster

Honestly, I have blamed Dapo several times on this issue of roads, but I am beginning to wonder, could it be that Ogun state's allocation is too small for the size of the state, given the land mass? Then again, Ogun isn't as big as Oyo state (which is bigger than the entire South East).

Cos I am really surprised why roads are so terrible in Ogun state, apart from Abeokuta which is the capital. Obviously, there's something he's doing wrong.

Highest number of universities, highest number of industries (high taxes), best proximity to Lagos, still roads are in such terrible conditions. Na wah ooo.
