How can u say bayley is weak cos alexa is winning her now.. uve forgotten how she dethroned Charlotte or how she dominated nxt....

U sef as a guy wont last two minutes in the ring with bayley she will break ur back
I confess I was one of the people that had forgotten when she was beating Charlotte, they just make her look so weak to Alexa, at least let her kick out once, just once, Alexa can still win the match but at least. Lol

Is this not the more reason why this aspect of our history should be discussed? If it causes you so much pain just reading it, how about the Asaba people who were the victims?
The ONLY way victims of genocide can ever heal and perhaps forgive is if there is an open discussion on the issue and an open acknowledgement of mistakes and wrongdoing. Many countries have adopted this approach in bringing healing and closure to their population. Examples include Rwanda, South Africa and Europe after WW11.
So I ask again why do u really think Nigeria should not address the pains of the civil war? Are we afraid of the truth? No wonder Nigerian history is not taught in schools. Until we as a nation are bold enough to address this issue, the anger and perhaps hatred will continue, sometimes buried underneath the skin and resurfaces at the slightest reminder or provocation
Don't mind the guy, it too bad for him. who is he?
A tribe wants to talk about a massacre that was done to them and he is desperately trying to make himself relevant

The fact that he has mingled with Igbos and is dating an Igbo girl and lives in aba doesn't necessary mean he likes Igbos
The same way a white person dating a black person doesn't mean they can't be or are not racist.

Daddy, when I grow up, I want to be a Pastor. I want to be full of the Holy Spirit, and Power. I want to be a great man of God.

And now you're all grown up. You're now an Assistant Pastor. By the grace of hardwork, if you align your spirit and your gifts well, you will be a regional pastor in a few years. The higher you climb, the richer your audience. You desire the prayer points of the Elite.. Prayer points like winning elections and contracts.. Not those other ones.

You see, the Church is the Business of God, and the Man of God is its CEO. To him you will make refunds. He will be your spiritual daddy, Daddy GO.

Does this look like man-worship? No na, man-worship is when you worship a man and never question him.. When you believe all He says is true. When you pay a man for God's miracles. When you celebrate his birthday, and the day God delivered a special messsge to him.. You should reserve that role for Jesus.. May no man claim to be God.

What you're doing isn't man worship. God instructs us to obey our elders; those who are ahead in the ministry. By the blood of the lamb who was slain for your sins, they have been appointed to keep watch over you until the return of the Lamb.

We are all God's children; some have only become Apostles, Evangelists, Senior Evangelists by the Grace of God. GOD alone chooses whom to call, and whom not to call. Get the right sim, buy Jesustel..

So till Jesus comes, keep singing.. Keep praising. Keep worshipping. Chase the fruits of the Spirit like tongue speaking. Show love, kindness and charity to your CEO.

And watch and see if the Windows of Heaven will not be opened to you. Ramen.
What is Jesustel? grin grin grin grin grin

It's important to teach kids to be thankful even for the little things.
I agree.

I don't think it is wrong for children to be taught to say thank you even after eating. Even my hubby still thanks me after he eats whether or not it's his money that cooked d food.
Neither do I, I just felt to say it after every single meal eaten was excessive, that's why I gave a suggestion of a middle ground in my post, but to each his own, as long as the child grows up to be thankful and learns to not take anything for granted, that's the goal

Fashion › Re: Model Shares Horrifying Photos Of Her Damaged Eye After Getting Eyeball Tattoo by Daeylar(f): 9:03am On Oct 05, 2017
ToZaraWithaZ:
Your point is null and void. All forms of tattoo carry health risks. See here: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tattoo_medical_issues. People do stupid and pointless things for a myriad of reasons and will never stop doing them. Body tattoos also carry health risks, not only eye tattoos, so are you saying if an even worse allergic reaction were to occur to a person with skin tattoo, you would give the same brutal and wicked words as "commentary". People pull incredible stunts that carry greater risks than this all the time, just for entertainment purpose [and you probably wouldn't mind watching such shows], but when things go wrong and they lose their lives, I don't think anyone judges them this brutally, with such unsympathetic, unkind words I've been seeing through out the pages of this thread.

You lot are just being hypocritical, self-righteous and judgemental for no reason. Some of those condemning her probably have body tattoos - as if those do not have their associated health risks as well. This Canadian lady is not the first person to get an eye tattoo - that something went wrong in her case is no reason for you all to crucify her like this. Any one could have been as unfortunate - you need to show empathy, no matter how stvpid her action was. Afterall, stvpidity has become the norm in society, and how many people do you condemn for it? Some of you guys even praise others for being stvpid, thereby promoting the trend.

That girl is in pains. She wouldn't have done it had she known it would turn out that bad. The same way a person with complications with body tattoos wouldn't have drawn them at all, had he known the results beforehand.

Your comments are wicked and pointless. All of you.

Society has become dumbed down overall - that's the way it is all over the world. Fashion, entertainment, and riches are what people praise and respect most [they're more popular than everything else], so people do all sort of crazy things to feel important and draw attention - it's basic human impulse. She's a model, right? If such things must stop, then society has got to change its culture first and venerate higher values, before condemning a victim of the dumbed-down culture society itself celebrates. I would have condemned her on a normal day, but since it's a tragic situation, SHOW THE HUMAN IN YOU.
The comments here are just too bad,
It was a wonderful opportunity for the "holiest than thous" and the "Mr and Miss Perfects" of this world to show themselves.

Although I don't like the concept of transhumanism

Sweet question. smiley

The [color=darkgreen]Muses are the inspirational goddesses of literature, science, and the arts in Greek Mythology. They were considered the source of the knowledge embrodied in the poetry, lyric songs, and myths that were related orally for centuries in these ancient cuntures ... In current English usage, "muse" can refere in general to a person who inspires an artist, musician, or writer. ~ [b]Wikipedia

I am a lover of beautiful works of art, poetry and philosophical metaphysics. They give me the sort of wonderful feeling I get from the vibrations of the waves behind good music. It is this sublime feeling that I refer to as "golden particles" sprinkled on my air by the MUSES, upon which I meditate, sitting under the Dionysian tree of passion, wallowing in the sea of my imaginations where Blue Flowers of perfection abound. That feeling takes me to Golgonooza--paradise--the Emerald City--on the magic broom of the cosmic witches that gave birth to the galaxies after the universal semen made them gravid. Reading the likes of Oscar Wilde, Shakespeare, Goethe, Nietzsche, Schopenheaur, and others fires my imagination in myriad ways. The MUSES are sitting close whispering the Music of the Spheres in my hearing.
Good morning smiley
How are you doing?

I do know what a muse is however the phrase "Golden particles of muse" is what I didn't understand, I thought it was referring to something, which is why I asked.
Now I understand your use of it better,
Family › Re: Should Children Say Thank You To Their Parent(s) After Every Meal? by Daeylar(f):
ImaIma1:
Why do they say thank you when their parents buy them gifts like a bicycle, laptop, car, etc?
Afterall the parents brought them to the world and children are entitled to all gifts abi.
Saying thank you after meals is good. The children learn to be grateful.
There are too many ungrateful and entitled children out there. Children who never show appreciation or even know how to greet because parents are trying to be modern in their upbringing.
Poster let kids say thank you at any time they receive stuff. It helps them
Gifts are gifts, children are not entitled to gifts, children do not need a laptop or a bicycle. (Although it's good to give them, the laptop at the appropriate age.) If you get a gift for a child the child should be taught to say thank you and be grateful for every gift given. That's different.

Food however is a basic need. Children are entitled to food. A child must be fed.

The fact that they don't say thank you after eating will not make them ungrateful.

Op I'm with you, I think it's going over board, you can teach kids how to be grateful but saying thank you after every single meal eaten is doing too much in my opinion.

I think a middle ground is OK, they should teach the child/ren to be thankful and to appreciate the good things they have, they should also be taught not to take any thing for granted.

they can say thank you for their meals once in a while. (Once in a long while) that's all right, but every time is too much for me.
