Bro, you have to believe that guy... one thing I understand is that most people are intelligent but the level of their Intelligent Quotient (IQ) differs... Even in my department in futo what might take others 6 hours to understand could just take me 2 hours to comprehend... that's where IQ comes in and as such I use those extra times to play football, watch three football matches at a go in a viewing center coupled with my balanced social life... However, what I don't just do is to club, but think of other stuffs I do them perfectly well and I am currently the second best in my final year.....

In my level, I have industrious students with zero social life. Some are even Pastors in their various fellowship but with a Cgpa below 3.4.....

.... judging from my own case I believe CHM11 and linking his success to his moderate or high IQ, probably...
Bro, CHM11 said he was steady with those four, I repeat it is not readily possible in UNIBEN. Maybe he graduated from UNILAG, I graduated with a 4.2 I partied once in 100L and during my final year week programmes. Yes there are persons with higher IQ but believe me they hardly engage in those four talk of being steady.

Pls stop this rubbish...how can u be eating from pot and reading at the same time,...I had an outstanding result from the same Uniben without doing all these show offs.

Lived in BDPA, partied, clubbed, went to night class, played football and had a very stable social/academic life, made a 4.32 at the end of the day.

Uniben is one of the best schools, its a tough school academically but if you know your onions and you don't allow schizophrenia and anxiety get to you, you will blast.

And please next time respect schools like Unilag, UI, OAU and a few others because out here in the Industry and real life, people from these schools also represent and they also do quite well.

Please take that picture away from there jare and stop embarrassing my alma mata..
All these hall 4/hall 3 boys !!!!
Reading, drinking garri, eating beans and snapping at the same time....such unnecessary show of foolishness.

People will start thinking Uniben students drink garri too much now which is not the case.... We got classy smart and intelligent guys there...people who are on 3-5 scholarships at once
Bro, which kind lie be this na. You clubbed, partied, played football and had a very vibrant social life and still made 4.32, from same Uniben weh I grad.., you lie pass PDP. Even if na fishery sef e nor possible.

Of course you're very correct. If not for the thugs unleashed on the populace by PDP in rivers state, the votes would have reflected that the folks there also wanted change. GMB wouldn't have won of course but he would have pulled substantial votes.
Exactly, GMB would have sure pulled a reasonable amount of votes, say between 25-35%. Every test poll conducted saw Buhari winning by very wide margin, online poll conducted by Naij.com, NL, even the ones conducted by GEJ facebook handle, need I mention that of AIT grin. Okupe was advocating votes and support for GEJ on a programme (can't placed specifically) when his audience started chanting "change". GMB victory was written in the sky, moon, stars everywhere. Absolutely everything was reflecting a defeat for GEJ, GEJ was so clueless that he didn't realise his campaign team adopted image attacks strategy on GMB kept drawing more and more fans to GMB camp ( am an example of this, used to be a 'fencist'), I was forced to research about GMB, the result of my research made me love him and so rooted for him.

God bless Nigeria

Gbawe:
GEJ and PDP fans, after the PDP lost the Presidential election, have unravelled as very wicked, vengeful, unpatriotic and evil enemies of Nigeria's progress. All they know is to insultingly join issues with other posters while never suggesting anything positive or progressive that can move Nigeria forward. Look at the chap who brought up my old posts, which predicted how Jonathan will fail, to discredit me. Yet he conveniently pretended not to see the part where, alongside my prediction of the problems GEJ would face, I suggested how Mr.President could prevent those problems ruining his Presidency.

Did GEJ do a single thing he was asked to do by progress-minded Nigerians? Big NO !!! Yet his fans can only attempt to discredit others while they fail to acknowledge that Jonathan brought himself down by leading for the elites and those who did not mean well for him while he turned his back on Nigerians as some of us warned he must never do. To be honest, I am really tired of GEJ/PDP fans and wish most can take up Afghanistan citizenship because they are really not useful to Nigeria.
Exactly Bro, it baffles me why a learned person will even vote for GEJ. GEJ was obviously operating from the wrong side of the coin, neglecting the masses and further enriching the cabals. If PDP had allowed our vote to count in the SS it would have reflected that indeed he failed even though he's our own.
I'm from Niger Delta and I support any honest, courageous and incorruptible leader regardless of his/her birth region, GEJ was the exact opposite of those attributes and never deserved to continue with our mandate.

Isn't it an indictment on you that all the places you mentioned are countries and not cities in those countries. Nigeria belongs to all Nigerians and therefore Lagos is for all Nigerians just as Onitsha is for all Nigerians. The Igbos who own properties in Lagos bought the land on which they built their properties and paid exorbitant prices at that. If a Yoruba man refuses or cannot afford to buy or build properties in the East, how is that the Igbo man's business?

Bro, we've our own unique names, names like Owanrieho, Okonta, Onyiebe, Dumbiri, Ugeluge (these are few last names within my extended family), they are not Igbo names. Our association with Igbo migrants is one of the reason(s) young Ikas bear Igbo names today. My aunts and uncles above 50 years of age do not have Igbo names but pure Ika names.

My name 'Ndubuisi' is suppose to be spelled Nduwuiisi, but officially I use the Igbo format.

For example, in my village, Oyoko, we have many Igbos who have been living here for over 50 years, they own farms, you won't notice they are igbos except you're told. Same thing in Agbor and others.
These changes were due to association with the Igbos.

Ika South Local Government

Agbor is the headquarters of Ika South LGA and is spread out on hills and a deep valley, the Orogodo valley. It has an area of 89 square kilometres and an estimated population of 155,922 people. The LGA comprises two clans divided into twelve wards, namely Agbor and Abavo, each with its own traditional ruler. The people speak Ika, a dialect of Igbo language and are well known for their farming prowess with the largest foodstuff market in the state.

Ika North East Local Government
Owa-Oyibu, a growing town near Agbor, is the headquarters of Ika North East LGA, and like their brothers in the south the people speak Ika, an Igbo dialect. The LGA was created in September 1991, occupies a land area of 28.45square kilometres and has a population of about 144,270 . There are nine clans, namely, Owa, Ute-Ogbeje, Ute-Okpu, Umunede, Idumuesah, Igbodo, Otolokpo and Mbiri spread out into fourteen (14) wards. Each of these clans operates as a separate and independent entity under its own traditional ruler. They are well known for their farming prowess producing yam, cassava, melon, maize, tomatoes and plantain.

Re: Origin of the Ika people
Afamdememe@yahoo.com Oriahi, Matthew Afamefune 03.26.2012, 09:08am

According to your articles, one Ika community was founded by Ibo imigrants from Nri. the other by Oba's sons from Benin and today they speak the same Igboid language.. The title of our kings is Obi, an Ibo word, and the word Ali, prefix to the Bini word Ezomo as in Alizomo, found in both Ika communities, is Ibo. Question is: At what point did the Ibo imigrants overwhelm tbe Bini founders and foisted their languange on them? Also could the Ikas found in Benin towns like Owa & Iru not be captives of war?

My first name is Ndubuisi, a stronger and deeper igbo name than Ifeanyi. Our last names sounds very different from Igbo. Seems this picking of Igbo names started few decades ago and must be stopped.

Anyway, the awareness is getting stronger with the present generation. No more Igbo names.
