I think the solution to this issue , is a simple question WHEN ? , delving into things like intent , due diligence, intent to mislead or deception will be either time consuming nor raise unnecessary issues . I think the best thing for us or what we should focus on is when ? Is he going to refund REEFE his money since he has already agreed to make a refund . And idyboyostic , this is a public forum , if you have access to the moderators or if you're one doesn't mean you are above others , deleting people's comments when they are well related to the thread and in my sincere opinion very logical , isn't right , if everyone decides to act like you and if we all have access to the moderators and start deleting your ads on items we deem too high , how are you gonna feel , let issues slide rather than compounding it with petty actions , nairaland isn't my dad's property neither is it yours it's a public forum , if you're not comfortable with the actions of others ignore , don't expect to reply and aggrieved person and the person to just shut up and swallow it . And jiji there are deals a lot cheaper than this page and moreoever the attitude of the deal hunters sometimes , abeg the extra 5k I'll be paying to a patronizing , sweet talking nice and polite albeit total stranger is worth it . Some deal hunters here act like jagaban for small 5k when una remove below typical market price but I respect those nice, polite and sincere deal hunters and resellers self. Jiji isn't as bad as y'all are painting it , let's just learn to ignore items we can't purchase , it gets infuriating but that's life , if it pains you too much ogbeni sub buy VPN and face OfferUp . Idboyostic:I know I'm not supposed to quote you and say this , but if a person complains about your price and others uses it as the basis for an ANTI PRICE HIKE CAMPAIGN I'll implore you to reflect a little , you might be right and have all the reasons to sell your goods for such an item but just let the aggrieved persons vent their anger with someone else's goods . rather than recommending radical changes , that if there was a vote , maybe inflated prices might fall amongst said changes and you too will be a victim of your recommendations. Though everybody wouldn't admit it but the truth is , this is the one page where we come looking for affordable prices for all tech related items . It's the norm here and sorta the tradion , though it's not in any constitution but we've come to recognize and accept it as the way things are done here , I can bet you that if you take a dive at older pages , you'll see instances where a lot of persons has made fun of people who come here ( newbies ) posting ads for extortionate prices . I'll implore everyone to sell your items and make as much profits as you possibly can but don't feel offended if anyone calls you out for selling things at outrageous prices . It's not everybody that would be patient to ask questions about how you sourced for the deal , though you're not entitled to share , but just learn to ignore and focus on your sales. The truth is the prices here , most of them are pretty expensive , but not all , I see people selling TLC iPhone 11 for 160-175k to me that's fair 11 proax around 250k + that's equally fair Factoring the rise in the dollar . But damn right some of the ain deals here are downright extortionate. Especially those AIN DEALS And it's been for a while now I remember wanting to buy apple watch series 3 everybody here unanimously had the price for 75k But I bought same thing in probably better condition for 60k with two straps as bonus @ Robinson plaza . I really don't care how high anybody raises his prices , Because no one can compel me to buy anything but defending said prices could be annoying to the buyer who deems or may likely be assuming his being ripped off. This is the issue with vouches is it's quite deceptive , personally, I've never asked for vouches because it could be easily manipulated , as evident in the case of that qualitygod and that demented bastard , who claimed he had his own picker . My opinion , if you're interested in securing a deal , you're permitted to ask for a vouch , especially if the picker is not responsive , or if the deal seems unreal or too looks suspicious . But I don't think it's fair for a recognized seller , to just ask for vouch for a deal when be has no intent on securing the deal , unless he's doing it for the benefit of others which can be argued as literal ( I T K ) depends on where you stand on the divide . Conclusively my recommendation ( not mandatory) if you're interested in securing a tlc deal from a relatively unknown D.hunter , I think it's best you first ask the picker , check his thread if the item was mentioned to be picked for said person , and if there's a delay in response from the picker , you can come here and ask for vouches .
