My People, I am seeking advice. I use MBC securities and up until last year, I've never had any issues, despite having been through 4 account officers ( who leave fro one reason or another) and now the fourth one is becoming a real trial. I bought several POs & IPOs thru them and everyone else is getting feedback on returned monies and allotment. I have asked my current officer if there is any feedback and he gives me the impression it isnt his work, one and two the registrar will get back to the individuals directly, I truly dont know what to believe. PLEASE, Is there anyone else who uses them and has a reasonable contact?. my email is d328babe@yahoo.com. thank you. |

@ MONEYBAG Oh please, not this crap again Women are supposed to be the custodian of decency, honor and dignity, blah blah blah. . . Everyone is supposed to be the custodian of decency, honor and dignity, whether male or female. If the brother-in-law is any decent, he should have run for his life -- afterall we have the same example with Joseph in the same bible you're quoting from. And as for the woman caught in the act of adultery, go read into the history of that, and you'll see that the reason the man wasn't caught is because he ran AWAY. So please don't come here and post blab suggesting that women ought to know better -- this is the NONSENSE that our forefathers taught to accommodate their indiscretions while at the same time aiming to keep their wives from towing the line of adultery. We ALL ought to know better than to perpetrate that crap!
The only aspect of your post that I really like is the part where you say marriage should be honorable and the marriage bed undefiled -- That implicitly applies to everyone who is married, whether male or female. Tell it like it is! |

suze: I don't see anything wrong in a working class girl going to clubs,
I am working class and i attend clubs. And i see alot of my working class people there both males and females.I love dancing a lot and I like to unwind on some fridays after work. But I'm choosy about the clubs i go too though. And it depends on the way u carry yourself and the kind of clubs one goes to before a girl can be thot of as a prostitute. There are some clubs i would never go to. I don't want to mention names
But when i go to clubs, its either i'm with a guy or a group of friends. I never go alone. If you go to soul lounge on a wednesday, its mostly working class people that are there. Both males and females.
Soul lounge, slicks bar, jazz ville, coconut groove, saipan, bacchus, swe bar are all o.k to me.
If i go to bacchus, i go to the lounge upstairs Suze, You're in lagos, It's a different Ball game in phc, trust me, !! |

wanaj0: The Universal insurance private placement looks expensive to me!!!!!! The PE is out rageously high. You will not qualify for declaration for year 2007. Hence you may really be disadvantaged at the end of the day. Except there are material errors on the profit forecast, the PP is way too expensive by my reckoning. After the offer, there will be almost 14bn shares in issue and PAT is forecasted to be between N600m and N1.2bn over the next three years or so. @wanaj0 Please what are your thots on the FTN Cocoa Processors ltd?, |

Let your wife be and don't disturb her for she is heavily pregnant, and your here talking nonsence. I think A dog is better than you. Crossroads: Other issues are that in fact, I'll be earning about same amount in Nigeria (Oil Company) and with less tax while being able to save and invest more, some peeps are of the opinion that I should remain here for a couple of years, gain experience and return, what is the assurance of this? and most companies look for 5yrs experience and above, does this mean i will leave the next 5 years of my life in misery and confusion with no assurance of the future
I'm praying hard for guidance, Never been through stuff like this, please I'm in deep need for more advice and prayers, What will be my exit strategy? I'm gettiing deeper into the work and taking on more responsibilities every day, As you are clearl not happy, in the event that you cannot find a job in an enviroment with more Nigerians/Africans, and you want to come home, i would also suggest that you check the websites of all the oil majors in nigeria, i think i gathered you are an engineer (correct?) if that's the case it's better you come home into a comfortable job witha good company. The reason I say this is that if you have been this unhappy, take the time to plan for a job that will give you equitable pay and make for the frustrating times you have endured, from their websites, Chevron and Shell are actively recruting talented nigerians from abroad and will pay for ticket and shipment of personal effects, Dont rush back, take the time to plan and seek more information as you are doing now, |
