have you wondered why a team dominated by EPL players have never won an International tournament like the world cup or Euros?

The moment the great french team started becoming more EPL dominated was when they started falling

Yet, the likes of Suarez, CR7, Bale etc all moved abroad in mega bucks deals.

Why are foreign clubs willing to pay so much for EPL players??

Considering our ambitions this season, the Room for improvement you talked about must be balanced with the player's immediate contribution to the team. You yourself don talk am on numerous occasions say we need winger wey better pass them young, januzaj etc. I've never rated ashley young but with the lacklustre & uninspiring performances I have seen from Depay so far, Young seems to be a "world class" winger at the club & this even negates the purpose of the purchase in the 1st place.

In the last 18 months, the club has spent £230m- £250m on transfers alone. For me, this kinda money isn't "we are building for the future" kinda money. This is 2015 - heavy spending is done with the intention of getting immediate results. It's even a shame we can't even send jitters down the spines of opponents & be seen as title contenders despite spending this much.

We've had our fair share of achievements over the years to be patient AS LONG AS the route or pattern is discerning to the board & fans.

The sooner we abandon the "we are still trying to adjust to the post- fergie era" mentality, the better for us....

We are spending millions on transfer fees & wages primarily to win trophies & regain our status as a top -top club in Europe. Spending over £60m on two "kids" who apparently won't make any significant contribution to our lofty ambitions anytime soon sounds weird but we can only watch, hope & pray for a miracle.

Honestly, if we had collected the money in full, Person for just limit am to LVG's indecision but collecting part of the money + their own 2nd choice goalie and creating a potential goalkeeping issue like we had between 2001-2005??

The "we'll hold him till next season" antics was what you and some fans wanted and not Man Utd. Man Utd was willing to sell as long as Madrid met the valuation it placed on DDG. All these long wait was because Madrid was stingy and Man Utd refused to sell at anything less that his true value. So Madrid found out they can't have their way, they paid up today with Navas to smoothen the deal and Man Utd sold DDG. Great deal for someone who wouldn't play for us and would have gone for free next season. Bravo Woodward!!

Real Madrid decided to include their 2nd choice goalie for a price greater than what they paid to acquire his services (last time I checked, such a player's value shoulda reduced) and we rushed at the offer @ the last minute. What's the end result? We have two reserve goalies slugging it out for the starting berth at Oldtrafford.

It's a shame!!

4. Real feel they can get De Gea lower than that because if Man U don't sell he leaves on a free next year.

5. LvG is a stubborn mad man who benches De gea because he knows a time last the 'last hours' of the transfer window will come and it would be had for two spannish lovers to sustain the stand off.

6. Real decide to pay and Lvg says he wants Navas in the deal, real look at Navas and tell him. Dress up you are going to manchester to rep us there.

7. Deal done.

De Pay needs to be encouraged. He is a young player in a new league. He was frustrated and tired at the 60th minute mark. Same time Di Maria was getting tired.
