Dear ********

Due to the Corona pandemic and the associated difficulties, special regulations were made in the Bavarian Higher Education Law ("Bayerisches Hochschulgesetz"wink. Concerning these regulations in Art. 99 "Bayerisches Hochschulgesetz" to the standard dates and deadlines specified in the examination regulations, the summer semester 2021 is not be considered as regular semesters ("Fachsemester"wink. For students enrolled in the summer semester 2021, an individual standard period of study deviating from the standard period of study applies. The individual standard period of study corresponds to the standard period of study extended by one semester for each enrolled semester (SoSe 20, WiSe 20/21, SoSe 21). The F***s department of student affairs has informed us that deadlines have been adjusted accordingly in your academic procedures.

You should view all deadlines concerning examinations and master thesis via the Student Portal (under the "Exams" ("Prüfungen"wink tab, "Grade Sheet with Deadlines" ("Notenblatt mit Fristen"wink). Here, the "Corona semester" is taken into account in each case, so your study period should already be extended for one semester.

Our International Office has already informed us that it will continue to be difficult for students from Nigeria to obtain a visa in time for the winter semester 2021/2022. Therefore, at the next meeting of the Examination Board on 11th October, we can decide on a further extension for another semester.

Best regards,

Head of Examination Board

You are aware that Hochschule BRS is not a university in Bonn, right? Of the 3 campuses there's none in Bonn. Also the rural district (Kreis) where the main action happens(two campuses are located here) - Rhein-Sieg-Kreis is not even a part of Bonn but Cologne. FAU is Nuremberg-Erlangen. Erlangen is among the top 10 or even 5(if I remember correctly) cities in terms of economic opportunity and prosperity. Nuremberg is still the largest city in Bavaria after Munich the last time I checked. Let's not even get into the comparison of the two institutions. So I would rather that an international student be in a difficult top school(except they aren't ready to study of course) and have abounding opportunities than go to a village with less opportunities just because Bavarians have an attitude. Just thought you should have the above in mind. Just my two cents tho

Many thanks for your advise so far. The campus is Sankt Augustin. But the Sankt Augustin is it part of the rural district you referred to...

I study in Bavaria and will tell you don’t go to Erlangen. It’s not that big of a city and the unfriendliness of Bavaria will get to you. Bonn is a big city and very close to big cities like Cologne and Düsseldorf.

Also erlangen is a strict uni as I have professors who schooled there and I personally have done cross courses!

If its the issue of racism I don't have problem with that because' over here in Naija there are lots of racism especially when you're not from a particular region which I have experienced severally, and talking about strict school still don't have problem with that because' I passed thru lecturers that normally got angry if a student score ordinary C not to talk of scoring A or B in their course and they will even tell you that over their dead body you grad with first class or second class upper.
However, I'm asking to know the city that is more economically viable.

FAU wins both for university and city viability in almost every metric.

Probably I'll accept FAU admission and bounce Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg - University of Applied Sciences

Compatriots in Deutschland, as I'm about to take a decision I'll like to know between Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen-Nuremberg (FAU) and Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg - University of Applied Sciences. Between the two cities, which of them is more viable in terms of students job and less expensive accommodation.

Guy you be mumu. So arriving Munich now makes you a god or what? It is said that when you don't have anything upstairs to say it is better to keep shut than to keep fooling your self.

Sorry for the confusion bro, to put it simple, do I submit the original attestation of my waec, health test etc or do I make the attestation at high court and then make photocopies and submit those?

Bro your question is still confusing. There is no mentioning of anything health or medical test for German visa or are you applying for Canadian visa...

This is an email I received from one of the schools I applied.

In case you receive a mail asking you to pay semester fees. Please kindly ignore and waka pass.
Below is a warning from the school;

Dear students, dear prospective students, dear applicants,

we would like to draw your attention to the fact that there is an increasing number of spam mails in circulation, which seem to be aimed specifically at international students or prospective international students or applicants.
In these mails you are asked to pay semester fees.

Please do not react to such mails. Communication with our university takes place exclusively with the @oth-aw.de and @primuss.de addresses.
Please make other students or prospective students aware of this.

Hi bro, forsomeone interested in applying or submitting documents to multiple schools, do I make a photocopy of the attested school documents or do I make multiple photocopies and then make an attestation for each?

Also for the health and police report do I make copies of the actual report and then take each copy for attestation?

If I understand you well. The only attestation you will do is by submitting the school application form which you might have printed out after the online application. For instance, you want to apply to four or five different schools. You will print out all the application forms.

Then make photocopies of your documents for each school separately before going to the embassy for attestation

For police and health report, I have not heard about it for German visa or are you referring for Canadian visa?

Just gather enough money close to 15m and make sure you no carry any disease like HIV, gono, staph e.t.c because' if your lab test comes out and such disease is mentioned omo they will kick you out tho its only for student visa.

When you paid for the envelope say DHL for instance, the enveloped will be addressed to you (your own residence) and you take it along with you to the embassy on the day of your interview. The embassy will send your documents back to you using that same envelop. it is called prepaid because you already paid for it, and the embassy doesn't need to pay the couriers again.

See mindset bikonu...they don't want to spend any of their penny...

Kinda getting tired. An application I submitted since beginning of May is still on the stage where they said is valid tho the course is NC.

Those that encounter such procedure, how many weeks or months did it took your school to give their final approval and the subsequent letter or offer of admission.

Please guys, could guys advise me about sending my transcript from my I want to have a copy apart from the student copy.
I don't know the one uni-assist usually request for and I want to apply to schools in the US
The person I sent, my school is asking her where do I want to transfer it to.

So where is the right place I can transfer it to in other to have access to it whenever I needed it to apply to schools?

Very simple...look for someone that works in a big school or in a company.

In fact, in any private organization that is registered liaise with the person, then your school will send it direct to the school or company. The person you send should tell them you're requesting it for job purposes.

As soon as it reach the company or school you put their name and address they will call you to come and pick it but make sure the school is govt approved or the company in question is a limited or public liability company.

This comment i quoted is your write up on April 11th .. just after people were denied AD. Which you too claimed you applied too as a student..
Your write up didn't show any form of disappointment in what the embassy did.. you immediately started defending them. Shifting the blame on the students not being ready.
For the ones coming here new .. just know that this guy is not a student... becareful with whatever advice he is giving you and whatever information he is collecting from you . Becareful...
Why would someone who waited from September to April and finally got disappointed after AD was cancelled, be writing this on April 11th.
When others were disappointed and complaining.. this is the type of write up you posted on April 11th...

The only reason the embassy posted you here is to assist students with their questions to avoid sending unnecessary questions to them...
But you took it upon yourself to make sure students don't protest. Thinking its part of your job....

Anybody who has been here from lastyear who doesn't know you work for the embassy and not a student is not even smart enough to travel ....

Disrupting student protest isnot part of your job...
You were the only person who kept posting fake AD testimony for cat B... going online getting links and data to defend them...
If you too really applied and was denied interview in April... you won't have written this write up...
Do your job and stop getting inthe way of students that want to protest.

@OdogwuEkeke I still remember when I called you out on this issue tho you vehemently denied it. Both of you quarrel on this.

Could it be you have got some skeletons in your cupboard we don't know about?

Why is this issue coming up again?

On whose side are you, the students or the German authority (embassy)?

Attending the A1.1 lecture offered at my school was also a plus. I am still a beginner though, still learning.

1. Answer to your question is on the embassy website. It would give you a well-detailed explanation.

2. Nothing is impossible, it all depends on you. It took me about 5 months to know how to speak basics German. Name, numbers, direction, introducing myself, household items, form a simple sentence, greetings, directions, etc.

Yes bro, I had my 2 years in OND and 2 years in HND both in business administration. Do you mean I can apply directly with my 4 years knowledge in Business administration? Also are there no school I can apply without requesting IELTS? Thanks

Better you check out Daad and get proper infor from school websites. Although you have had a 2yrs each in OND and HND, they still expect you to undergo a solid 3 or 4 yrs course (6 to 8 semester). As for IELTS that one is a no go area as they will insist on applicants presenting but look like some do accept letters from school

Hello everyone in the house I greet you all. Please I need an urgent response on my enquiries.

I just finished my HND in Business Administration. Can I apply for direct masters in schools in Germany?

If is possible, please I need some list of schools that can offer admission with free tuition fees, and ielts. Thanks

You will enroll for a full 3 or 4 years degree course before embarking to Msc, but I'll advise you go for international business studies since you already have a background in Bus Admin though most of the schools requires IELTS at least from band 5.0.
