I hear they have discovered some particles that can travel much more than the speed of light , though its still in theory. those scientists working on the Hadron collider would tell us more. . well for me i believe the possibilities are endless as much as the universe is ...we would one day do time travel ,.....if we already haven't

I did 'design and fabrication of a food waste composter machine' as my first degree project. Normally it can be used to degrade all biodegradables but I had to narrow it down to the processing of foodwAstes. Anyone going into waste management and recyling should be prepared cause it has high initial cost. Pfrrr. Smooth? You're lucky to have a smooth running of WP10 preview on your device. I decided to enrol into the preview for the first time 24hrs ago using a spare L520 that had all along been doing fine on Lumia Demin. I chose the "slow ring". Downloaded a file as large as 950 mb and got it installed. Installation went well but to cut a long story short, every meaningful apps you can think about crashes. Music, OneDrive, facebook, calculator mail, store (can't sign into store or install apps cos it crashes out), CNN, Cortana, games, maps, MSFT edge, camera (green screen and crashes out), heck even some "settings" crash out once I try to launch "em. The only thing usable is the dial pad, even searching for contacts from "people" crash out - can you believe that?

Woulda rushed back to Denim but I'm just too tired or fed up to read thru the steps or even go thru the rigours of downgrading. More so the Airtel sim card inside it just got barred for "incomplete registration" this morning (been using this line since Econet wireless days for goodness sake and I had the ISSN transferred to a micro sim for use in the Lumia just a fortnight ago).

Windows 10 and Airtel just spoil today for me jare.

Agreed Windows phone OS has certain drawbacks, like background download on uc browser, lack of a proper file manager, Limited customization etc. But on the issue of apps, the gap between Windows phone and Android is gradually closing. All the major apps for every day usage are available. Lastly its all a matter of preference, don't insult people based on their choice of OS.

people who do basic operations are talking about a phone being sophisticated ..Really lumia is scrap.
I did a hard reset on a lumia phone then I had to download almost everything again even functions that should ordinarily be system apps.
you cannot get an app from third party sources even though you want it so bad.
lumia does not allow you download a mobile app on your system and dump on your memory card if you do that you just wasted your time.
you cant uninstall a system app using a lumia phone neither can you concert user apparently to system app cos u cant root a lumia phone. with my android I can listen to a song and download it using shazam or soundhound app without search any website . lumia does not allow Shazam download.
with my android I can save all my app data in my sd card 100% .

so apart from some basic operations android gives you freedom ...so why live in the prison of lumia?

Bro pls can u tell me the app that u use for scanning. I use a lumia too and I'm finding it difficult making a choice on which of the scanning apps to choose.

It depends on what you multitask.
Don't tell me you can run the same max number of apps at a time on your S2 man.
It can't happen!

The guy was comparing a 3GB ram phone with blazing processors to a 1GB ram phone with much inferior 3 year old processors with no true multitasking.
That is a sinful comparison.
It's enough to make hellfire!


Compare a 1520 and see how fast it is.

Nice Plastic build and it has good grip in hand. Windows phone is kinda boring, but I like the phone.

Before coming to Nigeria, I bought different colours of the back cover (black, blue & white), so i can change the way my phone looks everyday.

Main reanson i like the phone is because I have the LTE dual sim version, I use MTN and SMILE LTE (very fast).
