There are various specialist hospitals in India, their healthcare system is laudable and affordable, I think. But that doesn't mean you can't get extorted most especially if they knew you are very well comfortable, so that's a tip if you are planning visiting any time soon, I hope this helps. I would suggest just look on the internet for information or just fly over and confirm things yourself on arrival.
