this is actually how i stumbled on coleman. for years all the ac installs i was involved in used some dodgy chinko/aba flex cable. at that point i did not know there was an alternative available locally, then we started having fires in the office with the acs as the point of origin. one of teh resolutions was to find a certifble cable as a replacement.i looked and i found coleman. we replaced all the chinko flex cables with coleman, and the fires stopped.

also, you measure the diameter of the entire core, not single strands

It is not just a claim, COLEMAN stopped the production of solid 4mm and 6mm cables mid to late 2015. by the end of that year most of the old production had been mopped up. We were supplied stranded only, throughout 2016. So unless a seller is claiming to somehow have an over 2 years old stock which is next to impossible, its a FAKE. If you've been buying solids, you know what it is.


Unless you intend to perform some type of laboratory test, I dont think there's much you can do under the circumstance.

There is no literature that even remotely suggests the use of carbon black found in bad engine oil for treatment of wood against termites.
The engine oil itself and kerosene wasn't considered due to their volatile nature.
The mixture may be effective for a limited period whilst the engine oil is still present in the wood but it definitely isn't feasible for an extended period of time.
However, boron compounds like borax or boric acid salts, both soluble white crystalline salts can be used effectively. There is a general consensus about its effectiveness.
The only limitation is that they can easily leach out when in contact with moisture. since it's going to be covered by roof, it would work unless the treated wood is left in rain.
A 1.5kg salt can be mixed in 10 litres water to give a 15% solution. it would partially dissolve but when heated to boiling, the solubility increases and it dissolves fully.
It's best to brush it over the wood in this hot state very generously so that much is absorbed deep into the wood.
When the temperature falls, it forms the crystals back, but by then, it's already inside the wood.
The borax messes up with the metabolism of the termites and they starve to death.

commercial grade wood protection products contain ethyl glycol that are much more toxic to humans.

A Naval officer has dragged his wife to court after infecting her with HIV and throwing her out of their matrimonial home.

PoliticsNGR gathered that the a Naval officer who is currently serving at Barrack Maintainance Unit, Port Harcourt by the name Lt. Cdr. Kazeem Owolabi Emiabata, deliberately infected his legally married wife, Titilayo with HIV and threw her out of their matrimonial home after she discovered his anti-retroviral drugs and medical records, which showed that he had been on treatment for a long period without disclosing his status to her.

She confronted him and later told her parents about her predicament when she got tested and her result came out positive.

Lt. Cdr. Emiabata threatened to deal with his now estranged wife if she exposed his HIV status [/b]and has vowed to use the Police and other means to "kill Titilayo before HIV/AIDS kills him". Making true his threat,

Titilayo was prosecuted by the Nigerian Police Force for [b]alleged "house breaking" and "stealing" because she went to pack her personal belongings out of their matrimonial home after she was sent out of their matrimonial home.

PoliticsNGR further learnt that the case titled "Commissioner of Police, Ogun State vs Mrs. Titilayo Emiabata" comes up tomorrow Thursday 21st September, 2017 by 9am at the Chief Magistrate Court in Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State presided over by Senior Magistrate E.O. Idowu.

The accused person (Mrs. Titilayo Emiabata, 30yrs) was earlier detained for four days and arraigned in court on the 24th of August, 2017 in Charge No. MAG/55C/2017 on a 10 count charge bothering on burglary, house breaking and stealing by the Nigeria Police Force, Ogun State Command.
