I am very hurt. My wedding was supposed to take place last Saturday but it was called off without any explanation.

I met my man through my mother’s friend based aboard three years ago. We had our marriage introduction 2016 and we planned the wedding for April 2017 but sister was like we should postpone it reason is that for the brother to come down to Nigeria that the UK embassy don’t take absent of a spouse because they wanted to do it in his absent.

He begged me to wait that I should please bear with him it was not easy for me because already I have told people about my wedding and the date.

My ex has four sisters and they are kind of very close so involved them in everything he wants to do which I don’t have problem with that.His mum accepted me and me I love her took care of her like my mother even the sister who is out of marriage is staying with her mum with four children I love her too.

Fast forward to when the date was pick which is 25 of August that we started having issues.

It was his sisters that shopped for my wedding things which I complain that I don’t like the color ,they said the list I gave them was too expensive which is the hall and food ,I got a hall of #160 they got a hall of #300k near their house not even the bride side I never complain ,they said after the wedding I will stay with mother in law and sister which I said no due to distance and the nature of my work.

The worst of all that happened is that my ex was telling his sisters every thing we discussed both the argument and my chat he was forwarding it to them. His sister in Nigeria was telling them all manners of lies against me and they believed her.

They put pressure and fear on him not to marry me he has to call off the wedding after buying things for the wedding. He is around in Nigeria now and I try to see him but his family are refusing me seeing him because I don’t have his Nigeria ‘s no.

I was told that he said he love me but he scared based on what they told him. That I am not a wife material. That I will control him and drive him out because he stays in US.

My mother has been begging them but they refuse to listen.
He even blocked me since then. His cousin told me they already found another girl for him.

What do I do,I dated this guy for three years. I love him. I already have done introduction. Everybody knows I am supposed to be getting married. The scandal is killing my parents.If this guy still loves me,how do I win him back? He never gave a chance to explain myself. What did I do wrong?

Or should I really move on? After three years? Where do I start from?

The family of Ejeh is in serious pains after experiencing a fire outbreak believed to have been caused by adulterated kerosene in Anambra state. It was gathered that a stove in the kitchen (apparently filled with the adulterated kerosene) - exploded just like that and caught fire before spreading to other parts of the house.

The woman and her four out of five children including a new baby - were burnt in the process. Some of the children were badly burnt beyond recognition in the unfortunate mishap.

The children and their mother are currently in the hospital. 

Meanwhile, the federal government has been urged to set up agencies that supervise the distribution of kerosene to mop up the fake product from the market.

Moshood Salvador, the Lagos State PDP chairman has dumped the party for the All Progressives Congress(APC) and he said his exit marks the death of PDP in the state.

Salvador announced his defection on Monday while addressing his supporters in Lagos saying he took decision the because all his efforts to move the PDP in the state forward had been frustrated by some elements in the party.

He alleged that a former deputy national of the party, Chief Olabode George, had done everything possible to undermine the progress of the party in the state.

He said he could no longer labour in vain, adding that the national leadership of the party had done nothing to support or appreciate his efforts as PDP Chairman.

“When you have people or leadership that cannot give you encouragement to carry out your vision, you take it to another place where it will be appreciated. I am not happy that I am abandoning what I laboured for, but I have to move on with my supporters because I cannot continue to labour in vain.

Today, the chairman of PDP Board of Trustees called me on the defection and I told him to allow me consult with my people before feedback. The PDP National Chairman, Prince Uche Secondus also called me for the first time since my travails.

“He never called since I was put in jail on a cooked up murder charge; he called me today to ask why I want to defect. And I told him it is not possible for me to be in the same party with Bode George because he undermined all my efforts to reposition the party. He was doing all these things and the national leadership was allowing him, saying he is an elder. Bode George also cooked up things to put me in jail in the murder case of late Aborishade. Enough is enough. I am leaving the party with my supporters and I am taking them to APC where they would be recognised and appreciated” he said.

Salvador said he had since handed over the PDP structure to his deputy who would continue the affairs of the party. He said his exit meant that the PDP was dead in Lagos as he was moving with about 15,000 supporters, including party executive members at council and ward levels.

Salvador insisted that he was innocent in the murder case of Aborishade, saying all the things said about his involvement were all lies. He said he would stage a “show of strength” rally on Monday to show his former party that he was going to the APC with thousands of his followers.

Ladies should realise every disappointment is a blessing.
Not every guy u date Is your God's given husband. And that's the truth. If your bf breaks up with u and marry another? Just be thanking God for not giving u the wrong man to marry. Likewsies guys too, if your gf breaks up with u? Simply thank God and move on.. Such lady is not your wife.
But humans will not understand how God works and the dynamics in ending up with your own rightful spouse.

The lady who is hospitalized will realise after some years down the lane, that God actually saved her from a miserable union with a man who is not her husband.
We shouldn't allow sentiments and emotions take over our reasoning. I know it's not easy going thru heartbreaks. But with the experience I had in the past, I realise afterwards my exs were not meant for me. None in the past was my true husband.
What we want and desire, may not be what's good for us on the long run. One could end up having a toxic marriage.
She should stop feeling sad, and broken. God truly saved her from marrying the wrong man. He was never hers, no matter how hard she tried.
Her own will come and it will be so easy and smooth. Her man will love her as she is, with all her supposedly flaws. That's the wonders of allowing God take control.

The man am with and married to, just came to me effortlessly, he was even more enthusiastic than me in the relationship. His enthusiasm and trust he had on me, gave me the strength to fall in love and trust again. He proposed after 4 months of dating and we got married on the 6month. We were on the verge of breaking through financially when it happened , and money, love and marriage came simultaneously, without anyone feeling the other is a leech.

So ladies just thank God, if your bf marries another. But also pray your own will locate u wherever u are and focus on making yourself better financially and other wise.

he proposed after only 4months and got married on the 6th month? your church no dey do marriage counseling?? for normal churches, the procedure is to inform the church at least 6months before the wedding, so as to start marriage classes. Just say the guy give u belle, una come rush marry, don't come Here sounding like u married an angel. just keep quiet and enjoy ur arranged forced marriage.

Federal housing estate. it's an entirely different experience from the scam called private estates. however, what I said above about a group of intending landlords raising money to buy directly from the villagers is becoming the norm here. most people are drawn to private estates due to the packaging but the truth is that those estates are just bushes bought from the villagers by the estate agents. groups of intending landlords can do the same.

ofcoure I wasnt referring to federal estates like festac, GRAs, I'm talking about all these private estates stringing up on a daily basis with talks of "become a landlord with 5k a month" they are scams.

they exist because many people love been elitist, if you really want to live in a planned estate, form a group be it a church group, committee of friends, old boys association etc. go and buy the land directly from the villagers and each person would get his personal land document so he can sell or get a certificate of occupancy at his wish. Here in Anambra, it usually saves you money in the long run because you settle all traditional requirements like igbu ewu ani once and for all. that's the best way to live in an estate.

Mine was 7 years ago when I was at my grandmothers place. My uncles wife had just giving birth to a baby girl few months back and the baby's name was almost similar to mine well I never saw anything special about it till the day they came to visit my grandma with the baby.

While some of us were seated at the parlour something strange and miraculous happened, I was sitting in a chair opposite the one the mum and the baby was, I don't know why but I was just feeling angry like I didn't want to take part in anything going on that day like one part of my mind just wanted me to remain in that chair and do nothing which I was ready to do, few mins later the mum called me to come over to her side and see something like a sign her baby was making with her hands in my mind I was like wat is this rubbish so I hesitated at first so I just said let me go and see the stupid sign, as soon as I stepped up from that chair a stay bullet pierced through the roof of the house and hit the exact spot where my chest was positioned on the chair, I was just standing there dumbfounded that's how I would've just fallen for the devils plan for me to sit there in anger and wait for my death when there were a Lotta things to do that day, well I thank God, there's been more miracles happening in my life since then but mouth nor go fit talk everything and hand nor go fit type am finish

How most politicans spend their 4 years in office.
Year 1: election victory celebration, they start with "first 100 days in office", then they move to "first 300 days in office". They will say they are trying to settle down.
Year 2: they start official office duties, small projects here and there, you'd actually start thinking "wow here comes our Savior", but all these projects and contracts are just to steal money and are usually uncompleted.
Year 3: this is the phase of blame games, they will notice the people are beginning to get impatient about the numerous promises and incomplete projects, then they start blaming past govts for the delay, they will blame just about anybody for their failures.
Year 4: preparation for next election, commissioning of the start of huge project that will need their coming to office again to complete.
They are all bastards....my advice is just get money from them and leave the country, cos after them their kids will take over and the circle will go on.

it's better to buy a regular land, and go the baale of the area, present hot drinks and tell him directly that u need a land. He will allocate one for u and den you do the necessary paper work and voila the land is your. After buying if u can't afford a full fence, do corner stones, make friends with the omoniles, give dem tips for drinks anytime u visit the land, den pay dem prior to foundation stage. Don't try to play smart by starting foundation before seeing them, nobody likes to feel cheated on. After foundation, the next payment is lintel and roofing stage. But if ure gonna deck the building, u will pay dem before decking, after the first decking no payments again till roofing. It's as easy as that. omonile are easy to handle if ure social and plan and honest, don't play smart with dem or they change it for u.

Whatever you do never buy any property in an estate, it's fraud, scam and worthless. In an estate, it's simply you own the building but the estate coy still owns the land. What will it profit you if u buy a plot of land in an estate, and instead of paying omo onile as it is on a regular land, they say pay for developmental fee. After that they force a house plan and specifications on you as if they will pay for d building you're about building. After completing the said building, you will den start paying estate development fee annually. To me that's BS. I'd rada carry my money and buy a regular land, pay omo onile and build a house of my choice, and hire street vigilante. Estate of nowadays are nothing but scam and extortion. fork them all.
