We lost about 3million people at the end of the civil war and we are still arguably the most successful tribe in Nigeria with a world population of about 60million people.

The last time we left Anioma's behind Nigerian terrorists(Army) went there and slaughtered at least one thousand of them in cold blood.

The last time we left igbos in Rivers state (Obigbo) behind, Wike(the ikwerres)declared a curfew and slaughtered them in there hundreds..

The last time we left igbos behind in Benue, the Fulani's went there and massacred them.

We have only anonymously decided to leave the ikwerre and Ogba behind because they both have bitten more than they can chew,but we must at least here from the rest through a referendum; so that we can sleep with a clear conscience when the roof comes crashing!!

6) In case of disintegration, it won't be into Biafran Vs Nigeria but division into at least 5-7 different smaller countries.

7) The Niger-Delta will form their own Republic. They have massive oil, iron ore, Seaport and huge population which can be used for bargaining with the developed world.
All they need is to sign a defense pact with the Vladimir Putins of this world to train their Military and supply them weapons.

Any Fulanis or Igbo that try to enter their territories to claim any land or wealth from their resources will know that he is commiting suicide.

I was surprised during NYSC seeing some of our supposedly Igbo corps members telling me that they aren't Igbos and one lady called Sandra was very mean to another 'igbo' lady called Mercy.

One evening, Mercy needed a little favour from me. Sandra told me not to grant her request and publicly embarrassed the poor lady. Later at night, I went to Sandra's room and tell her to apologise to her sister, Mercy for the ways she earlier embarrassed her, after all they are both Igbos.

To my surprise, Sandra cut me short and replied, Mercy is not Igbo!
I countered her by reminding her that she speaks Igbo with other Igbos and Sandra said that the fact that she speaks Igbo doesn't make her Igbo, that after all she speaks Yoruba as well and she is not Yoruba!

During my NYSC days,one of my friend a Kogi guy brought a lady to me and said "see your sister oo" ,after greeting her I was like where are you from and she said "Agbor" and she sheepishly said to me "Shee na we be the fake igbos now".

They have identity crisis as aided by Nigerian government and the likes of Ijaws...

They need us more than we need them that's why I'm happy for the level of sensitization going on, at least they will have no one to blame when the roof comes crashing when they are left behind.

what I believe will come out from the Niger delta region,should Nigeria divide are very small independent tribal nations. The ijaw in bayelsa and rivers,the Efik another nation, the ikwerres and some. other Igbo speaking but Benin originated tribes in pH will form another nation. Obigbo,asaba and some other Igbo groups aside the SE will join there brothers ,Benin another nation etc.
But this nations will form a business and political union similar to the EU

Niger Delta Republic is a good thing, but nobody is agitating for it. Its not easy agitating for a seperate country in Nigeria. The big tribes can do it, but its almost impossible for the smaller tribes because they dont have the numbers

In other to have a Niger Delta Republic, it means that Ijaw, Ibibio, Ogoja, Efik, Ogoni and the rest of them, must come together and simultaneously agitate for a separate state under one umbrella

To do this is going to be very difficult because nothing really brings them together.

What I predict will happen in the even of Nigeria breaking up is that as Oduduwa and Biafra prepare to leave Nigeria, the people who refere to themselves as 'Niger Delta' will scramble to leave with either of them. Binis and Itsekiris might opt to leave with Oduduwa. Ibibios and Ogoja might opt for Biafra

Overtime we have seen so many threads over "Niger Deltan republic" and how they should be left alone by Biafrans.

Even though it's obvious that most of those threads were created by northerners to cause confusion or spite the igbos, it's also important to reiterate that Biafrans has made it clear, that everyone who would be welcomed into its nation will be clearly based on Referendum...

However, I have few questions for the "Naija Deltan Crew", Please let's answer these questions without bias and shun insults...

1. IGBO LAND: knowing fully well that Igbo land exceeds South East and engulfs some part of south south and even minor parts of North Central how would a Niger Deltan Nation survive when the igbos take back it's territories (Anioma, Egbema, Obigbo, Igbo etche...) from Niger Delta?.

2. CAPITAL CITY : Where would the capital of Niger Delta Republic be knowing fully well that tribes like uhrobo, Ijaw, Benin... are all of same size and ego.

3. AFFILIATES : Will the Akwa/Cross choose a Niger Deltan Republic void of the igbos over Biafra?, giving the level of relationship,intermarriages and culture they and igbos share together?.

4. ROLE MODEL: Is there any personality in the entire naija Delta who is generally revered and can be accepted in Niger Delta by all(Urhobo,ijaw,ikwerre,Benin.) without bias or prejudice like Sunday Igboho or Nnamdi Kanu considering the level of supremacy war and tribalism in the region.

5. LONG RUN: What is the hope of "Niger Delta Republic" on the long run when oil phases out in less than a decade from now, knowing fully well that it's solely an oil dependant economy; Mind you the gas giant of the nation is IGBO Land and Gas is the future.

6.VALUE: Of what value is the Naija Delta to Igbos if igbos can get access to the sea through (Azumini)or better still align with Cross Riverians who also have no oil nor gas but at least have access to the sea which Igbo's need and Niger Deltans don't (remember People will always choose to stay where they are celebrated than tolerated).

7. ACTION: And finally, why are the Niger Deltans not agitating yet, nor have at least a Map that would show it's territories to the world?, and why is the likes of Asari Dokubo (Niger Deltan warrior) still referring to himself as a Biafran?.

We all know that Niger Delta Republic is a mirage and certainly not feasible...
