This is a tricky situation. It depends on the value of the small equipment. I'm sure there are small untocieable GPS trackers that can be covertly installed on the device. How the trackers will be powered is what I'm still trying to get my head around.

I work with software that can be self hosted on your server to which the tracker can constantly send it's location to. If you are interested we can partner to do something

I am a security consultant working for several construction, real estate, telecommunications sites, hotels, hospitals and individuals.

In the course of my work, I have always recommended that all vehicles under my care are fitted with tracking devices and this has increased security.

However, my clients suffer more losses for small equipment like generating sets, hybrid/ solar batteries, motor batteries and various other equipment. I don't have technology to track same.
