anyone knows why I can't find my gig on the sellers page? I created 2 gigs between yesterday and today, but I can't find them on the sellers page, while under my gig options, they were indicated as 'active' I mean, outside the buyers request which is flooded with sellers posting their own request, how would my services be located by potential buyers? Please a pro should help out here. @beatzone @khass |

I recently just came across this thread some hours ago, and I am impressed. I am also a freelancer myself, but on a very platform; freelancer.com - I handle general writing gigs on there, but specifically, research, articles and content (re)writing..I squeeze in product descriptions, eBooks and poetry here and there. Having gone through the first 10pages of this thread, it does seem setting up and operating a fiverr account is way more complicated than that of freelancer.com I have a question though, although I make a decent part-time income from freelancer, I would like to know if there are more writing gigs and connects on fiverr than freelancer; the complex nature of fiverr makes it feel as though there is, am seriously considering expanding my expertise over there, honestly. |

Lol OP am tall but not as tall as you are, that's freaky tall, am handsome tall at 6'4 just 3 inches short of 6'5, my elder bro is like 6'7, my younger sister; more of a baby sister is 6ft tall. I do have some 6'9-10 cousins and they look freakish haha Do you enjoy being 6'9? you would always turn heads when you walk into a mall or in an airport and that could be awkward. As regards the pic you posted, try working out too, I did that for most of my teenage years (press up, squats and back crunch) and now it's barely obvious am tall unless you move closer, or when am standing in the midst of really short people. |
Health / Re: Please Help, I'm Growing Bald At 23 by dablazor: 5:25pm On Sep 14, 2016 |
A friend of mine during my undergraduate days started balding at about your age, the saving grace of it was that his beards grow fast, so he decided to go skin and keep his beards, side burns and all, he looked so good i wish i was bald with that much beards back then. Men mostly bald when there is high level of testosterone in their blood stream, this results in the production of DHT which blocks the hair follicles on the scalp and aids in the growth of beards. You could skin and let your beards grow, that way you might even look better and never have to worry about your looks and haircuts again. |

Romance / Re: Do you Believe In Love? by dablazor: 11:52pm On Sep 07, 2016 |
Toks2008, first, what is love? If you love someone based on some quality you like about them, does that mean it isn't love? How would you explain a mother's love for her kid? Isn't there a reason why a mother dotes and loves her child? And a father's love? Don't parents love their kid because its their kid and blood? Conditional and unconditional love are both love aren't they? Isn't there even a reason behind unconditional love? 2 Likes |
Religion / Re: The Ant Tale And Our Morality by dablazor: 8:10pm On Sep 07, 2016 |
Thanks for addressing this, I planned to address the ludicrous rationale by most theists comments on here; basing morality on some has to be a religion inclination by weekend when am less busy, with this your post there would be no need. Being moral and not despicable is quite personal and independent of religion, morals naturally differ man to man. There are despicable atheist, and there are upright ones just as there are good and bad people, atheistical morals differ one atheist to the other, and there isn't a ethical standard dogma. The way one is raised, the environment he/she grew up in, day in day out experiences, personal objectives, principles, modus operandi, parents, these factors and more define someone's morals, not religion, besides if the religious and theists play good because their religion demanded it of them, then they are being fake. There are bad and gravely immoral Christians and Muslims, and their are good ones, religion has no say in a person's nature as far as i am concerned. 1 Like |

Nairaland / General / Phcn Prepaid Meter Help by dablazor: 12:08pm On Aug 16, 2016 |
Good morning guys, I have a little query to make concerning the billing system of the phcn prepaid meter which am really unfamiliar with. I stay in a rented duplex apartment with a single neighbour who stays just downstairs, we share thesame electricity meter(prepaid). His work place is real close to one of the phcn offices in the metropolis so he is always in charge of recharging the meter. Here is the conundrum, roughly every five or six weeks we both contribute N5,000 each, making N10,000 to procure meter tokens. N10,000 worth of meter tokens always leave us with 413 units (not ballparking it) everytime, sometimes 411, but its always within the plus 3 and minus 3 range, and there is receipt proof for this procurement which he always show me, so mathematically, using this premise, we get about 41.3 units on a thousand Naira. Now this morning, a co-worker came into my office, luckily he was just returning from the phcn office and i saw his receipt, he procured N1,000 worth of prepaid tokens, and he received 61.15 units, and he claimed he always got this high number of units every month, perhaps 1 or 2 unit less on various occasions but never in the range of 41, not even close! Using his formula, we should be getting nothing less than 600units, and compared with what we are currently getting, that number is too high the discrepancy is too eloquent. I would have loved to drive downtown to one of the phcn offices to inquire about the discrepancies i just tabled but am kind of worked out and would leave work really late today and this week. I would like to know if am being cheated by my neighbour (who i really don't chat with, and which is highly unlikely since he always shows me the receipt) or by the prepaid meter token vendors at the phcn offices. Is there a reason my co-worker gets 61units on a thousand while we are getting 41? Or is it generally better to buy N1,000 worth of units at intervals rather than in bulk? NOTE: There are no outstanding debts on the meter, thanks. Lalasticlala, seun, pls help me out here |
