The only visible light in space amidst the shakens will be fire balls/meteorites falling to the earth. But God promised also to destroy/roll away the current cosmic system and create new ones.

When reading the scriptures, I think we need the Holy Spirit to open our eyes to differentiate between literal and non literal text.

Once a supernova happens there won't be any earth to witness any meteorites falling into it anywhere. So you are wrong. If we go by what science says the earth will be no more long before a supernova occurs because the sun would have fried/swallowed the earth as it becomes a gas giant.
