Nigeria doesn't work like that. We do what is expedient. Example, Apki case. They did the right thing. Another example, that guy sentenced to life imprisonment. Life imprisonment for sleeping with ex-wife's 16 year old! The appeals court overturned it (though he clearly did it).
So, just bear in mind that if you post all over the internet that an innocent guy is a pedophile who slept with your 5-year-old niece, you'd be arrested in Nigeria, criminal case or not.
