A Nigerian man has to decided to show support for victims of Benue flood disaster his own "little way". Mr. Adjarho David Obaro also known as 'World Wrapper man' - is a charity marathoner from Agbarha-Otor in Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State, who is on a marathon from Lagos to Makurdi, Benue state capital in support of Benue Flood Victims.

Mr. Adjarho David Obaro who is the holder of the record of longest wrapper in the world will, flagged-off his charity marathon on Tuesday October 17, 2017.

The Marathon, a distance of about 900 km; estimated to take 25 days at an average of 40 km per day, is targeted at raising One Million steps that will be sold for One US Dollar (USD 1) per step.

According to reports, the money realized therefrom will be used, in partnership with Sesor Empowerment Foundation (an NGO working to rehabilitate displaced flood victims in Benue State) and other partners, to economically empower as many IDPs as possible in order to make them self-dependent and useful to the society after their stay in the camp.

This is what happens when luck finally locates someone.... the testimony will be unbelievable. A serving member of the National Youth Service Corps NYSC in Bony Island, River State, was overwhelmed with joy after she she got the attention of the vice president, Yemi Osinbajo during his last visit to Rivers state.

The corper who hails from Benue State but was born and brought up in Kaduna State - ran into luck when her overture attracted the attention of the passing vice president and he surprisingly asked her for her CV.. The young lady almost burst into tears of the lucky encounter.

According to reports, the corper is set to pass out by month end.

Which part of these pics shows there was a FIGHT over anything (not like these things aren't common). All the pictures show are a group of people close to a building.

This was how sloppy Trent, breakingtimes and igberetv got with their reportage that they've all but relegated themselves to blogs for hate mongers and radical PDP elements.

There was chaos today in Anambra state after youths decided to fight and struggle over their 'mobilization fee' after a mega rally ahead of the November 18 governorship election. According to reports, the youths fought each other during the money sharing saga at the All Saints' Cathedral in Onitsha, while some fled with the money they were meant to give others, according to a report by an eyewitness, Okagbue Anthony.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) on Friday flagged-off gubernatorial campaign in Onitsha, the commercial city of Anambra state - with Vice president Yemi Osinbajo, state governors and other dignitaries in attendance.

A young man is filled with appreciation to God after his younger brother survived a fatal accident which claimed two lives and destroyed nine vehicles along Owerri-Onitsha Road on Monday, October 16th. According to Ekene Gabriel, his brother who was the driver of one of the most affected vehicle (as seen in the picture) - came out with only a minor injury after the container truck failed brake and destroyed the vehicles.

Ekene Gabriel shared his excitement on Facebook with the words below;

My people did you know that the fatal accident where 40Ft container failed break and destroyed 9vehicles along Owerri-Onitsha Road(Ugwu Njaba) on Monday morning being 16th October:
1. The most affected vehicle, two women died instantly.
2. The driver of the most affected vehicle by God's grace survived with minor injury.
3. And the said survived driver happened to be my immediate younger brother(The same Mama and Papa)
Please you guys should help me thank the Almighty Jehovah.

A man known as Mr. Vitalis Kember has reunited with his family after leaving home after his wife gave birth to a set of triplets in Benue state. The woman who has been squatting in a kitchen after giving birth to the babies last Sunday - has been receiving help from well meaning Nigerians after support was solicited on her behalf on social media.

According to reports, the father who is a farmer and commercial cyclist departed for unknown reasons and never showed up after the birth of the triplets.

Today, the man returned and vowed to take full responsibility of his wife and children. He met with his family at Madona Hospital in Makurdi where the children taken to for medical checkup.

A six (6) months pregnant lady simply identified as Ogechukwu was arrested last week Thursday with five others by her boss for allegedly stealing. According to the CEO Behind Bars imitative, Prince Gwamnishu Harrison, others secured their bail by paying huge some but Ogechukwu who is said to be 17-years-old was denied bail by the police for failing to provide N15,000.

Yesterday at about 9:45pm, Ogechuckwu was reportedly released on bail and is set to be charged to court this morning.

Commuters and road users were stranded yesterday following a serious traffic gridlock after a portion of the Calabar/Ikom highway caved in at Iwuru, Biase LGA of Cross River state, cutting the road completely into two. A bus which was filled with passengers traveling - fell into to the sinkhole. The number of casualties is yet to be ascertained as at the time of filing this report.

Traffic was brought to a standstill after the incident as motorists devised alternative routes.

According to reports, the highway has remained a nightmare for motorists and commuters for years now, as they spend over five to six hours driving to Ikom from Calabar, instead of two or three hours due to bad road.

Cross River State Governor, Senator Ben Ayade at the weekend sent a high-powered delegation to Danare 2 in a bid to de-escalate tension between the community and some neighbouring communities in the Republic of Cameroon. This followed reports of renewed hostilities between the community in Nokia Local Government of the state and their neighbours in Cameroon.

A few days ago, some Cameroonian gandarme from Bodam community encroached into Nigeria's territory through Danare to cause havoc on the people over a land dispute. Two persons were reported dead while six others are said to be in critical condition with bullet injuries.

The delegation which was led by the State Security Adviser, Mr Jude Ngaji and the state Commissioner of Police, Mr. Hafiz Inuwa met with the leaders of the community, including youth leaders.

Speaking at the meeting with the community leaders, Ngaji assured the people that the governor will seek the intervention of President Muhammadu Buhari on the matter as it involves a foreign country.

While urging them to keep the peace and not react to the provocation of the Cameroonians, he said to governor will be swift in finding solutions to their problems.

He disclosed that the statement government will soon bring infrastructural development to the area so as to give them a sense of belonging.

He disclosed that the state police command has deployed its men to the community to ensure peace, adding, "As police, we have deployed our men to bring peace."

There was pandemonium earlier today in Aba, Abia state after a tanker loaded with fuel caught fire along Ikot-Ekpene road immediately after Opobo junction. According to reports, the incident happened due to bad road as the tanker crashed before going up in flames.
