Earlier today, members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) took their agitation to the streets of Austria as they protested at the British Embassy in Vienna, the country's capital city. The pro-Biafra group which displayed a coffin painted in Nigerian colour - revealed that they are protesting against the killings of their members during the military raid at the home of their leader in Umuahia, Abia.

Ekiti state governor Ayo Fayose was spotted in his vintage car on his way to Chelsea Hotel in Abuja earlier in the day for his presidential declaration to contest the 2019 presidential election as a candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

PDP party officials were conspicuously absent from the governor’s declaration of his desire to dethrone Mr. Buhari whose close aides have reportedly started organizing his reelection bid.

Governor Ayo Fayose of Ekiti State expressed confidence that he would defeat President Muhammadu Buhari in a free and fair presidential election, citing his record of having defeated two incumbent governors in separate governorship elections in Ekiti State.

Pictured is Tope, the Akoto driver who raped a student of College of Education, Ikere Ekiti last week. The 200 level student of the College of Education, Ikere Ekiti was alleged to have been raped by the commercial driver along College-Igbara Odo way on Sunday, September 17.

The lady, who was said to be having malaria fever and went to town to seek medical treatment, was allegedly raped by a commercial driver fondly called (Akoto driver ) at about 8pm.

It was gathered that the lady was taken to hospital for medical treatment.

Enraged by the action, students of the College trooped to the streets and dealt with any known commercial driver sighted along the way.

According to reports, the suspect has made confessional statements to the police.

A man was forced to drink the water used in bathing his brother's corpse in a bid to prove his innocence in his death. According to Sapele Oghenek, the corpse of the man identified as Mechuko was washed and the water given to his brother to drink according to their tradition.

Report has it that the man swore that if he has a hand in the death of his brother, he also should die a tragic death...

A young man simply identified as Akachukwu who is said to be a hardcore member of the Indigenous People of Biafra IPOB was gruesomely murdered yesterday night in Port-Harcourt, Rivers state capital. According to multiple online reports, the young man was reported to have been shot dead near his residence.

The reason for this killing could not be ascertained as at the time of filing this report. May his soul rest in peace.

A young man was arrested and put in handcuffs after he was apprehended while stealing meat from the kitchen of the Parish Priest of St. Paul Catholic Church, Rev. Father Francis Effiong at the University of Calabar (UNICAL). According to a report, the suspect entered the Priest's kitchen this morning when the clergy had left to church for 9'o'clock mass and found his way into the kitchen to steal meat in the fridge.

The man, who claims to be a prison warden and lives in the boys' quarters just directly behind the priest's kitchen -thought no one was in the house here at the staff quarters. He ran out of luck as he was apprehended just when he was leaving the kitchen with bags of meat in both hands".

According to the report, before today's incident, many other items such as washing machines, television sets, cookers, and so on have been missing from the house.

This is really hilarious. This two pretty ladies in bikini were focused about getting their pictures taken - not knowing that a man behind was seriously struggling with swimming in the pool. After the photo was shared on Twitter with the caption; Can't wait for December, online users were quick to spot the "drowning" guy who looked like he needed to be rescued.

The President of the Senate, Senator Bukola Saraki, on Thursday met with Northern Elders’ Forum, NEF, led by Ango Abdullahi. The meeting which was held in his conference room at the National Assembly was centered around peace and unity.

He also met with Civil Society Organizations, CSOs, where issues concerning the salaries of lawmakers were discussed.

This was disclosed by Saraki’s media aide, Bankole Omisore via his twitter handle.
