This permanent voters card (PVC ) needs to be scraped because citizens franchise should be inalienable. Inec permutation of rigging is so glaring for world to see, let me start from ekiti election, after inec had successfully denied some voters of permanent voters card which were arranged for some impostors to vote infavour of pdp, secondly they told us 169,000 voters with permanent voters card would not vote because they were unable to register their names but how would unregistered names secured pvc from inec? It was very glaring that those names were replaced with some other names, we were told 169,000 voters were disenfranchised but our calculation after the collation of results arrived at 98,679 so what now happened to 71,689 voters. That is left for tribunal to decide. The same strategies has been put in place to oust Aregbesola in August 9 gubernatorial election. If not for the incautious, shenanigans and inanity act of the so called pdp affliated commission ( inec ) fayose being a grassroot or not would not in any way defeat fayemi. |
The House of Representatives on Wednesday gave the Independent National Electoral Commission 48 hours to give a progress report on the distribution of the Permanent Voter Card in Osun State and other states of the Federation. The House laid emphasis on the case of Osun State, the next state on the line for governorship election. In passing a resolution on the issue in Abuja, it summoned the Chairman of INEC, Prof. Attahiru Jega, to appear before the House Committee on Electoral Matters within 48 hours to give the progress report. The resolution came following a motion on urgent national importance moved by an All Progressives Congress lawmaker from Lagos State, Mr. Yakub Balogun. Balogun, who represents Lagos-Island Federal Constituency II, said a status report on the distribution of the card was important to guard against the possibility of disenfranchising eligible voters. He recalled that INEC itself had already warned that voters who were unable to replace their temporary cards with the permanent ones, would not participate in future elections. His motion was unanimously endorsed by members at the session, which was presided over by the Speaker, Mr. Aminu Tambuwal, without further debate. Part of Balogun’s motion read, “The House is further aware that INEC has directed that all holders of Temporary Voter Card will not be allowed to vote in subsequent elections in Nigeria and also directed that all eligible voters must compulsorily replace their Temporary Voter Card with the new Permanent Voter Card. “The House is worried that available reports indicate that INEC has not been able to effectively replace all the TVCs with the permanent ones in all the states of the federation. “The House is further worried that the haphazard distribution of PVCs may lead to disenfranchisement of eligible voters, which violate the spirit and letters of the Electoral Act 2010 (as amended). “We are concerned that it was alleged that eligible voters who had approached INEC for the replacement of their cards were turned back on the account that their individual PVCs were not ready.” http://spotonreporters.com/osun-election-reps-summon-jega-over-voter-cards/ |
nfts0502: Its time to release the $1b GEJ is asking for...hmmmm4.2 trillion was approved as our national budget and 1.4 trillion was given to Nigeria armed forces to fortify its ministry so as to end insurgency. |
Eldavido1: More reason the $1billion GEJ requested should be granted fast! What happened to one quater of national budget directed to armed forces ? |
Vikky014: Sloan,u r even worst than bokoharam jst check ur last paragraph again@topic,so op if ur child ws kidnapped & u finally had d opportunity 2 meet ur president,u will snub d meeting?u r sooo DAFT,If am d one,i wil go & abuse him d way i want, shikena!!If he really wants to meet with the chibok parents, he should invite them formally that is the sign of seriousness not making useless opportunity of their presence in abuja. |
simpleseyi: Good, let all the Northern APC governors be removed, so that it will be Jona-daft appointing all governors. We are waiting for Jona-daft in the South-West. Let him come and plot the impeachment of the APC governors in the South-West also, History is a biatch, it always repeats itself. The first, second and third republics came to an end due to the refusal of the South-West to be caged by the Hausa-Fulani/Ibo conspiracy. Most of the nonentities here don't know history, tinubu make a remark but most of them hissed at it. You just fold your arms and watch the drama unfold. |
donphilopus: You and your family are tired of your grandparents, not Oshiomole. What has he done that got you to be tired of him?! For embarking on infrastructural development?! I know you're from the darkness though. You enjoyed the 9yrs wasted by the PDP in Edo State. People like you should be gunned down, walahi!Ignore that kid, there are many of his like who love to goof Apc/Pdp thread but run away from intellectual discussions. |
Brainwashed mofo, now you can run you mouth in the public and criticize the same man you were busy defending some years ago. We don't need your loudmouthing, this is a knowned fact to every meaningful Nigerians that okotie is a wayward man ,roli george and every female members of household of god are prostitutes. Awon Oloshi somebody! Pot calling the kettle black. |
goldenboyofpsy: Hmmmm.... This is really serious!!! Everyone is clamoring for disintergration but am not sure we have counted the cost, price&the consequence of the breakaway. Until selfishness,self-centeredness,unpatrotism,tribalism,religion etc is put aside and the country first,we will only take away the leaves and branches but the root of the problem still remains!!! Blood shed, loss of properties human and material will be inevitable if we are to break up. I dont support we break but support we love our neighbours regardless of ur place as ourselves.. It is well with Nigeria. The place of the international community and the devil have failed.Bro, no amount of prayers can save this country from disintegration , jonathan is just a devil incarnate, he has successfully turned this country against everybody except people around him, if this country is working for you i can tell you categorically that is not wokinkg for average Nigerians . |
Look at dickson the heavy giant, jonathan and his unskilled soldiers be like ants for where dickson dey. |
kushsy: And some are liking this? Na wah.It is just the proof that we still have reasonable Nigerians. |
Malala a 17yrs old just did what doyin okupe and other failed advisers couldn't do for over 90 days. Gathering of fools. ....Jonathan should stop complaining and invite them formally. |
That dude is losing it big time. |
jennyesh: Criticize Jonathan all u can but d truth remains dat thr is no better candidate for 2015... Purge medicine is beta dan poison.. Wen u take purge med u ll go to d toilet countlessly but atleast u ll b aliveThank God you reffered to jonathan as the devil behind Nigeria's problem. the angel you talked about was once the head of state, so he's not a stranger to us. |
tsolz84: may sango slap you back into your father's droopy tersticles........ because you are the biggest mistake he made;fuvktards..brainless and spineless fo.ols..what have you done to lead your family or your community?absolutely nothing!all you do is sit down in the comfort of your bedroom and spew trash..i hate spineless and careless fools like youTruthphobia.com! Shame on you. |
gratiaeo: yoloba ppl are d worst tribe in Nigeria, very jealous set, they can hate when u are successful eee. Very dirty set of peeps. Can they even stand For something and fight for it? All they do is playing blame game...Stop hating, igbos are the one competing with yoruba. For instance, how many yorubas do we have in anambra, enugu and other parts of the east ? Come to lagos, ondo, ogun and see how your igbo brothers trying hard to rule over yorubas. |
Adelaide2: Hhahahah! Peaceful with gbomogbomo. I hear youYou failed to understand that during that time you hardly seen idlers in yorubalanð, if you didn't go to school you must be in the farm but reverse is the case for our desperate brothers who wanted to have everything without engaging themselves with meaningful jobs. Igbo don't have means of livelihood other than shady deals, few innocent ones among them must serve as slaves before making money. |
Adelaide2: Taa, mechie gi onu. Prior to Igbos going to Lagos there was nothing of such in Igboland. And that happened many, many years before the civil war.Yorubaland was peaceful as morning dew before igbos invaded south west with series of money making tactics. Igbos are the one destroying the world, that is why you will definately see igbo people anywhere you go. Igbo people are the cause of the problems we are facing today. |
Adelaide2: This fake Igbo man should be killed ASAP before he brings the real Boko Haram to Igboland just like some Igbos in Lagos (SW) copied gbomogbomo (kidnapping for ritual killing), kidnapping (kidnapping for money), armed robbery and toutism from Yorubas into Igboland years ago.Igbo did not learn gbomogbomo stuff from yoruba, they actually grabbed the idea from the civil war and not only that, cannibalism, robbery, rape , money ritual and some other shady deals were part of the outcome of the civil war. |
Gboliwe: You haven't answered the question and please keep the insults at bay whenever you decide to quote me. I do not like this kind of display of immaturity on my person. Thank you.Whoever is not in jonathan's camp is your life time enemy. |
This bastard really needs to be lynched. |
Jonathan is just a mistake Nigerians make some years ago. |
kendrick93: danjuma is an 1diot.. see dis member of boko haram dey form lyk as if he doesn't knowMost of you guyz know nothing to next when it comes to Nigerian politics. Do you actually believe the same danjuma is a member of jonathan's commitee. |
atlwireles: War against the house of assembly in adamawa or cameroon? Please explain. You don't seem to understand politics, you just love to rant and goof around thread. |
atlwireles: Just one uppercut you are crying for separation? There is more to come where that came from. You people will learn some basic fundamentals of life, before this movie comes to an end..I pray you don't end with the movie. Impeaching nyako has called for war against the north. |
I will so much appreciate jonathan if he can make proper use of this almighty power to divide this failed country instead of using it to intimidate opposition parties. |
atlwireles: Why, are you tired of one nation under God. Tell your party to respect authority and it shall be well with them.It is a pity you guyz are blindfolded with dirty politics. I'm not a die-hard like most of you, we only clamouring for better Nigeria which pdp had failed woefully to give us, that is exactly why we need change and if that is not coming any time soon, i think it's high time we go our separate ways. |
This failed nation is due for disintegration. |
shizzle11: supporters of APC crying fowl since 1860.Cankerworms stealing vote since 1914. |
Shegman22: who tell u that, I was among people that shared PVC in osun state. stop d rumourTry harder. |
atlwireles: Hold a million elections in Adamawa and APC will not get 25% of the vote.Because 25 members of the house of assembly will be the one voting. See reasoning! |
Chigold101: plz my friend, how did INEC know those that are APC members or those that will vote for APC & dicifrenchiz them? Tell me. Cant u people use una head a little? This is what APC said when they lost Anambra election.Ignorance they say is not a sin. Inec tampered with opposition strongholds. What happened in anambra was a show of shame whil inec couldn't conduct election in just 1 day. |
