Has Nigeria ever played the kind of football we all want.

Even their wins are always shabby and not as a result of good dominating football
At least their last 2 matches with Cameroon were better, it seems as though they are regressing back to their former way of playing

We thought they were getting better, so many things wrong in this match, I don't even feel like watching again

Oh, that's right. I used the wrong word. I became indifferent to football and stopped caring about it. True. That's the accurate way of putting it.

Susano'o is the God of the sea and storms in Japanese Mythology. I heard about it first in Naruto.
That's all right,

Oh I didn't know, that's nice

Hmmm. Football. I hate football, and I don't know why. I stopped watching and playing it immediately I entered senior school. Why I did that is still a mystery.

I'm perfectly okay. It is bucketing down over here. It's a serious cloudburst. Susano'o must be angry. undecided
I'm watching the match now, I only care Nigerian matches, lol,
Why the hate? Hate is a strong feeling, or are you just indifferent?

Susano must be your female sango right? Lol.

Lol. Yes o. I was looking for the world view that could explain existence in a way that would satisfy my quest for answers - that would give an unarguable answer that makes perfect sense. I haven't found any that is convincing enough. It's all been speculations and imaginative romance with philosophy and metaphysics.

Maybe the answer to "Life, the Universe and Everything" is "42", like Douglas Adams said in Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. grin

Why do we need to have and worship a God?
Not

AlmiqhteeAllah:
I've gone through the OP. I agree with him. If it's true that America is planning to establish a Military Base in Niger Rebuplic, then Africans shouldn't allow it. America's ember is dying and it's hegemony is close to being eclipsed on the world stage. Extending it to Africa can only be seen as a desperate attempt to preserve that power.

American Military Bases should not be tolerated in our vicinities. You can't trust America. I agree with the OP.
I agree also,

Jakumo:
You make the interesting presumption that I reside in Nigeria, and that I would object to your characterization of Nigeria. Be my guest with this speculation, good sir, and I am certainly appreciative of the time it must have taken you to arrive at these conclusions.

Be that as it may, any nation that conducts public be-headings by sword in the year 2017, on the most sacred day of the religious week by some accounts, is indeed a retrogressive, dictatorial, barbaric and sadistic construct that abhors natural justice, in addition to being a place where THE most repressive and gratuitously cruel variant of misogyny is elevated to the status of state policy.

The fact that successive Saudi leaders do NOT represent the electoral will of the people, but rather assume political power via the back-door expedience of inherited lineage statutorily confined to a specific "Royal Family", places that desert kingdom in the dubious company of such rouge nations as North Korea, but for the saving grace of Saudi Arabia's soon-to-be obsolete fossil-fuel reserves.

While some may rejoice over this news that Saudi women are permitted to drive a car, it is pertinent to bear in mind there still exist those myriad OTHER Saudi religious laws that prevent women from patronizing male medical doctors EVEN in emergency situations, that forbid women from venturing outdoors without the "adult supervision" of a chaperoning male blood relative, and that confine women to wearing stiflingly hot and uncomfortable funeral-black gowns in the midday sun that relentlessly burns down in some of the hottest geographical regions on earth.

Finally, if you good folks residing in Saudi Arabia STILL feel convinced that your culture is so vastly superior to all else in the rest of the world, DESPITE the above-listed draconian 17th Century Saudi edicts relegating women to a social status ranking that is subordinate to livestock, then at least desist from continuously patronizing all those sinful infidel call-girls that you RELIGIOUSLY visit every summer in London's West End, in what many regard as a holy pilgrimage in its own right.

Given the inherent moral high-ground retained for centuries by all-conquering, saber-wielding horseback desert warriors like your good self, one would naturally expect that a home-inbred Saudi Black Moving Object in FULL Batman burkah, would be far more sexually alluring AND morally compatible, when it comes to the sublime pleasures of sharing carnal knowledge, than the busty, miniskirt-wearing escorts y'all seem to favor when you hit the town in Londonistan. Not to worry though, I repose confidence that you can easily dredge up yet more rambling quotations from the Holy Book, to justify ALL that you see as right.

Have a good day sir. I trust that this Friday's public decapitations by curved sword in the Desert Kingdom will prove to be entertaining as ever, and also kindly extend my warmest regards to your nine wives, 17 concubines, and 52 children.
Nice

AlmiqhteeAllah see this.
Christianity Etc › Re: Where Was God??? by Daeylar(f): 2:08pm On Oct 07, 2017
AlmiqhteeAllah:
True. Islam is worse! But, in the end, both religions are extraordinarily nonsensical. The entirety of Abrahamism is morally and intellectually OFFENSIVE.

I was raised a Muslim. My parents' marriage is a result of inter-religious conjugality. My dad is a Muslim [although, not an extremely committed one] and my mum a Christian. I denounced Islam at 14 years of age when I discovered how nauseating it was, and dropped out of Islamic school. I became immersed in Christianity, Catholic theology and Wesleyanism [I admired John Wesley as a General in the Lord's Army] before I eventually snapped and denounced Abrahamism whole-sale two years later.

I've studied many other world views and remained an atheist ever since. This is my fourth year as an atheist.
Lol. I started doing the maths trying to guess your age, I'm not saying you should tell me.

What other views did you study?
I don't even understand why there has to be the idea of a God in the first place,

He really needs help. He said the 180 million members of his family would prefer such a society to civilized Nigeria. I wonder where they hide that they've never counted in our national census? Must be some hell hole as primitive and nauseating as the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. undecided

I think he is sees the wealth, extreme wealth some of them have.

You take life too seriously. Calm down and breathe.

Even my name is overused and common in my tribe.
[b] If i enter a gathering of my tribe people and someone calls my name, I am sure 100 of us will turn. There are names like that have been recycled over the years.
It is not a tribal war. So many new names...people are creative with names.
Keep your condescension to yourself dear kiss

That's how tribal wars start here, you'll see a beautiful thread, rush in, only to see this tribe vs that tribe, not a single reasonable comment,

Anyways I'm done

Why can't you respect the tribe?
At least respect the thread, Simple thread, Nigerian names you love so much, a very peaceful thread.
You decided to come and antagonize people

Imagine the rudeness to insult a tribes names and call it old and overused, even say they should form new names. if someone replies you in kind now this thread will degenerate to a bashing fest.

That's how you guys start tribal wars on innocent threads.

You do not need values and principles to gain the West's approval. As long as you comply and do not threaten their interests [which has NOTHING to do with values, morals and principles], you're good to go. That shouldn't be a surprise.

That's ISLAM for you! It is the most sexist and misogynistic of the three Abrahamic abominations.

The chances of women in Islamic countries winning rape cases are effectively zero. Islam tells us that the testimony of one man in court is worth that of TWO WOMEN. Way to go.
They will soon come for you,
