Honestly, I have blamed Dapo several times on this issue of roads, but I am beginning to wonder, could it be that Ogun state's allocation is too small for the size of the state, given the land mass? Then again, Ogun isn't as big as Oyo state (which is bigger than the entire South East).

Goethe has a physical center in VI but I don't know the current status of their center. They also take some classes online, which I believe is quite slow and overrated, but that's subjective.

Regardless, you can learn with them or anywhere else and write the exam at Goethe.

I studied optometry (Doctor of optometry) and currently practing here in Nigeria, it seems this opportunity card visa does not really favour those into medical profession as I have not seen anyone who is into medicals apply and gotten a visa, the doctor who asked a question earlier was told that german language is a must since he/she is a doctor, is that really correct?

2. I have checked ANABIN and my university is H+ but my course is written as Bsc in Optometry where as in my certificate, it is written Doctor of Optometry (OD). Bsc in Optometry was earlier offered in Nigeria but was later changed to Doctor of Optometry (OD). Is this something I can explain or I should rather do ZAB?

Please if there is any medical practioner here who has successfully gotten his/her visa approved, I need your help.

1. First of all, the medical profession is highly regarded and guarded in Germany and that makes it a regulated field, meaning that you cannot just practice directly, except for when you have your approbation/erlaubnis.

Now in your own case, you need to show readiness to learn German by enrolling in a course pending your application. The Chancenkarte doesn't strictly require you to learn German, but it makes no sense not to learn since the profession is practically only accessible in German language. So try to learn at least up to B1 level while in the waiting period if you want to be taken seriously by the VO.

2. Kindly do your ZAB evaluation if you don't want issues. All that story of change of title from BSc to OD, is a very long thing... Better don't waste your time while trying to economize, otherwise you may be forced to start over and join the queue all over. Don't think about the cost, just do it.

1. If your immediate elder sister is the current head of the family, yes, you can use her, provided this would be maintained all through your application. The German embassy strictly states that in the case of deceased parents, the current family head should be the deponent, so that's left to the family but I'd advise you navigate with care.

2. Yes, you should be ready to prove that both of your parents are deceased, because they would most likely ask. I'd say you should have their death certificates available and attach them to the affidavit (just my opinion).

And you're wrong about your claims. Read it well again, it's clearly written there that those born after Dec 13, 1992 with their NPC birth certificate don't need it. I think you're mistaking the 2nd part (OTHERWISE) of that text and getting it mixed up.

You're consuming 1 liter i.e. 50cl x2 daily, that's very dangerous if you continue. It can cause diabetes, obesity, weak bones and teeth, even kidney & liver damage. If you observe your body well, you're probably bloated already.

The best step to take is to reduce it gradually. Instead of taking 2 bottles of pepsi daily, reduce it to 1 bottle a day. After one week, try going a few days in the week without taking it, maybe 2-3 days off within the week. Then try to stop it permanently.

Note: You will have sugar & caffeine cravings, but you have to fight it off, so drinking water would help in this aspect as well. Please take your health serious. Prevention is better than cure.

Nigeria runs a very communal system so even if the applicant did lie or misrepresent their age on the birth certificate. Chances are they can likely make the parent/ do the affidavit.

Do they know how easy it is to do affidavits in the country? Those boys are ever present at the gate and would do it easily for change.

I remember a mandatory requirement back then when we entered university where every student had to do an affidavit swearing against cultism and we had to do was go to there and those boys were all over us offering to do it for us without stress as long as we paid them.

In my own opinion, a Valid Birth Certificate is sufficient but maybe they know better and I'm missing something.

To correct the misconception though, it doesn't apply to everyone. If you were born before December 13th 1992, yes you have to do it, but those born after that date are not required to do it provided they got their NPC birth certificate before the age of 18.

Are you sure you're educated at all? What has the Lufthansa strike issue got to do with Nigerian leaders? This is an airline's issue, nothing to do with politics and Nigerians aren't the only ones using the airline.

I don't rate Nigerian politicians, but this is an issue in Germany that affected all travellers using Lufthansa and other German airlines.

What the German embassy accepts is a parent as the deponent, not you as the deponent (i.e. applicant).

Meaning: it's like your mom or dad applying for your attestation of age on your behalf. The pictures to be uploaded would be that of you and either of your parents. If you're using your dad, you would need to upload your photo and dad's passport photo, also with his signature, make payment and submit.

Once it is approved, you can print it online and upload it on the portal.

I think you'd get further information from the study center, but I believe the facilitations is done through the LMS (learning management system) which I believe should be the NOUN eLearn.

Once you start your program, your course advisor would put you through, no issues. NOUN is very flexible and quite decent. Even full-time universities use their courses and books for their lectures, I have seen this on multiple occasions.

Virtually every city in the world has experienced this within the last decade. Less people are moving out of their parent's home either because they cannot afford rent or they just discovered it's a waste of money if you're still single.

Imagine paying 1k pounds for rent when you could stay at home and save up to get a car or start an online business, on top of that, you won't be so lonely compared to living alone.
