The problem with Nigerians is that we constantly sacrifice our rights in other to seem 'big'. The OP has the right to refuse whoever she wants. It is up to her who she exposes her children to. How wld she even b sure that the woman is takin her drugs?

I have watched almost silently as thread after thread on nairaland addressed skin bleaching and the 'fair girl preference'. Just this evening I came across the TV show 'trisha' n today's topic was ' stop dating that white woman, we are black'

The first thing that came to my mind was that, if this was a white woman's talk show Africans would call them racist and create a storm on social media. However it's ok for us to tell black men who to date skin colour wise?

Also a lot of guys spend so much time bashing 'bleachers' on social media yet still admire and date these girls. N besides y should we tell ppl wt they can and cannot do with their skin?... white ppl tan, no one takes it as an affront to 'whiteness'. ( n no I dnt bleach, it takes way too much commitment)

I guess my point just is we have so many problems facing us as a people and as a race crime, corruption etc. Yet so much energy is spent debating race. If a person prefers white or fair ladies why is that so bad? Y can't we live and let live?
