I sent an email to this address (LagosStudentVisas@state.gov)....yet to get a reply.. please is Dat the right address... although Cameron replied and said no problem that the consulate already notified them about my approval and I should send my ticket information to them for pick up...I just want to avoid Any form of complication

I doubt his visa will be revoked, except he is found to have consciously with-held the truth. If he presents his case convincingly then his issue should be rectified within scheme and he will proceed with his travel plans.

After this has been rectified, I would advise he paid another SEVIS fee, this time with the name of his present school to avoid wahala at the POE.

my first 2 interviews I presented that of Cameron and later used that of northeastern state for my 3rd interview.. I contacted Cameron and d consulate... Cameron said I should travel with the visa and present it @ d Poe and if I don't like dere university, i can transfer away... consulate yet to reply

I'm talking about filing a complaint with the US Consulate...here in Nigeria. It has nothing to do with your SEVIS fee at this time, except your sister listed Cameron University as your school when she paid your SEVIS fee.

Yeah... d sevis no I used when I applied for d first time is d same thing I used throughout during my interviews... and my sister just called and told me Cameron university notified her about my visa approval... but I will still contact d consulate

juntod: Then I guess you can enter the US with Cameron I-20. I really don't know if they check DS-160 details at Port of Entry (POE). It will definitely state that your last choice was not Cameron. As advised earlier, contact the consulate. They are in the best position to address this issue. You don't wanna face issues at POE.

My advice: File a complaint to the US consulate you had interview. Do it now so it can be rectified in no time.

juntod: Do you still like the Cameron school? If yes, check the annotation on your visa. If its the same as the sevis number given by Cameron, you are good to enter usa with I-20 from Cameron.

juntod: You will have issues at Port of Entry since your I-20 school differs from the one on your visa. I might be wrong. My advice is that you complain to the consulate. They are in the best position to address this type of issue.

I have i-20 4 both schools with me

guys pls I just received my passport 2day but the name of the school on my visa is Dat of the previous school I went with during my first 2 denials... both schools are in Oklahoma.. I went with Cameron university during my first 2 denials and northeastern state university during my approval.. please I hope it ain't bad?

my interview was on the 25th of June, 6:30am appointment.. I was interviewed by the lady in window 1. it rained that morning and I was really sick after the interview.

me:.it was recommended to me by ets after my toefl result was out and I also checked usnews. com and Wikipedia and found out it is a prestigious university in Oklahoma.

me: 12,364,564.49 (crammed it already )
vo: do u have his financial documents with you?
me: yes
vo: please pass it let me see it...(she looks through his bank statement n types something on her system )
vo: okay.. what do u plan on doing after you graduate?
me: am coming back to Nigeria for my nysc program and I plan on working with the government or any top private firm for 5yrs ..also as my dad's first and only son, am entitled to every single property he owns, I must come back and help him out once I graduate.
vo types something, picks up my i-20,sevis receipt and sat scores, hands them over to me and says,'am going to issue you visa....hands over a white paper,circles an address and told me to go dere n pick up my passport on Monday )...reminds me the visa is for 2years and I should renew it after it expires

wip7: Using TRNC/Turkey as reference, there are tangible reasons students are denied study visas and these reasons varies according to country of origin or where the applicants reside or have lived.

1. For instance in EMU, African applicants above 25yrs coming to study undergraduate are seen as people having ulterior motive which may/may not be true. Therefore the university reached agreement with the embassy and other policy makers to reject applications from such group. Some have scaled through by submitting Age declaration of less than 25yrs and were admitted by the University but then the embassy looks at their current age and minus from when they wrote their olevel exams (Waec or Neco) and if there is any kind of foul play such will be denied. Example; A lady submitted intl passport with DOB 1991 but she submitted WAEC she wrote in year 2000, which translate that she wrote the WAEC when she was 9yrs old but the picture on the WAEC certificate showed she was matured at the time she wrote it....Automatically such person will be denied or she was denied.......the embassy do communicate back to the university and decisions will be reached. This is one of many reasons...When i have free time i will say more based on my 14years of recruiting students and my carnal knowledge as insider with EMU.

Nope....my cousin and I will b going to the embassy around August...my mom met an education consultant Who said they do deny most students visa..am only trying to verify why...we have tried usa n we were denied twice.. we don't want the Same thing 2 happen

I am tired of spending 12k every month for internet access yet i cant video stream and i browse with fear of exhausting the mb quickly.
I was using a proxy but it seems most networks no longer power it and the multilinks which happen to power is has no coverage in my area.

i actually loaded 3k 2days ago to get 2g since i am among the few lines who have the opportunity to get the 1 for 2 offer but i was not aware that offer has ended in december.

I cald a custmer care rep and he gave me a code for 2g thinking i use a BB but when i told him i use an android he said i should not bother using that code anymore talking about *440*16# but i should settle for 1.2g for 3k and i got so disappointed. The 2g sef never do me and here i have to get lesser for the same ammount i was using to get 2g.

Trust me, i went ahead and put the *440*16# but the prompt was giving a message that the code is not recognized on my device so i really dont know if your suggestion above will work o.

I think your tariff plan matters...if u ain't on club 10 padis just migrate and try it again... I had d Same problem... I had to migrate to club 10 padis... *166#...am not assuring u o...But it worked for me
