This silly ntel has no details about this LTE.. What band does it use even? There are different kinds of LTE, for instance my HTC m8 has different LTE bands and we need to know the variant of phones to buy.

That been said, i want you to know not all feature of the car is expected to be used when its in Nigeria.
But Parking sensor, Auto stop to avoid car crash, 0-65mph in <5secs, Speed monitoring, Auto-shade in Sunny hour, Front and Back Motor control and many more features will work flawlessly in Nigeria without the need of a map or navigation system.
Aside the auto pilot and navigation system that can't fully work in Nigeria (at the moment), what else can't work?

Also know that when it comes to solar system acquisition to power the PowerWall for car charging, anyone rich enough to acquire the 6.9m car should be able to spare some thousands of naira on panels.
The PowerWall is 6.4kw.
1000w = 1kw, Meaning 6.4kw is 6400w
230w panel costs <30k in Lagos

6400w/230w =28, Meaning 28 panel will dish out 6.4kw in an hour. (Though not feasible cos of short circuits)
Let's say we add 10 extra panels to make it 38 cos of short circuits.
38 of 230w panels x 30k each = 1.1m

Solar panels are getting cheaper and more higher power panels are been developed.
Who knows, before late 2017, we would have higher power panels that are less bulky.
And about 110-220voltage, if you are a Tesla fan, you should know its given the rating of 110-220v cos it doesn't ship to US alone. A model was still delivered to China last week. So the voltage thing is out of it.

For Engineers, Expect sharp Nigerians to always tap into any high pay emerging market.
I don't expect much of a fix though. Except you expecting the motors to have issue like normal fuel cars. Sir this is an electric car that uses some high grade motors. Our home fan don't get to have issue for years.

Common sense tells you that a car that has autopilot embedded within US maps and for U.S. Roads SHOULDN'T be used in Nigeria even if it CAN.
Common sense tells you a car that receives regular software updates for specific regions of the US shouldn't be used in Nigeria.the car can be programmed not to drive beyond a particular city..abi you want to help them build Nigerian maps with complete navigation option or you will use the car without the function? Solar charging for a Tesla? You may be joking sha..Oga, the charging panel alone will buy a Camry tiny light..it can be programmed to charge at off peak hours when electricity is cheap.and you will get a converter from 110v to 220v input abi.for a charger of about 1.2 million naira just because you want to use a Tesla...

They sell directly, not though dealers, meaning they do the servicing themselves, exclusively..charging stations cannot work in Nigeria pending our power problems.

When they do a major work on your car that will be time exhaustive,, they give you another one for the meantime..that cannot happen in Nigeria anytime soon.. It can work in country with social security and comprehensive mortgage options.

Try this, when ever it stalls, check for the missing component, is loss of spark, loss of injector pulse, in other words there must be three things for an engine to run, spark, fuel and compression, one of them is missing.

Car starts perfectly when cold but when hot,gives a hard start.also the car drives fine when hot until I apply my brakes long enough to bring the car to a stop ,then its stalls.

I have changed engine fuel pump,ignition coil system a
.in fact almost anything possible..

I think its a vacuum leak.there are some small hoses connect the injector body,exhaust regeneration valve, idle air control valve and air intake together which I have connected and reconnected ,all to no avail.

Please people help..kazeems are doing me strong thing.

At that point, they sent me an email claiming some 'fair use' policy and asking me to resubscribe if I wanted the speed. What nonsense? I've used internet in various countries. If it is unlimited, the terms are always clearly stated from the beginning.

I was so annoyed that I moved to MTN LTE which is way cheaper and almost as fast. I don't mind paying for good internet. But I don't want to be lied to. NCC ought to investigate Smile for that fraudulent plan.

hello friend. you have not been outside nigeria. even the almighty at&t throttles unlimited data after 5gb.
only the grandfathered plans in the US have full unlimited data
Smile does so and they stated it in their TOS under the fair usage policy which unfortunately you did not read ,else you wouldn't speak as such.

meanwhile I was throttled after using 35gb with the smile unlimited package.i think they're better than most of the competition only outmatched by spectra net
