This is a pet section! People on this board keep rabbits as pets not food. But there's a food section embarassed

Actually, dog food is very expensive right now that most dogs look malnourished. I will follow that bsquaredkennel guys with huge Caucasians.
I agree, but what I used to do, and would advise my fellow dog owners to do is negotiate with the eateries around (Sweet sensation, Tantalizers) to give you their bone reminants for free or a token. Coupled with the little dog feeds and your dog would be spoilt with food. The reminants should be fresh though.

So they are one and the same thing right? Then its obviouse most dogs here they call Caucasians are not pure. Better they start calling it Alsatian Ovcharka.
grin
My dear the ones on nairaland at least they have conscience, some are genuine. I met a local breeder trying to see his Caucasian. I was disappointed I didn't even feel motivated to take pictures. We can mix mix for Africa sha cheesy. Telling me the mouth is long because the dog hasn't been fed well. Because of the economy

You re wrong. You have probably not gone far to do ur research, we have so many Caucasian shepherds that are these big, check my profile ND scroll thru my thread, I posted some, I didn't snap them well but I can assure u that if properly snapped, some are even bigger. Especially pumba of bsquaredkennel.

And I hope dt u noticed dt it's ladies dt snapped with dese dogs, remember most ladies have a smaller frame ND wen snapped with dese dogs, mks d dogs appear bigger
I've seen your thread, I agree I didn't know some of us have already started importing quality breeds like your guy did for mating and that's good. However majority of the ones I have seen can't compare to this sizes. Except for your guys own though, I would check him out. Thanks for sharing cool
However I would like to disagree on the frame of the women lol, that same dog has stood in front of a built guy on her page, same result.
I believe another major factor like you and others have pointed out would be the way the shots were taken. The angles were perfect and quality of the picture was excellent. But yeah thanks for sharing
PetsRe: Why aren't our Caucasians this big? by cyrielo(op): 9:00pm On Jul 18, 2018
I guess Ovcharka is a Russian word meaning shepherd or sheep guardian

So Caucasian ovcharka == Caucasian shepherd

Weather, purity and feeding, one of these or all could be the major hindrance.
Yeah that makes sense too, except that no public knowledge of the ideal temperature, food supplements, what do you mean purity? You mean pure breed?

But How can we get information on the special breeding process then or is it a secret knowledge?
PetsWhy aren't our Caucasians this big? by cyrielo(op): 10:21am On Jul 18, 2018
So I love dogs just like most people here on this board.. For me the bigger the better.

I saw this lady's Caucasian shepherd on Instagram and I chat her up to ask why her dogs are so big. Well the answer wasn't helpful because I already know she was going to say good food, but she didn't mention details of the food. Then she also said maybe because of the parents of hers were big and our dogs aren't so big huh

Well here are the pictures for reference.

She was going to sell her pups to me though but the exchange rate is not smiling cry

The design is good, at least better than nairaland. The navigation link at the top, would be better as white instead of blue for consistency.

There is another way to do it. If IPOB could stop people from stepping out of their doors on May 30. We just need a uniting force that says, no voting until we are re-structured. I know I am not Igbo, and I am not IPOB, but I defend IPOB, and Kanu Nnamdi, because for the first time, some one gave up a blueprint of what can work.

If we decide that we are not voting, because there is no qualified Candidate, then we will win. They will not come home to drag us out. As a matter of fact, I am personally not voting cos I see no qualifiedo Candidate. If I can not do anything to make a positive change possible, I will not support what is infact not the solution.
I see your point and it makes sense.
But again Nigerians are very hateful people(tribalistic, quick to violent because of little education, divided by religion and selfishness). I dont admire the unity of the IPOB because they are united based on tribe and that is not healthy.
How do you convince a selfish Nigerian man to abandon the promise of a 3 bedroom bungalow in the uk with a good paying job and free school fees for his three daughters if only he mobilize a thousand youth to come vote? Which they would also get cash rewards?

If the useless pdp that you supported for 16 years had done it job well, would your company have to import any raw material? I ask you again, is it possible to continue importing everything as we use to, despite lower foreign currencies inflow? If businesses do not have enough forex to import raw materials, and they can't source locally, won't they have to close down?
At least dissapoint me with a common sense naw angry

Is it not the businesses that are supposed to drive up foreign currency inflow when they export commodities?

Now the businesses can barely survive because of lack of infrastructural development coupled with numerous government agencies extorting monies for ridiculous reasons. Not to mention scenarios where the government intentionally hike import duties for selfish interests.

This problems mentioned above have been in existence even before buhari. But it just managed to become worse.

Now no one is supporting the terrible Jonathan tenure or this horrible buhari tenure. But your myopic mindset has blinded you from seeing that!

This is bad news. I mentioned the other time the problem in Nigeria is not non- availability of skills but that there are no market to sell to or infrastructure to practice these skills once developed. Somebody quoted me and tagged me silly. This shut down will lead to jobloss and somebody somewhere will be preaching skills. Will skills stop these plant from shutting down? We have serious leadership problem in this country, until this is addressed. We will keep shouting we and wa. It's really unfortunate that an investment worth this amount will close down. But how have they been importing before now? Was there no feasibility study and due diligence before this project began. There is more to this.
You're right, evidently having the skillset is not enough.
BusinessRe: P&G To Shut Down $300 Million Nigeria Production Plant, A Year After Launch by cyrielo(m): 1:24pm On Jul 04, 2018
izzou:
Their reason was the continuous rise in importation tariifs

If you decide to build a house, and you estimate a block to be at #200 in your feasibility study, and when you start, it rises to #180, and after a day or two, it rises to #195, and it less than a week, it's about #250.
Do you blame yourself or the factors affecting the rise?

Feasibility study is just feasible plans. It cannot determine the outcome entirely
This is entirely true, I understand better now. I'm actually facing a similar problem since the government decided to increase import duties on solar panels in spite of the epileptic power supply cry .

You are absolutely spot on.

The only people who support Buhari, from my comprehensive surveys have been people who have never owned a business, never hired people, never invested and largely jobless, hence they have zero understanding of the economic implications of having a man who has zero knowledge of micro-macro economic indicators.

Nigerians who really support Buhari should begin to link their unemployment status to the politics at play, instead of always planning to run to foreign countries. Those countries work because the voters are educated on economic dynamics. God does not give food, religions do not give food, God does not give money, religions do not give money, they TAKE! Tribes do not give money, they take.

So every Nigerian that is tribal is usually poor people who are ill-informed, so they keep on voting in the same people who keep them ignorant.

The greatest trick of the Gods, whether humanoid or etheric is to keep humans in perpetual ignorance of their real powers, so they can continue to be manipulated.

I take this gospel of common-sense to the ground floor of the poorest Nigerians being nairaland, and I say clearly, look at your life, is it better ? Why do you think great countries usually have great leaders ?

It begins with having an Educated and Business Oriented Presidency, it is only Businesses and Working Economies that Guarantees Wealth for Citizens.

I must stop here dear friend. If you want to succeed, start a small business that does not rely on Electricity constantly, put solar panels on your roof and get yourself Reverse Osmosis plant for your drinking water. Stop depending on others, cos Nigeria is fuccked, I am not sorry to say.
Nigeria is truly fuccked, I am not sorry to say either.

But I'm afraid this is going to go on for a couple more decades if not a century! A lot of Nigerians are very hateful and the Nigerians at the top (government) most of them are out for blood.

Anyone who tries to restructure this country for good would be putting his life on the line.

So a company as big as P&G, with over decades of experience doing business all over the world, and invested about $300 million building a plant, didn't do a NICE FEASIBILITY STUDY, according to you? undecided

You are very funny, you know grin
But then what is your point? They have clearly stated the reasons they are shutting down the plant, and that information could have been gotten from their feasibility study in my opinion. But still, I see where you're coming from given their reputation but their reason is baffling as it should have been identified earlier.
