I'm sure you are talking of the ones that have always seen the State coffers as their personal purse, from where they get their monthly personal allawees as career lame-duck-seating politicians.
The message from Obaseki since the inception of his government has been simple and clear ' There's no State money to settle lazy idiots every month, the Lil money that accrues to the state will be used for infrastructural development of the State'. Na their quarrel start from.
You can imagine a State where Oshiomole handed an illiterate tout like Kabaka the entire Benin's transport revenue collection for the life of Oshios tenure such that the imp even celebrated his first #1B with a huge party. All these while Obaseki was part of the government in the economic team and you expect him not to know the loopholes to block when he gets into power?
Obaseki has simply refused to make it business as usual for them and I understand how it hurts them to no end.
Majority of the people in the State are solidly behind Obaseki, even Oshio and the Kabakas are beginning to realize this.
All the 1000 roads and schools plus personal University wey Oshiomole use State money build for front of him house wey the op the shout about dey make me laugh.
Kogi and Bayelsa has suddenly made Oshio a genius abi? Very laughable. |
Politics › Re: Obaseki Should Kiss APC Ticket Goodbye If Oshiomhole Delivers Kogi & Bayelsa by daddytime(m): 2:48pm On Nov 17, 2019*. Modified: 3:06pm On Nov 17, 2019 |
BlackAfrican: Obaseki will most likely not get APC ticket in Edo come 2020 if Oshiomole is able to deliver Kogi and Bayelsa.
Obaseki has not achieved up to 35% of what Oshiomole achieved in Edo state as governor yet Obaseki has been demonizing Oshiomole in the state and openly and secretly persecuting those whom he perceives as loyal to Oshiomole.
All through this political crisis in the state, Oshiomole has not responded to Obaseki except for when he pointed out that the election for the house of assembly leadership wasn't done right and that the governor should issue a fresh proclamation and try to lobby for support so those who agree with him (Obaseki) can emerge.
Obaseki hasn't done this. He hasn't been able to lobby as should be the case in politics and democracy. Instead, he is using force and the power he has as governor to suspend elected LGA Chairpersons, sacking commissioners and other government appointees who dare not to support his dictatorial style while leaving infrastructure and development in the state to collapse.
Oshiomole constructed over 1000 roads as governor, built and renovated over 1000 schools across the state, built several hospitals, built a university, revitalised public transportation in the state and brought in several investors who set up companies that are actively functioning today.
Obaseki hasn't achieved half of the above yet he feels Oshiomole's advice or input isn't necessary in the state.
Obaseki is on a wrong path and except he makes a U-turn, he's definitely not getting the support of APC to continue running the affairs of the state, least he becomes another politician who will loot the state without remorse like the PDP days and use state power to silent anyone who questions him.
This is my humble submission. Kai Sponsored post for sure. Just shaking my head. |

izzou: I don't understand why people drive into a rider's compound
This was at a popular estate in Abuja (Citec). The caller never requested directly from her pinpoint pick up point. Just asked driver to drive into the estate and wait somewhere while a Nigerian guy drove her to meet him where he was parked and requested that he drove behind them. Long gist aha Both stories from the horses mouth but of course he couldn't tell me the second incident was with him. Very painful shiit |

I just heard how a young white woman was fronted as a rider to forcefully lure an Uber driver in Abuja into a house with about 5 guys in the guise of helping to load some stuffs into his car, and how some three able-bodied guys held another at gun point to a secluded area of Maitama, refusing to take nothing from him but too turns to defile the poor driver at gun point.
Things dey happen my people, stay vigilant and safe please. |

Of course we all know this too and are good with the Stockholm syndrome lifestyle.
An attempt to dare to be different or challenge the status quo would even attract hues and cries from the most unlikely of folks...your very own immediate family.

I really commend Uber and Bolt for this their awesome innovation.
It has really helped in solving unemployment amongst able youths to an extent, and also given some people the opportunity to be able to handle a car ever in their life.
Some people are able to steer a car today because of Uber and its a good thing. |

Some Nigerians are desperate to whitewash gej's image. The man that was so corrupt, money was flying out of the CBN like flies.
I'm sure someone will quote and say Buhari too is corrupt. Another deflection. If you take out time to just 'lerax', and read my comment slowly, you'd understand my attempt at word play. Lol Me, defend politicians not to talk of Nigerian politicians, na lie o |
