If the people want to stop it, they can.
It is just that some will compromise due to selfish benefits from the corrupt system.
People argue if juju exists.
Is this not clear evidence of jazz?
How can this sort of ridiculous discrepancy exist in salaries from the same PUBLIC pot and there are not riots on the streets?
No be juju be that??

lailo:
We are too emotional and sentimental in this country. Y'all shouting bogus allocation for lawmakers, what is the percentage of their money in our national income to what workers are taking every month? You can't even compare the ratio. Political office holders throughout the country don't even make up to 3 percent of total government workers in the country. Only heavy workers wages can sink the country into unrecoverable debt and total collapse, politicians take home is too megre to achieve similar purpose. Criticise wisely fellow compatriots undecided
grandstar:
That is what Nigerians fail to understand. They prefer to die with emotions than live with facts.

I won't be surprised if a 10k increase in wages is more than the total of NASS budget.

My cousin angered me so much yesterday. He said NLC should also look into the hike in electricity tariff.

I have explained to him that the Discos and Gencos can not cover operational cost as the tariffs are not cost reflective. It does not cover their costs.

I said asked if the power providers can't cover their cost of operations, how will they provide electricity? From his silence, I knew I had gotten nowhere, despite him seemingly know
ing I spoke facts. They don't care.
If French common men had anything like this mindset the French revolution would never even come close to occurring!

Make a huge signboard of something that is not even correct? Accomodation allowance says 30% of basic salary. Tell me how 30% of 2.5 million is almost 5 million. Most of the figures there are not correct.
See another one, focusing on minutae instead of the big picture. An obvious typo and the only one there, is all you're focused on. Which other mistake do you see there??
It's people like you that put a damper on any budding resistance or revolution!

Even the hazardous allowance of one senator is higher than the labours minimum wage demand aside their ₦30million jumbo salary.
See it below in black and white. It beats me why people are not rioting on the streets behind this.
Labour should make huge signboards of this screenshot and put them at strategic locations

yes, they will surely get it cos’ they are much United, they planned well and also not backing down at all. It’s the Fg that will be tired to save face niii
But they better be wary and united. A natural thug like BAT can easily blackmail, bribe, threaten, or thuggishly intimidate individuals

they will accept it with too much pressures from Nlc and Nigeria masses. You can see the emergency meeting they quickly organised with the workers unions here. The real negotiation will start from 100k and above. The current Nlc and Tuc means business and they are fighting the war with the Fg well.
Pressure from the masses. Very important. Because a natural crook like BAT can easily blackmail, bribe, or thuggishly intimidate individual labour leaders

yes, the current Nlc understand the game well. They are never backdown, they are much United to demands the new minimum wage from the government
Abd they'll get it. I'll bet they'll get at least 100K

Nlc will never accept 70k. The real negotiation will start from 100k upward. As it stands, NLC 1 FG 0. Let’s keep our fingers crossed
Labour should make HUGE sign boards of the screenshot below, and mount them at strategic locations in Nigeria.
Shame no go let FG refuse 100K and above

That's why you don't press too hard. FG will offer about 100K, which Labour will accept though they want 495K, bearing in mind that some states find it difficult paying 30K!

Power belongs to the people

If NLC will not compromise and ensure the expenses of Senators and HOR members are cut, to improve the living standards of civil servants and the ordinary Nigerians, things will change
If power truly belongs to the people, the screenshot below will not be possible.
The people will put those thieves on trial and execute them all, alá French revolution

These wicked souls will not implement any wage. I am sure higher than 60k could mean 61k, 60,500, 60,200, etc….
And Labour won't agree. Then what?

Why are you people so parochial, narrow-minded, nepotistic, tribalistic, and racist?? Whatever happened to MERIT??
The anthem was chosen by NIGERIANS after WORLD-WIDE competition, and it shows!!

The disparities are unjust and inhuman! angry
Take a look at the breakdown of the senators' monthly emoluments. I'm more incensed by item 13, 'leave allowance', If these figures are true, it means they are paid 8 times the wage of the "downtrodden" for doing absolutely nothing!! huh
It's AMAZING that this is public knowledge YET there is NO RIOTS ON THE STREETS!!!
We ought chase the thieves down and lynch them!

Oluwole, Tinubu lost Lagos by a landslide despite all the intimidations, riggings, ballot snatchings, and threats; yet he won other West. Why do you think that is, Mr. Tokunbo?

That's why obi is not president
Most Lagosians were not voting for Obi, they were voting AGAINST Tinubu and would have voted anybody running against him. They were trying to send a message - "we don't like this man, neither do we like Atiku!"

That is where your people called obidients Bleep up big time. Do u think those votes from Lagos is from igbos only, many thousands of Yoruba youths esp Christians voted for obi not because he is an igbo man but because they thought he has a better profile and non tribal, the election loss exposed the real intents behind the manipulation. It opened their eyes to the fakeness of obi.
And while did u keep saying the election was rigged , u people must have rigged Lagos or Tinubu actually won the election!
Most Lagosians actually voted AGAINST Tibunu and would have voted ANYBODY running against him. He was simply HATED in Lagos
