fittty: Suprise dem now dude. Why wait till 2013 ? No visible impact and u expect o performe magic by 2013

Do you plant corn today & it produce grains today? Dont u see improvements in d power sector? How was last general election adjudged? God help us to know who our problem is n who's deceiving us, than fighting the wrong ppl. God bless nigeria.

The truth in this is that we celebrate mediocrity, no thanks to our govt n its policies. Things are been turned upside down, societal values destroyed the righteous frustrated. Evidence of country without direction.

manchy7531: awolowo of all people the most reveren men in yoruba land becouse of his selfish enterest stood on the side of lies and deciet millions of peopel dead and chideren dead of hunger and deases.becouse of bread and butter he sold his conscience for devil it's a shame.did they make him president as they promise! today bakassi is no longer ours becouse of there propaganda and determination to wine the war by all means they won the war the oil they got it instead of this southern minorities to support igbo's for the good of all they allied with enemies of the nation and subject everybody as slave in our own land.the judgement is now befor God we shall see how the end will look like

. This is a pity, selfishness n myopic actions is wot has kept this country where it is today. God grant us deliverance pls.

geeez: quite agree with Dokubo that we should convene a Sovereign National Conference but my question is, how is the current National Assembly constituted? Won't the SNC also be congregated in the same manner the NASS is and what difference would their deliberations make.

I think what we need is a referendum where ordinary Nigerians would be able to determine issues that critically affect them.

There's no much difference b/w d NASS we have now n SNC afterall who n who 'll b the delegates 4d SNC?
Referendum is the key bro.

just as being stated by other posters, Africa's woes is from low esteem which brings what I may call achivement mediocrity. Though colonisation have its effects but we can overcome it, if we actually want. It's only in Africa or an african that if one achieved success by share intelligence and is rewarded, laziness of mind sets in & the first initial right idea dissappears. This arises 'cos no one asks where are u deviating to. Some1 said respect to elders which is fine, but must be constructive respect. For instance people like Gaddhafi, Mugabe, IBB, etc started very well but once being praised or a slight issue of mind test they derail. SOLUTION: we need to rise up n decide how to move forward n be ready to stick to it. It means we need to talk. Starting from our nation to the continent. If we can stand on issues without sentiments then we can be undivided then our solution is near at hand. But our problem is me n you, who has refused to put sentiments aside n tackle our problems headlong. Mind you nations are matching forward, see Ghana, South Africa, maybe Senegal now n if Nigeria can join, wat do ya think?. GOD bless Nigeria, GOD bless Africa

so, how do one go about this?

RIP to a legend with the strenght of lion. Love you bro.
