Mekanus:@Mekanus, since you have an account number provided by Payoneer linked to your non-US PayPal account, look into linking your Nigerian bank account to your Payoneer. I’d suggest contacting Payoneer CS if you couldn’t just connect it the normal way. I had no troubles linking mine back then. Merely added a bank account, and viola – I am in. Edit: I have had no luck linking PayPal with Payoneer, otherwise I’d give it a shot. |

samsard:Yup, you're right! Here is a screenshot of my “withdraw to local bank” page on Payoneer. The rate was between 350 and 355 the last time I used it. Takes roughly 48 hours for the credit to appear in your Nigerian bank. 1 Like

GrammarNazi1:It’s all about preference and the style guide you follow. In informal and general contexts, I see nothing wrong with “more happy,” although happier is preferable and not as wordy. So, it’s not necessarily an error. I have read best-selling books that have gone through all of three editing phases but employ “more” rather than “–er” in their narratives. And we natives would often switch between the two, depending on the mood or context. Talk about descriptive and prescriptive grammar. Grammar Nazis would generally have no problem with this construction, some linguists and most editors might. - Given, ESL students, non-native English speakers are taught to use –er and –est for comparatives and superlatives. |

GrammarNazi1: Compared to constructions, I’d say spelling mistakes are easier to spot. They stick out and are more basic. Yet, people don’t care about mastering their spellings and thus rely extensively on spellcheck—you inclusive it might seem. I’m surprised you didn’t spot the “despited” in the OP’s construction. [CQ: a preposition, portrayed as an intransitive verb--the verb variant of “despite” (which is non-standard) is a transitive verb, not intransitive.] Perhaps you care more about comments than the main article. Nonetheless, if you are genuinely poised to promote the use of grammar (not for show-off), I fancy you’d focus your "grammar comb" on Nairaland articles, most of which are cluttered with patent oversights. You see, unlike individual comments, they boast a broader reach. One would expect a Grammar Nazi to have long acknowledged this and be methodical. PS: Besides, I don’t know about you, but the phrase “sanctioned from NYSC,” among other constructions in this article, is cringe-making and flawed grammar. |

MaziOmenuko: Lol. He used a similar tactic with me. The truth is he’d keep trying until someone falls for his scam, then he’d continue with the ploy. Beats me how anyone would live on stolen funds and do so with a clear conscience. attached personal and group (escrow) chat. 1 Like

Just to re-inform the entire thread of a continuing fraudulent activity, this number, 08083022623, contacted me about two hours ago, trying to do "business." A quick search on the phone number, however, makes it a flagged scammer. Albeit whomever it was did not get the chance to scam me. He bolted when the escrow showed up. |

mrphysics: I did not receive it. Perhaps it was hurled to my spam box. Gmail filters can be too forward sometimes. I'd re-check when I get off and get back to you. For the other thing, a Euro-denominated MasterCard would be needed, right? |
Business / Re: EXCLUSIVE : How To Make Level 2 Seller On Fiverr In A Month As A Nigerian Seller by dablazor: 2:31pm On May 29, 2018 |
mrphysics: That is ingenious, although I believe you'd need to order a Euro-denominated Mastercard from Payoneer to use the feature. Am I right? PS. You stopped the email communication. I never heard back from you. |

Chrisvicmall:Do you offer that route? Sea shipping, that is. And what would be the rough estimate, cost-wise, for one. Also, the store dismantles the product for shipping so I reckon it wouldn't be that bulky since it would be shipped in parts: a flat board and leg cum drawer components. |
