Dear Team,
I am a Nigerian Graduate in History and International Relations, currently working in the bank. This year I want to exit the shores of Nigeria, please someone should avail me SAMPLED SHARP C.V for Masters admission and Motivation Letter;would love to compare it with mine..I MUST LEAVE NIG THIS YEAR.....You can send the samples to : chinezerem@gmail.com
MANY THANKS

Same course I read tho am almost concluding my application but there is no big deal in CV and motivational letter, but if the school request that your CV must be in a tabular form you can check out their Ambassador's (German Ambassador to Nigeria) profile and probably use that format because' it seems that's the format they use in their country.

For ML writing the school ain't expecting much from you but just to be concise in your writing.

The motivation statement or letter should be
written freely, in your way, simply to explain to them why you are interested in the program in view of your academic and professional background and your future plans a head, and why you chose the particular program and still include your reason for choosing Germany as against the UK, USA, Canada, Australia e.t.c

Thank God it's still alive and well. I remember many of us promising then to come back here to give account of our journey in Germany, hopefully someone can pick one or two things. Honestly, I do not know anything about visa application procedure anymore, so I'm not the best person to advise on that. I was here in 2014, when I was planning to move to Europe and I found this beautiful thread. I moved to Germany in 2015 and I've been there since. One thing I am going to tell the new guys here is, please do not choose just any course of study all because you want to leave Nigeria. The money you'll be spending is too much for you to graduate with a degree that's not so much in demand in Germany. Germany is a beautiful land of many opportunities if you are ready to tap into it. I know not everyone can be in IT, or engineering but at least research well about the job opportunities of your desired course. Another important point is, please attend Goethe institute to get at least A2, or best case B1 German. Once you can speak good German, I can assure you that even during your studies, you may not wash dishes or do shitty jobs (pardon my lamguage). My point is LEARN THE LANGUAGE. I studied agricultural economics msc. And the thing is, many of the Nigerians in my set or those before me have either left Germany back to Nigeria or went somewhere else. Reason: they didn't get a job. I was lucky to get an internship in my first year of study to gain experience with a very big company here in Germany and that experience speaks alot for me. So another hint is, during your study try to apply for internships (you might be lucky coupled with the fact that you can speak German). In my case, I got only A1 which was not enough but I learned more here. Furthermore, after my studies, I got my first interview same month I graduated, and I tot life is so easy, it'll come in handy. That job didn't come. So I was sending cvs. The hard part now is from my first interview to another, it took several months and with a lot of rejection that got me depressed at one point. I was already putting leaving Germany as one of my options. Sometimes, I get 5 rejections in a day or even more. Mind you it has noting to do with grade. What else can be demoralizing than that? You see yourself as an Msc graduate doing all manners of jobs. I MEAN ALL MANNERS (legal though) of jobs just to keep busy and soul together. I got so depressed. Then I'm seeing my many colleagues (particularly those we came from Africa together) leaving Germany for other places. Somehow somehow, a light came at the end of the tunnel and I've been there since. One sweet thing is, once you get a job after study here, the time to get a permanent residence is shortened to 2 years. So it's nice to include. This was a promise I made back in 2015 because I felt people don't really come back here to say what they faced and how easy or difficult it was but here I am keeping that promise. So if you're a starter here, goodluck to you, God will pace way for everyone of us.

Thanks for paying your tithe bro...after Christ healed the lepers it was only one that return to give thanks and as you have find it worthy to remember us we all say thanks a million!!!

Good morning oo... please I got dis email from the school I applied to but I’m not clarified what they mean by certified copy.. please someone should help me explain... below is the email:

Résumé (curriculum vitae)
Certified copy of Bachelor's degree (translated into English or German)
Certified transcripts of records (translated into English or German)
Copy of TOEFL (minimum score: 550 - paper-based, 87 - internet-based, 213 - computer-based, institutional code: 7087) or IELTS (minimum score: 6.5) certificate (if you are not a native speaker of English) or certified letter from your university confirming the language of instruction for your bachelor's degree as English
Letter ANSWERING THE FOLLOWING QUESTIONS (1-2 PAGES):
Please state your post-MBA short and long term goals. How will the Offenburg MBA assist you to obtain these goals?
b) Describe a meaningful leadership experience, decision making challenge or managerial accomplishment.
c) How did this experience affect your professional and/or personal development?
Two letters of recommendation (only valid with signature and seal)
Proof of your entire work experience after completion of Bachelor's degree (only valid with signature and seal, minimum 2 years)

And also what do dey mean by “only valid with signature and seal” please I need clarification.

Only valid signature and seal implies the the person writing your recommendation letter for instance your lecturer or boss at work will sign the letter then put the departmental seal or company seal if it happen you get your letter from both your former lecturer and boss at work. Then for the certification of documents you will take your documents to German embassy tho you have to book online to get a date

To think Togolese have the luxury of choosing an appointment date. Even at this time.

Is it our population or the fact that our Covid-19 figures cannot be trusted?

NB: Don't even think of going there to apply. A friend told me it's just a waste of time and money if you are not a 'legal' residence. Everything is in French by the way.

What's the actual link to book for visa appointment date

Please, I want to know if it's wise and possible to apply for English proficiency stuff now and keep it till whenever one wants to start applying or must one procure one just before he starts applying to the schools?

If you have the money you can register for the English proficiency exam and keep the certificate pending when you're ready to start applying for school but mind you majority of the schools in Germany always ask fot tt

Guys this is very important, mind what you tweet especially on twitter a female doctor just lost the scholarship she won as a result of a thread she made about three years ago on twitter concerning the dangers of homosexuality. The Nigeria LGBTQ community tagged the Australian high commissioner to Nigeria and the embassy handle to the tweet, boom they bounce her (denied her visa) that she is not welcome in their country, and as it is now other embassies are taking note of what we tweet or discuss. Once again mind what you tweet or discuss online it might hurt you tomorrow.

The waiting game continues.

Lol, this category A stuff reminded me of our time in 2019.
The bulshit actually started from our set (winter 2019) .
I booked under category B but there was no invitation letter from the embassy for 2months ,others that booked under category A all got dates.
Actually during our time, second class upper could book under category A but there was a space to tick you have scholarship. I have second class upper but I didn't have scholarship, so it was very confusing for applicants. We were all afraid to choose category A because of that scholarship stuff, we thought it could be used to send us back.

After waiting for more weeks, I vex canceled my booking and rebooked under category A and even ticked that I had a scholarship while I didn't.
I got a date within one week and went for my interview.

I was prepared for the worst, I told myself, even if they send me back, e better than all these unending waiting.
I also came late that day due to traffic at Victoria Island and was the last person to be allowed in by Paulinus, may God bless that man for me.

When I entered the interview hall, I was trembling because I thought I would be sent back for booking under category A, the man just demanded for my documents and gave me something to fill,
Like play like play, interview started o o o o o.
After the interview, I quickly walked out of the embassy ignoring those guys asking for money before them go remember say na category A I book under.
4 weeks after my interview, I got the German visa a.k.a Visum.

One of my guys after hearing that I scaled through the interview stage also canceled his own application and rebooked under category A but was bounced back and was not interviewed for choosing wrong category, that was when I knew that German waka na per head.

I wish you guys the best in your application.
German is indeed a very good country to study and make money even as a student but be prepared to work very hard for everything you get.
It's a country that does not condone laziness.

Bro can I pm you

Hello guys, I have a question. I would soon be submitting my second application for a masters program, meaning that this is my second application.

How easy is it to get admission to school in Germany??, I'm thinking if it's worth it looking for a third school to apply to, which would definitely spend money for, and the money isn't there again. I have a good cgpa (4.00+), and an IELTS of 7.00, no GRE... I have been intentionally avoiding uni assist or any other application that demands me mailing my document

How difficult is it to get admission or do you guys think I should keep applying to more schools to have more options?? I'm open to suggestions

Bro don't give up you can apply as many school as you want, because' DanielHouston told us that he applied up to 27 schools but only one school gave him admission so I don't see the reason to restrain your self to few schools as long as you don't need uni-assist I'll encourage you to keep looking for ones you can apply via online.
Good luck as you continue...

MrAAA2:

There is no limitation or age barrier to education across the world. If the University admits you, it is your responsibility to meet student visa requirements as stated by the Embassy and it is the duty of the embassy to issue your visa. In addition, you should have a valid reason for the education gap (which is actually the major concern for the University, although the embassy also shows interest). Whatever reason for the gap is valid and should be well articulated in your motivation letter and Europass CV.
BTW, I graduated in 2009 and got admitted in Winter Semester for 2020/21.

Goodluck with it.

Thanks a million! Actually no other reason than finance but can I Pm you

Let me share something helpful, so you can calculate your CGPA yourself and compare it with the German grade

Thanks for the prompt response but I still have one question, like someone that graduated in 2009 and decide to enroll for masters in 2021 though because' of financial constraints. If I may ask is there any chance or possibility of getting visa though the school is ready to grant me admission but my fear is getting the visa.
